When the m8 stock keyboard changes to numpad there doesn't appear to be a period so I can't enter decimal places.
Anyone else noticed this or know how to get around besides installing alternative keyboard or cut paste?

No problem here either, I have 3 rows of symbols under 1-0.
I was just using website version of Gmail and the keyboard you guys are talking about appeared when I needed to type a verification code. I think what I was seeing is an app issue and that keyboard styles are also app dependent

Haha, I love that.
Download Zeam, you can have 9 screens with that. Then download easyhome. Then you can easily switch between any home replacement.

Perhaps you could use the More Icons widget which is available in the marketplace? It allows 4 small icons in place of 1 large standard one.

I noticed in the setup menu that there is a gesture submenu to activate it. What kind of gesture is it possible to do? How to anable the voice control such as call ... Write ...
Tks

Sweeeeeeeet, thanks for this info. Any other hidden gems?
Thanks, guess we should sticky this thread cos I for the life of me cannot find any documentation on the gesture or voice control features of the HOX

In the messages app the text randomly gets small. Is it a known issue? I am using ARHD 6.0.0 thank you

You know that you can use pinch to zoom in the messaging app to resize the text? Perhaps you are doing this by accident.

I don't think you are accidentally making it smaller, I too have this random problem.
It usually happens when coming from the internet browser to messages via the notification bar. If I close everything and go to the app directly then the text is back to the size that I had left it originally.
It's the worst damn feature on android. I googled it up and it seems the only cheap fix is going with a sub par keyboard.
Would it be possible to request for a mod that makes this universal for all keyboards?

Get SwiftKey from Google Play .. this version allows you the change the size of the keys
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS50b3VjaHR5cGUuc3dpZnRrZXkiXQ..
This does not stop the keyboard from going fullscreen.
I agree this is very annoying. I just made the leap from iOS to Android to get a larger screen. Now I have a larger screen and a darn keyboard takes up the whole screen?
Just seems counter productive.
Hope google changes this soon.

I use thumb keyboard, in settings there's the "suppress fullscreen windows" option just for that.

Love the m8 but hate the fact my bottom row icons show on every screen including the blink feed is there any way to stop my icons showing on blink feed ?
(Meaning phone , messages and other two I have )
Love the phone and swap between my 5s and the m8 it's the only bug I have about the phone
Thanks

I'm hoping for a work around on this also.
It takes up too much of the screen.

I guess no reply means it doesn't bother anybody.....
Still loving my M8 anyway.....

Personally I'm on Venom Rom where I can set the Icons to transparent, but perhaps Sense Tollbox for Xposed could do the job too?
I wish htc would fix it as it's the only thing which I'm my opinion lets the phone down ... Don't want to change the rom to sort it as I don't want to void my warranty
