4.3 Clock app problem - Alarm screen doesn't show up! - Sony Xperia M

Hello everyone, I'm having a weird problem with clock app on Jelly Bean 4.3 (Xperia M SS). The alarm rings at the hour I set it to, but the alarm screen itself (with a turn-off slider and snooze button) all of the sudden stopped appearing! I'm currently turning the alarm off by using Fast Reboot app, but that's not the most handy way. I'm running stock 15.4.A.0.23 firmware with Xposed Framework and Internal Memory Swap. I think the problem started somewhere around the time, when I swapped the memory, although I'm not sure if that's related to it - baring the mentioned issue, clock app works fine.
I already tried clearing clock app data, rebooting the phone, cleaning cache and dalvik cache - but that didn't solve the problem.
Is anyone else having this issue or knows what might be causing it?
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
UPDATE: Fixed it by flashing nandroid backup. Thread can be closed.

It will say beautiful widget has stopped worked then force close. The widget keeps working and everything. Anyone have any ideas? I have tried uninstalling and installing it. Any other tricks you guys have. I know it says that it is supported. I am running Revolution HD. Stock Kernel.

Have you tried a different rom? Im on aokp and haven't had any force close issues
No, I haven't tried a different rom. I will eventually be making my way to CM9, but wanted to wait another week or so. Nobody else on Rev HD is having issues with beautiful widgets. Which makes me think that it might be something with the application itself?
I haven't had any problems on gummy or CNA with multiple kernels. Clear cache and app data if that doesn't work; try to Uninstall/re install
I uninstalled, then installed again still had issues. I then cleared app data and it worked. I noticed that when i created a new widget the weather animation was disabled. The secondi turned it on. The force closes started again. any ideas on why the animation would cause this
did you get it from the market or somewhere else?

Weired. I used beautiful widgets on stock, aokp and apex with not problems whatsoever. Try wiping app data with titanium.
aahhh, finally got it. I ended up uninstalling the animation add on lol.. then re installing it. Beautiful widgets was using almost 100 megs of memory, now it's using 7 haha.... hope this helps someone if anyone else is having issues!

[Q] Youtube, Camera, Alarm, and Gallery Not Responding.

Sometime after upgrading to 4.1.1 my Galaxy Nexus began to have trouble viewing Youtube. At first I blamed the network, but trying to view a video in the gallery has begun to produce the same result, causing the app to hang and crash, as well as causing Face Unlock to stop working, requiring a restart. Clearing the app's Data and Cache have no effect. This was only a minor inconvenience until I installed 4.1.2; Since the update having a Youtube or Gallery video fail causes the Clock app to stop working when my alarm is supposed to be triggered in the morning. Google Play Music still works fine.
The problem occurs at totally random intervals after startup, usually after a full day of being turned on, and I'm not entirely sure if it was initially caused by the JB update. I have enabled "Show all ANRs" in the developers options to no avail. When upgrading to 4.1.2 the OTA failed, as did trying to install the OTA files through CWM. I was forced to re-flash the device without wiping. I have a GSM Nexus running Stock 4.1.2 takju JB, rooted and unlocked with Clockwork Mod Touch custom recovery. I've tried searching the internet for people in the same situation as me, and although I've found several similar, I haven't been able to find the same problem, or a way to fix it. I have already tried using Fix Permissions in CWM, closing and uninstalling other unrelated apps, and Clearing the Data and Cache for all the affected apps.
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

wipe data/factory reset
I realize that will almost definitely fix the problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what could be done short of wiping or re-flashing the device. I'd like to keep a factory reset as a last resort, but thanks for the quick reply.

Not entirely sure if this is the same but my camera, gallery, music and a few others wouldn't work, giving a no storage error. I flashed a different kernel and now all is good, maybe worth a try before a full reset!

I've heard of a few problems like that, but my phone gives me no error dialogs at all, it just stops working. All the apps are fine until I try to view a video. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't, but if the video does fail and I have to mash home to to get out of the app then anything media related stops working with the exception of Play Music. Sometimes I don't even get an ANR.
I might try to flash a new kernel. Could you tell me which on you used?

Have you tried reflashing the gapps?

I haven't tried Reflashing Gapps yet. I've attached a logcat file from when Youtube, Gallery and Camera stopped working. Only Face Unlock displayed an ANR. I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly when the services stop working, but it doesn't seem to be when I do something specific to the phone.
Backing up, reflashing the phone and the restoring all my apps and data fixed the problem. Thank you all for the sugestions.

alarm stops working

When i go into stock clock app and click on one of my alarms it does nothing than says Unfortunately Clock has stopped working. anyone every have this prob. I tried wiping cache rebooting etc.

3rd Party Alarm Clock not working.

Hi. I have been having problems using any 3rd Party Alarm Clocks. The alarms work great only if the screen is active or application is active (foreground). If my screen is off and the application was not left in the foreground the alarm will not go off.
This is not a problem specifically with the clock applications, I believe it is a phone setting or miss behaving app. Just wondering if anyone might have any insight as to what may cause this.
I am running Android 4.1.2. Currently on Wicked Sensations. It also is not ROM related, others don't have this problem. The stock alarm works fine. It is not related to any frozen apps. I ruled that out. I am certain if I flashed fresh Rom and installed all apps fresh it would fix this minor glitch. But it bugs me not knowing what has caused it.
So I am just curious if anyone has ever experienced this issue and if so were you able to fix it.
Thanks

[Q] kitkat 4.4.4 not notifiying new sms

I tried searching but couldn't find an existing thread or anything on google. I've never had this issue before. I am on note 2 and just installed liquid smooth rom kitkat 4.4.4. I did full system wipe, internal sd card, and dalvik cache wipe 3 times in a row. When I get a new sms or google hangouts message I do not get notified by sound or led notify light. I do get a new notification in my pull down menu. I made sure volume is on max. I unchecked set phone volume to notification volume so they are separate. I changed the ringtone to something else. When hangouts was my default msg app I cleared system data, reboot phone, and logged in again manually. No sound. I then changed default msg app to the stock messenger app. Same issue. Everything else that would trigger sound on my phone works fine. Phone calls, alarm, time countdown stopwatch, pandora, music player, youtube are fine. Anyone else have this issue? It seems the only way I can make sure I have a new SMS is to turn on my screen. This is not going to work for me since SMS is the most used app on my phone. Can anyone confirm a bug in 4.4.4 for this or is this a liquid smooth bug? I didn't see anything in their thread about the rom. I am a day away from downgrading to an older version of liquid smooth 4.4.2
Thanks for your time.
