Does anyone know why my S4 is not connecting to LTE even though I'm in the area I only get 4G. My friend xperia z1 gets LTE and he is on T-Mobile too. I have a 5-6 years old sim card trimmed to micro sim can that be the problem?

I tried forcing it, official stock 4.4.2, wicked v10, cm 10, cm 11 still nothing. My s4 used to be m919n flash to m919 nb4.

They're already out in many countries. The UK already has the WiFi one and the 4g version is coming out September 14th I think.

I just unlocked and rooted my t999.
I will be using it with metro pcs, can anyone recommend any roms good to use with metro pcs? Or can I just stay stock? Is it safe to delete the t-mobile apps? What APN setting should use for data, mms, sms and voice to work properly?

You can use any rom or stay stay stock, up to you, and yes you can delete the T-Mobile apps.. For the APN, the T-Mobile APN will work fine

I'm sorry I don't know why I keep saying metro pcs, most metro pcs retail stores in my city changed to AIO wireless, so I'm getting AIO not metro, they told me it's the same as at&t as they are working with the same towers, so you think I have to change the APN from tmobile's to at&t? Or AIO?

You would have to change it, but I don't know if at&t APN would work. As far as ROMs you can also use at&t ones as well

If you call T-Mo, they can tell you if its blacklisted. If it is then it will not work.
It is blacklisted and it worked right when I inserted the AIO sim card, I just had to enter the APN for data to work.

I unlocked my Gs4 and went into available networks and selected search now and at&t came up so I selected it and it came back saying no service selected network at&t not available.Is there something that I'm doing wrong?at&t has great coverage in my area.any help would be greatly appreciated. I've got this S4 mini here and I can't switch network mode to 3G. It fails when I try. I've tried different Sim cards so its not a network problem.

heya welcome. ok so you're att phone but t-mobile network so you'll probably find yourself bouncing between here and t-mobile section.
the issue with being an att phone on t-mobile is att will push out their updates through their mobile network, and since you're not on that mobile network you won't see them.
soooo if you want to get the latest update I would download Kies. that's Samsung official software to update your phone, and do other things with it via USB connection to your computer.

that's where you can download it. install it, connect your phone to your PC, and Kies will walk you through the rest. gl reply back if you have any trouble.

Update to AT&T Note 4 will only happen if there's an AT&T Sim card in the phone. Borrow someone's and it will work.

Doubt a dead Sim would work, as it won't connect. But yes, there are some threads here where you can find the update to install using Odin.

I had same prorblem (On Cricket using an ATT Note 4). I took the phone to Best Buy when to in store Samsung kiosk and they updated it in about 4 min and where happy to help.
