Hi
Since "recently" (this afternoon, or so), I am no longer able to connect the mobile network / 3G. When I go to settings -> network -> more -> mobile network, I am not even able to find a provider, when I click on search.
I tried switching to airplane mode for a few seconds - didn't help.
I tried rebooting - didn't help.
I tried wiping cache and rebooting - didn't help.
Heck, I even just now flashed a new ROM (AOKP milestone 4; did a factory reset, data/cache wipe) - didn't help.
I had the stock ROM 4.0.2 installed with the stock radio, see http://ge.tt/2JYQ7jE/v/0?c
Now I'm on AOKP 4, see http://ge.tt/2JYQ7jE/v/1?c
Well…
What to do?
Thanks,
Alexander
i have the same problem ;/
Need help
Hi all,
I've got an X10i to fix it. CM7 and Doomkernel had been flashed on it. It works but cannot connect to any mobile network.
I have flashed a generic and a branded rom, but it doesn't work. The phone finds the networks but it can't connect. It writes: 'your sim card does not allow a connection to this network'. I have checked it is debranded.
Could you please help to find out the problem?
Try new sim card. If not use a toolkit to flash back to stock

Hello all, this is my first post, so if I placed it in the wrong category or you need more info, please let me know!
Anyways, I have been having a lot of problems with the latest Cyanogenmod nightlies regarding my Wifi. First off, I noticed it wouldn't auto connect to my home Wifi, as well as the one at my work. I looked deeper and I wasn't even able to remedy it with a simple turn off and turn on of my Wifi, I have to reboot the phone whenever I want to connect to a new network or reconnect if I get out of range. This is very annoying. I tried flashing an updated modem driver for my phone (I'm on bell in Canada, but it's the same as the att version) with no luck. I tried fully wiping my phone and freshly installing the latest nightly, no dice. I was just wondering if you guys could help me out!
Thanks, MickJuice

I just installed yesterdays' latest nightly of CM 10.2 and am not having that issue. Did you Do a clean install or a dirty one?
I have the same symptoms. If a solution is discovered please let me know. I did a fresh install in an attempt to remedy the issue.

I think this is a bug with Android 4.3 in general. I am having the same problem on ParanoidAndroid RC2 9/22.
I was looking into that, I saw alot Of Galaxy Nexus problems updating to 4.3

i'm having the same wifi issue too, reinstall stock rom and everything work fine,so, this has to be a custom rom issue for sure, ive gone back and forth a few time with the same wifi problem with custom rom only

I believe it's not a custom ROM issue, It's a 4.3 issue, as multiple different ROMs based on 4.3 are having problems, and the Stock is running 4.2.2
After running on a stock ROM(but rooted /w TWRP), I decided that I wanted to install a custom ROM so that I could tether if needed. Well, big mistake. I wiped stock and accidentally wiped my stock backup when going to flash a custom ROM and so far I've tried XenonHD, Jedi X19, IllusionROM, and now I'm on a Stock-Tweaked. So far, every single ROM has caused massive delays in receiving SMS messages and syncs from stuff like gmail.
Data is definitely working, and i've tried both the epc.tmobile.com and fast.tmobile.com APNs but my phone keeps hanging when it trys to send some texts and, if I have texts "waiting" to be delivered to my phone, I only receive them once I turn on my phone screen or only if the screen is on. So what the hell is going on here?
Don't mess around with roms and flash the stock-root injected one via Odin.
Download goo to install latest twrp and then download stock ROM for your device, wipe first 4 options not internal or external and not otg USB at least 3 full wipes then flash stock ROM and wait and you should b good
I installed the stock rom via Odin and still having this issue. =/
It seems that if I go to 4G/3G/2G mode only the issue doesn't persist. Or at least not as much. But then I can't use LTE! =/
Call tmobile tell him you did a factory reset on your phone and that you're having this problem and they will reset the network on their side. This happened to me before in the past and a quick call to them fix my problem. Hope this helps

Hi Everyone,
Facing a strange issue, after installing Virgin ROM (Pure google 4.3) I am not getting network on any other ROMS, tried several roms (Infamous 10, 8.6, AICP)...
However, if i come back to virgin tom, i get the network signal back
Going crazy as i cant try any other roms...
I'd Odin back to stock. Then root again. Then try a new rom

You need to flash a more compatible kernel to get the network working properly.
I read about this issue and some people say to disable and re-enable DATA
after reboot, same holds true for the wifi..
Check it out!
