[Q] How to fix Audio distortion on CM11(R8)

Can some one give a solution for the audio distortion in cm11 (R8) this bug is only not for cm11 only but also for mokee and PAC MAN too

Well it's an issue with our source !!
Don't have a fix

But the audio worked perfectly on cm 11 (r3) on the redmi 1s which I revert back as the sound is gr8

R9 is already out, check it out.

i know that r9 is out but still the audio distortion is not fixed......but one thing i dont understand is that the bug which was fixed in r3 why is it there in the later builds

can someone port the r3 mixer_path.xml file to cm11r9....as i tried to replace it with r3 and my sound went and to restore the sound i had to flash the rom back again

Found the solution myself

You can fix it just by revert back to cm11 r5.

all bugs you listed for nokia xl that means that the nokia x version is stable ? and does this rom have stability issues like cm 11 (apps crash , sometimes the lockscreen don't work ect.. )

Yeah . As I dont have a Nokia X , so its impossible for me to test bugs . If you have a X can u help me in testing ???

There is NO Screen bugs , NO Lockscreen bugs

sensors don't work on nokia x
sim card worked the first time but after rebooting the device it didn't work
everything else is working great

Sensors dosnt work at all !:crying: And for Nokia XL sim works fine .
Have you checked your camera ? Have you found any APP crashed ? Is the audio working good ?

i faced the same app crash as cm11 for example agar.io is crashing
and the phone detetcted the sim card but after 30 mins i dont know why

Can you please flash the rom for twice or thrice ?
Is your WiFi working ?

Sudden AOKP ROM problem ???

I had flashed AOKP 21/2 build. It was working great for a week with little overheat problem . Nothing serious though . But from today onwards it started restarting on its own. It happened couple of times and now all the bugs people have mentioned starting showing up. It makes that crackling sound when headphone is inserted and won't recognize it . Network won't come after the restart. That brightness fluctuation and almost everything. Does anyone has the same problem ? Cause for a week it was working great. even my video recording was fine.

It is the most stable rom i found till now and VoLTE also works pretty well.

Why stock rom ?? VoLTE works on custom roms

The modem you have installed must have come from a stock om with volte support in order to continue to enjoy volte on your custom rom. the custom roms do not provide anny modem software and hence if your stock rom did not have volte you will not have it after flashing a custom rom.

[BUG][Custom Rom] Problem with audio jack, no sound on LineageOS microG Custom Rom

Hello everyone !
I tried the LineageOS microG version, as I want to try to use my phone without any google stuff and go full FOSS.
So I found this ROM here : https://lineage.microg.org/
And... everything is working fine, no Google software and still my phone is perfect and full FOSS. Except for the jack plug !
Sound is working fine and I can connect my bluetooth speakers and Bose headphones, sound is good.
But when I want to plug my jack 3.5 cable in, it's not working, I have no sound at all. I disabled AudioFX and still, nothing ! Youtube videos are buffering and have no sound too.
Looks like it's a software problem, because I installed AOSP Extended custom rom and jack was working fine (with gapps nano flashed too).
I don't want to switch ROM as this full FOSS is an incredible experience for me, so if anyone has a solution, I'm taking it

Zuk Z2 sound sound problem when calling

Hı everbody. I have problem about no sound when Im calling. I have tried many stock and custom ROMS and differnet baseband with that ROMs. Everything was ok until I upgrade
8 oreo rom. after I upgrade 8 custom ROM (I couldnt remember which one cause I tried more than twenty roms :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops: ). I couldnt solve the problem.
Does anybody tell me What should I do.

Baseband and kernel doesn't matter.
Did you enable HD calling from the settings

im also facing the same issue for me audio totally broken no audio from speakers,no notification sounds nothing...tried many stock & custom roms can you update the post if your issue is fixed please

No i have already same problem. İ have small bug to work phone download lesser audio from google apps open it press speakers and press settings click " do not mute speakers" and try calling.
Dont worry headset icon still on main screen

I changed audiojack assy but ıts not solved.Problem absolutely software issue. Dont need replace hardware

Flash zui 1.9 (with qfil)then zui 3.5 (with qfil) then 4.0(4.0 automatically updated via phone) then unlock bootloader flash twrp flash rom below
