I am facing a problem, whenever i puy my phn in my pocket n someone call me then the screen automatically get touched and sometimes the call gets rejected and a msg used to be sent to the caller.. I have turned off glove mode but still i cant reduce its touch sensitivity.. Can someone help me? Its really very annoying problem...

there can be a bug in ur firmware something that cannot turn off glove mod.
so i recommend u to repair ur firmware by PCC

I have root with dual recovery and locked bootloader.. So can I continue with PCC?

Also can u please check if ur phone can be touched with glove while glove mode is disabled??
In my case glove mode works with very thick layer of cloths too.. And when I turn it off, i cant touch it with very thick layer of cloth but i can touch the screen through medium thick layer of clothes.. Please confirm

Ok dude....if you have root there would be a solution for that problem.
Mount system as r/w and go to system/usr/idc.
It that folder you will find 3 files.
Open, with a text editor, the file called "clearpad.idc" .
In that file search for " touch.filter.level = 2 "
By default the value would be "2".
Change that value the as you want between 1 and 7. (I would recommend "4" or "5" )
Reboot your device.
If you don`t want to edit your file I will attach the file extracted from my system.
Copy it to system/usr/idc and set the permissions to 644.
Reboot your device.

I did exactly what u have said and set the value 4,5,6,7 and set permumission n then reboot. But still touch sensitivity is same as before..,

I don`t know if is just a placebo effect but I think for me works
You can tune also the touch pressure.I did tune it but i`ve ended by having an unresponsive touchscreen :laugh:

If I use a thin matherial like a paper or something like that it will register the touch but with something more thick it`s ok!

Have u tried going to settings/language & input/pointer speed.
Maybe this will allow u to control the sensibility by removing the false positive by putting the setting lower.

I rooted y tipo dual with this method and got some serious problem,like :
1. could not change phone ring tone.
2. got phone reset issues.
after this I factory reset my phone,all thing got fine and my phone was still rooted!
dunno why but i still have SU and access to root folders!

For people phone that ask to enter the restore code just ignore it and press Restore .
I am Using Sony Xperia Tipo Dual and no factorry reset is needed .
Note :
After the phone restart itself turn off the phone and unplug the battery for awhile ( Some second ) and plug the battery back then turn your phone on .
After root I found that it read my SD card more fast when I restart the Device .
Some problem is slow to let computer detect ( take about 5 second compare to unroot )

You should have done a backup of your previous boot animation
Anyways, Get the stock firmware zip file and extract the boot animation from it.

Sony was making this version over month but the firmware is still a little underdeveloped.
Sony should fix these bugs:
-volume of sound is too low(calls, music, ringtones)
-Sony don't fix calibration of dispaly
-why the top and the bottom bar is gray, not black???
-front camera has poor sharpness, blurring in the corners
-rear camera is a little better, but still not perfect
-call quality and GSM/UMTS range isn't to good
I DO have the Sony XPERIA C1905 15.1.C.2.8 fw available in PC Companion ready for upgrade. (APAC region - Malaysia)
Don't want to upgrade as I'm not a first adopter, so I'll wait until someone else upgrades and reports back in some meaningful way.
Be interesting to read what or if there is any real changes to the existing 15.1.C.1.17 fw
Guess @icoolguy1995 will be rolling his eyes when he sees this firmware thread pop up.

Yeah, I have experienced the same problems. Especially sound, it is a little too low when hearing through headphones. A message pops up saying if you hear it too loud for a long time it can damage your ears while I can barely hear the sound.

Sorry you! fw 15.1.C.2.8 fix camera (beauti than C.1.17), fix suond. i update new fw, on menu has app SuperSu (but can't open). i unistall, and root successfully (framaroot V1.6.0), i update for PCC.

SEUS Fail
So this happened to me the second time now (same phone).. everytime I update using SEUS it fails after the file has been downloaded and is being pushed into the phone. I'm pretty sure once my phone has been "repaired" it will come out factory again. If this happens a third time Im going all CFW from then on

Additionally I made the minimum screen brightness even lower than stock as it was a bit too bright for me at night.
Just flash the zip in recovery and reboot. If you want to test it on some other firmware or device then make sure to make a backup!

Hi olokos,
I think there a very simple way to enable the Multiusers functionality in this device, and i already used it and worked perfectly.
(My device is sony xperia z1, android 4.4.4, stock rom, rooted and deodexed):
Step 1: Install GravityBox Module (last version).
Step 2: Enable Lock Screen Rotation : go to the GravityBox settings menu then under Status bar tweaks --> QuickSettings Management then enable the "lock screen rotation".
Step 3: add this line to your "build.prop" (or use any build.prop editor from the play store):
Code:
fw.max_users=4
Note: add the above line under the "ADDITIONAL_BUILD_PROPERTIES" group codes in the build.prop, and don't forget to check the same permissions for the "build.prop" as before.
Step 4: REBOOT.
After that you will see a new entry in your system setting called "users" which you can add and/or edit your user profiles.
And when you rotate your lock screen you will see all your profiles to be changed directly from the lock screen.

not really, it's just decompiling framework-res.apk using advanced apktool and modify one of the values in values/integers.xml or one of those.
If you can wait then wait till I switch to .157 and remind me here like idk, weekly here starting from 2 weeks from this post. I'm really busy now and I don't have much time for myself, school is killing me. :/

It wont work coz Sony uses its own unique method of signing those themes.. Hence we need root to make them work.. Big companies like KnowItMobile get approved by Sony officially i.e they get signed by Sony.. So their themes work without root..

My Z1 compact have rooted and superuser mod, then put the file on system/app, but the icon not changed in my phone? any other suggestion dude?
By the way, this is a beautiful theme...

Already install as normal app, but the icon still not changed...
me too, my Sony Xperia ZR 4.4.2 root, deodex, superuser mod , patch to Android but I'm trying install as nomal app or put the apk in system apps , nothing changed except background wallpaper & screen lock wallpaper

Install the apk and then push it to System/Apps with Permissions - r-w-r-r ... Reboot..!!

Its working fine for me, try again by removing then redownload the apk from thread then install it as normal apk, AND DONT MOVE TO SYSTEM OR ANYWHERE ELSE MANUALLY!!
