[Q] Do not get mobile network after flashing rom - Sprint LG G2

So, I have flashed a few roms, the most recent, Lego Rom, and I am still unable to activate my network. I have mobile data but no phone. I have went back and tried to install from freshly rooted to a rom but without any change. I am following install instructions to a T. This is by far not my first time installing a custom rom. Anyone have any ideas what my problem is?

I am currently on ZVC, which on Lego Rom, is supposed to be fine. I have went back to ZVA and installed suggested kernal for PA as well, no luck.

Go back to stock that's what I did when I had a similar problem

I have tried doing this. I now do this everytime. I am usually a flashaholic so it's driving me crazy.

Did you root before or backed up your efs partition from before.
If you root with ioroot. I read somewhere before it copies something that might fix. Search xda

I did back up efs, I ended up flashing the ZVA radio and am on Liquid right now. Kind of annoying though.

[Q] ZVB to ZVC

I have a rooted device and am trying to upgrade from ZVB to ZVC but each time I try it starts the download then has the droid with a red error message. I want this upgrade and am guessing my rooting has caused the issue.
Any advice how to get the upgrade on my phone?
Can use lgnpst. Go the the #lg-optimus-g irc and the link is in there to download, install, and run it

I tried to download the ZVC from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230106 there but it was an .img file and I couldn't convert it to a bin to use with LGNPST.

Have you made any changes other than root? Do you have TWRP installed? Let me know about these 2 and we'll go from there.
Yeah I have TWRP installed. Besides that I have not done anything that I can think of, anything in particular that you're talking about?

If you have TWRP 2.5.0.0, go to wipe, factory reset, then advanced, /system, /cache, /data, / dalvic. Then install this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38755109.
Let it boot up. Ill put another file here in a minute.

After having this installed for a day, I've noticed that my data connection is gone.
I have everything turned on but only WiFi works.
Never mind! Updated PRL and Profile and data connection has been reborn!

Recovery

So ive rooted this fine device with framaroot and.have flashed both twrp and cwm a couple timea as well but cant seem to boot into them. It just gives me a black screen with a measage about recovery security. Did i need to unlock before root? Kind of strange to be able to successfully root without unlocking.

I'm guessing you're on stock. I've never heard of that.
So you unlocked using FreeGee?
For this phone, TWRP is your best option. Makes me wonder if CWM has caused that error.
You could try installing TWRP thru goomanager.
Or, run FreeGee again, and install with TWRP.
Or you can use teeny bins with LGNPST.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Run freegee to unlock or the secure boot certificate, not matching what it should be (partition sizes/md5 or whatever security they use) will prevent you from going anywhere besides normal boot

Ahh, i was not aware it was just a simple app that could unlock. I get the following message attached in the screenshot, though. Is it safe to proceed?

It's fine. If you get an error then go to the irc and talk to them about it and they'll help figure out what went wrong and how to fix it but if it errors out don't reboot

4.4 ROM Flashing difficulties

Hello, I have been trying to flash a 4.4 ROM on my Optimus G for the longest. I am currently running a 4.3 but can't a stable one as well. Every time I try to flash a 4.4 TWRP almost instantly says fail every time even though it is the most updated version, does anyone know why this is?

You have to use a KK recovery. CWM or TWRP will be marked as working for KK. KK being 4.4

Well, if you have the right TWRP, and are wiping /system, /data, /cache, /dalvic, I'd say bad dl , or your SD might be messed up.
That's the only reasons I can think of.

See if you can flash a stock ROM. Also, reinstall recovery. DL the one from Shelnutt2 on the codefire server. There's also a link for it in the root guide.
After reinstalling recovery, and if it'll install a stock ROM, try a 4.4 rom again. If it still fails, I'd say try wiping your SD.
Other than that, I'm at a loss.

[Q] Can you Upgrade to 4.4 if your rooted with no recovery?

My girlfriend has an AT&T Note 2 running 4.1.2 that is rooted, but with no custom recovery.
Is there a way to get the update.zip put it on the root of the SD card and upgrade through the stock bootloader?
She doesn't want to start from scratch, just upgrade. Doesn't really matter if she loses root or not.

We're not getting the OTA update, I assume because it's rooted.
You can unroot it then do the update

If you used CF auto root to gain the original root...then you have a modified stock recovery and OTA will fail...
You would need to push a stock image via Odin to restore the device to stock I believe...g

[Q] What is efs?

When i boot into stock recovery i get this:
E:failed to mount /efs (Invalid Argument)
If anyone could let me know what this is and how to fix it, that would be awesome!
Flash CWM recovery, boot to it, go to advanced and look for format efs...
I am currently experiencing this same problem. My note 2 will not load past the samsung logo. I installed touch cwm but ddont see the option to format as you say. Im lost and am really hoping there is a way to fix this. I did download a efs zip for the sph-l900 but i have no idea how to instal it on the phone. I tried to odin a stock file with no luck. It says pass but still does the same thing.

It's on the old versions not on the latest go and find an old version for your device and it should be there, I had that issue when I was using twrp and that fixed it...

my brother fixed it by going into the main files with twrp. He had to make the efs filed mount. He just manually entered the file and then used Odin to flash the stock image. When we got into the os it was in factory mode. So we rooted and turned factory mode off. All works now and I'm extremely happy with this device.

From what he is telling me it is too advanced of a write up to post atm. When I get some time to sit down with him I will do a write up to help others as I've noticed there are several with the same issue. I got this phone from a friend that told me if I fix I can have it. Lol so we took a couple hours and he fixed it.
