Well, finally we have got KitKat and so I may ask, why you want to go back?
If you want to run 4.3 custom roms, no need to downgrade, go ahead and flash.

flash ofw with odin then flash cwm and restore backup. it worked for me
People are saying you can't flash back to 4.3 from 4.4.2, which is partially true.
Even when you flash the 4.3 firmware, you will still have 4.4.2 bootloader.
However, if you are not really fussed about the mini details, just flash it like you would normally with Odin,
then when there are problems with wifi, use custom kernels to fix it.
Otherwise, flash 4.3 then use a nand backup to restore (if you have it).

What custom kernel should I chose to fix the WiFi problem?

odin
Just using odin 1.85 to flash back to 4.3 stock rom. Remember to wipe data/cache before flash
I hope this can help.

How do i flash it? My only choices are Odin and download mode.
You may need to do a factory reset. Then Odin. If no custom rom, factory reset will put u back to stock.

Does Odin have a option to do a full wipe/factory reset?
That may be the only option.
He must have used the wrong root script, like AT&T or Sprint root.

You need either 4.3 or 4.4.2, MDL is 4.2.2, it'll never flash, so flash 4.3 or 4.4.2, you can only flash 4.3 if you had that firmware before you attempted to root, if you had the latest update you need 4.4.2!!

I fixed my phone..I bypassed the "SEANDROID EFORCING" screen..I had 4.4.2 before I tried to root..but since I bypassed it took me back to 4.2.2..and since then I've been getting issues on the phone such as: The wifi doesn't work and my mobile hotspot doesn't either. I can't update my android version since it tells me my phone was modified. But umm yeah.

How did you manage to get it to 4.2? As far as I know downgrading from official 4.4 firmware WILL brick your phone. There's no way around it. I'm very curious to know how you did it! Thanks in advance!

When I was in 4.4.2 I wanted to root it (of course) but I used the wrong baseband version/file so it messed up. Then it gave me like some type of warning saying (SEANDROID EFORCING) Warranty Bit: Kernel
I told my bro to fox it and he did, idk how he did it but he did. I search up on youtube SEANDROID EFORCING and I guess thats how he managed to save my phone.

That's what happens when you flash a 4.2.2 ROM which you can still do.. that SEANDROID message doesn't prevent anything so there is nothing to bypass.. If you're ok with 4.2.2 then I guess you're good but personally I would prefer to be at least on 4.3.. All you have to do is follow my previous directions
Edit: you could also just flash a 4.3 or 4.4.2 ROM

MJ5 is a good choice since you can install 4.1.2, 4.3, or 4.4.2 roms.
But for KK roms, offline charging is not working.

Thanks for your answer, but no, I've tried that and if you install a 4.4.2 rom on top of a 4.4.4 rom it won't do anything and go back to 4.4.4
Edit: I installed the new version of TWRP and Wiped: Dalvik, system, data, internal, cache and factory reset and it let me do it.
Thanks for making me try it again, it didn't work before.

OK I've never had that problem I've always just flashed a new Rom over old rom even if I was on a aosp Rom. I believe ur best bet is to flash a stock 4.4.2 touchwiz rom through ODIN then flash whatever 4.4.x Rom you want. Their are plenty of step by step instructions on what to do all over the Internet.

I want to update my device to N900TUVSFPH3 from fob6..do we need to unroot first, then flashing in Odin?
There is no need to unroot before flashing in Odin. One thing I highly recommend is backing up your data before flashing in case something goes wrong.

With Samsung phones, it is not always possible to revert to a previous bootloader. Unfortuantely, I don't know the Note 3 well enough to say whether it can or can't be done. Personally, I always run the latest modem and bootloader on a Samsung phone, regardless of whether it will run a stock or custom ROM.

Flashing the latest stock rom via Odin will upgrade everything on the phone to the latest stock rom, including bootloader and modem.
