[ROM][CM10][4.1.2][07-Dec-2012] Sapir - CM10 based ROM + More

Sapir is a CM10 based ROM from CyanogenMod Gerrit with cherry-picks and other changes, such as the in-rom DPI Changer.
It has recently been made available for the I747 as well.
Credit goes to the CyanogenMod dev team.
ROM also available for other devices in the site.
Directly from CyanogenMod forum:
Code:

/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

Download
Changelog (full one in site):
[*] DPI Changer
[*] Enable nav bar
[*] Left nav bar
[*] Transparent nav bar
Open Issues:
Camera - the usual issue. For now, I simply use Play Store camera apps, such as LG Camera.
Superuser - CM recent changes caused an issue with CM10. Workaround: Install SuperSU, run it and let it replace the binary.
When DPI is changed to 240, screen may flicker. Workaround: Go to Developer Options and check "Disable HW Overlays".

MR is probably temporarily MIA, so the thread can't be updated or something since he's the OP.
EDIT: Couldn't flash the ROM. TWRP gives me an updater binary error. Downloaded the ROM a few times from various PC's and devices. No dice.
EDIT 2: Fixed error. All is good.
Installed fine with me, no lags, no fc, so far, so good, great work.. I wouldn't recommend to change the kernel, didn't work out for me, thank god I H

GingerDX
Now under new management
Intro
Let's continue the fun!
This project is a continuation of doixanh's personal ROM, known as GingerDX. ("Ginger" as in "Gingerbread", and "DX" as in short for "doixanh")
Brought to you by TeamFun: eagleeyetom, djnilse and AChep.
As set in stone by doixanh, the main goal is to have a fast, smooth and lightweight CM7 based ROM with some special features.
Before we begin:
Code:
package gingerdx;
import disclaimer;
public class GingerDX Disclaimer extends Disclaimer {
/** * Your warranty is now likely void. * * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, * spontaneous combustion, or any other host of cosmic penalties * which may befall you, your family, or your phone. * */public GingerDXDisclaimer(){ warranty.set(0); }
}
GingerDX
now even has its own IRC channel! If you feel like chatting with each other or hanging out with us: #GingerDX NOTE: Before you click thelink to get to FreeNode's webchat or fire up your IRC clients: The developers are NOT your personal support helpdesk norroot of endless knowledge. If you are a developer or have a really urgent or trickyproblem come tell us about it.
SCREENSHOTS
GingerDX
* v031b (11-03-2013):
hotfix release
* updated Ring Locker to show the time correctly
*JellyBean theme updated (USB mounting)
*updated Polish translation (sorry for that)
*v031 (08-03-2013) - Happy International Women's Day! Let's celebrate.
*Ring Locker (to activate go to GingerDX settings->Other)
*PIE controls ported from ParanoidAndroid PIE is a fully-customizable replacement for the stock on-screen navigation buttons found in more recent versions of Android. It stays hidden off-screen, only to be brought to life by a predefined gesture. PIE can be manifested on all four sides of the devices, and there's even an option to set up multiple trigger areas, making this not only a neat mod to look at, but a convenient one, too. (androidpolice.com)
*SuperSU 1.25
*ES File Explorer 1.6.2.5
*GalleryDX replaced with QuickPic 2.9.3
*HoloLauncher 2.0.2
*Big translation update (DE - laufersteppenwolf, PL -atomrat and me, IT - shineworld, RU - AChep, NL -SMillerNL, PT - jucazastrow )
*Improved JellyBean theme *AliveDots Wallpaper - cool live wallpaper by AChep
*Easter egg! Try to find it

Confused...any certain boot loader you havta be on? Tried a 4.4 before no luck Was told update boot loader..mine is LK4
Sounds silly but can you add the AM/PM to the clock in status bar? Or remove the clock in status bar?
Are the same graphical glitches in CM 11? I really want to use this rom but im not looking to be flashing every day or week..
Is there a way to turn off the softkey lights?

I'm not sure if the feature is in the rom (not running it currently) but I've used this app for others.

It doesn't show the s3 as a supported device but it works.
After a few failed attempts at moving over from Task650 from other 4.4 releases, this one made it onto my device - I did a bad TiBu install of phone call logs and it started crashing android.com.phone - I fully erased the phone from the system and reinstalled overtop the Gummy.zip and everything is working well. Speedy, responsive.
I noticed however that Fast Charge (while listed in Quick Settings, a reason I moved) does not work with any (stock) or 3rd party 4.4 KK Kernels.
Also, I'm at a loss on how to add app shortcuts on the Lockring.
Settings in developer option (notably the hardware overlay which makes the screen not flicker when using the keyboard / listed as a known bug) do not seem to stick.
Will be watching this nightly progress in coming days, and hoping for new features (like bandwidth meter/led colour control!)
Seems to run nice but Netflix definitely doesn't work for me.

No it doesn't stick. There is workaround that will resolve the flickering screen that will hopefully be in the next nightly build.
The Gummy team is still hard at work to get all the features fully implemented. :thumbup:

In the next nightly will be some additional CPU clock speeds.
