I've experienced a weird problem with my Gpad (stock 4.4.2) trying to use Miracast ( Push2tv: ptv3000) with Netflix, first odd thing : when I tried to connect my gpad to my tv it's showing "HDCP authentication failed"on the tv,but it's connected anyway and showing the mirror of the gpad on tv:everything working as it should:audio and video including Youtube. Now when I tried Netflix:everything were ok until playing the movie:I got sound,on video : I got everything ,even the navigation bar, caption but not the video of the movie (the video is perfect on the Gpad).I have a Lg g pro phone running 4.1.2 and everything is perfect.
Weird problem to me: everything else works except video on Netflix with the LG Gpad 4.4.2
The problem is no video on the tv with Netflix, video is perfect on the Gpad
Anybody else experienced the same problem?anybody have a fix for that?
Any input is greatly appreciated

When I try to play a youtube video using the youtube app on the Medialink HD it always shows unable to play content, unsupported file format. After this the medialink often crashes. Does anyone know if this is a common issue?
I use it with a HTC one on stock 4.2.2 and the medialink is running firmware 5.19.100.1. Tried already different HDMI cables and a different TV.
I also recognizes that the medialink is showing artifacts on still images (for example in the gallery app). A reset of the HD medialink didn't work.
Any tips or other suggestions?
I have the same issue however it worked fine on my OneX

I'm facing the same issue that youtube app hd or any quality videos they stop in between after 3 - 4 mins of playback! Which so much sucks .
However I feel the issue is with the phone due to many changes and battery saving options in 4.2.2 (talking about htc one x) , so I turned all off . Like power saver, sleep mode (this made a good change), wifi optimization . After all this off, I played a YouTube app hd video and it played good and smooth for 10 mins but still then stopped as maybe my battery got too low or its just the problem that will happen as this media link is made poor with hardware or software, not being properly checked or it needs another update so it gets fine for YouTube too .
Glad I got this media link for free . As its so frustrating because the reason I wanted it got lost and all other in phone operations mostly works fine, but I wanted it mainly for YouTube long videos like some shows, etc enjoyment on big screen as it should work good as anyways it asks for wifi internet, but such a shame htc!
So I been trying to watch video from my phone to my tv on kitkat so far I tried every player and I'm getting laggy playback as soon as I connect my phone to my tv hdmi even netflix lags but not as bad but I have tried using a touchwiz rom and it works a lot better but on the aosp kitkat I have zero success running video to my tv smooth or at least decent it plays smooth without the hdmi connected I was just hoping anybody got any advice workarounds or anything thanks!?
Hi
I have the same issue connecting my Galaxy Note 3 to the galaxy smart dock, HDMI to TV..Now my videos is lagging as well but when disconnecting from smart dock, the video plays smooth. THis appeared first time after installing kitkat on my device. Would love to see a fix to this as there is no way to roll back to Jelly Been from Kitkat
Any help on Net flix please
On my old phone i was able to get the US version with the help of HOLA and then cast the screen to the TV. Unfortunately with the LG G3 when I cast the Netflix screen I can see all the navigation, ie the volume control, progress bar etc but no video.
If I cast local video it can be seen.
i ahve an unlocked LG G3 with Lolipop 5.0
HI Folks
More frequently videos are not playing in MX player. If i reboot, it works for sometime and later ends up in same issue? Could you please help me on this?
Hi everyone,
I don't know if it's a coincidence but since my Honor View 20 PCT-L29 was upgraded to build 11.0.0.137 (C432E3R2P3) I can no longer view DRM Widevine-protected video streams via Kodi in desktop mode.
I don't think it's a Kodi's problem, because Netflix, Disney+ etc. work perfectly when the smartphone isn't connected to the external screen. I also don't think it's an HDMI cable problem, because everything worked great before the update.
Am I the only one who finds this problem? Can it affect the fact that I disabled HMS? However they were disabled before the last update and - as I said - everything worked fine before magic UI 4.0 arrived.
Oddly enough, I can see widevine-protected content without any problems on the external screen, if I use simple mirroring rather than desktop mode (audio is muted, but I can still hear it if I plug in a pair of headphones or an external speaker to the smartphone).
Very strange indeed, don't you think?
