So, I've realised that when you change the ISO in manual mode, either because of a Sony policy to do so (this is my first sony phone) or because of a bug, the change in ISO is not reflected on your screen/viewfinder.
You have to wait until the photo has been taken before finding out whether the right iso was high/low enough. On samsung galaxy and lumia phones, when you change the iso the viewfinder adjusts to give you an idea of what the photo is going to look like in terms of exposure.
Thoughts?
It's not just you, I've also noticed that behavior.
Same thing here.Weird...I only use Superior-Auto mode...doesn't affect me at all. But strange how Sony did such a bad app for this phone
Today i noticed the same. When iso is 50 photo is very dark. In superior mode iso bumps in low light. I think that bug will be never fixed... Very sad

Taking pictures in dark conditions LIKE A PRO
One of the main tip when taking pictures in dark conditions (and you have all the time in the world) is: DON'T BE LAZY!
The professional mode allow us to take more realistic pictures than using the lazy AUTO mode.
As you can see in the pictures below, the AUTO mode also generates some yellow filters due to high ISO or HDR+ usage.
Method: Decreasing the ISO as much as possible, and raising the exposure... leaving the mobile extremely still while taking the pic.
This is perfect for outside / inside shots, landscape, etc.
The results are outstanding and you can quickly compare the results against the AUTO mode (maybe useful for family - friends quick pictures)
Take your own conclusions.
If you have tripod or anything to make your phone sit stable without moving choose 10s shutter speed and play with iso. If iso 50 and 10s shutter speed make picture too bright, lower shutter speed. If everything is OK now you can play with other options. That's all i guess.
So yeah always try to make photos with lowest iso by increasing shutter speed (or decreasing i should say) .

I've been looking for a mod to increase the headphones volume of my Z1C. I've found a lot, for various Xperias, Android versions, with various settings. Some where over-increasing the volume, to the point of distorting it. Having in mind that using a mod for another Xperia (even similar with Z1C) or another Android version, might have a negative impact to other aspects of the devices audio, I decided to make my own tweak!
So, after a lot of search and testing, I tweaked and modded my mixer_paths.xml from the last Z1C firmware (.236), to have the max possible headphones volume with no audio distortion at all. That is accomplished by raising the values of HPHs to the max (20), while the values of RXs were slightly raised only by 3 (to 85, which is the max value for no distortion I think). The result is awesome! No, other sound mods needed! Just the Sony sound enhancements, which I think are the best out there, having in mind Sony's experience on sound systems. Boom bass and crystal clear tremble! Just try and see!
More technical detail can be found here:
[Guide + Technical Explanation] Boost the headset volume without losing qualit by Elements1984
A big thanks to Elements1984 for this great guide!
To the point now. How to install:
Requirements: Root
Instructions:
1. Take a backup of the existing mixed_paths.xml file in system/etc folder!
2. Replace it with the attached one.
3. If necessary, set its permissions to 644.
4. Reboot.
5. Enjoy and don't forget to hit "Thanks"!!!
P.S.1 This will probably be suitable for Z1 too, since they are (almost?) hardware identical. May work with other Xperias or Android versions too, but try it at your own risk! . After all, there's not much risk if you take a backup of your mixer_paths.xml.
P.S.2 Have in mind that volume and overall sound has to do a lot with the headphones quality.
Amazing, that is what i looking for. Great job! Awesome.
Z1c Destrikerz1 work great

Sorry mate but I'm not sure whether this can be made through the mixer_paths file. It may, but I haven't digged that much into it. I'd suggest, setting your EQ accordingly (Clear Bass to the max, and 400Hz to the max too in the Sony EQ) OR buy a better pair of headphones. That has to do a lot with it. Messing a lot with the mixer_paths without being sure of what you do may give you the opposite results and spoil the sound quality.
Hi
Great work, thank so much.
Sent from my D5503 using XDA Premium HD app
Can somebody send me as good as possible photo of rear Moto Z Play camera. (close up of rear camera with sensors and leds). After change of broken rear glass on camera in service point. My Moto made unsharp images, looks like autofocus don't work. Maybe service did smth. wrong.

I can't make a photo of my rear camera but I can tell you to try another camera app, in all the roms out there for this device the default camera app in my case can hardly focus how it should and it doesnt make sharp and clear photos, so I though it was my camera glass (and maybe it is) but after trying Oneplus Camera I could do very nice photos!! There wans't any problem with the autofocus or something else. So maybe you could give it a try

Yeah I got it from a Magisk Module named Oxy-ify
Link here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/oxy-ify-magisk-module-add-oxygen-os-t3888094
I found picture , but not from real phone ... I think my sensors on the left side of lens are blocked or damaged : /
Problem fixed at service point - that was their fault I think . Uff ... using old Xperia M (Dot OS 7.1.2) was a painfull experience .

I think u have no idea or u just don't record..
In my work i record at least 2 movies a day, one in 4k and one in full HD 60 FPS. I dont see any differents in quality watching films from 9.1 and 10 on 50 inch tv.

This is Huawei, like on my 20X they destroy speaker after update.
Well by one tap before i could set the zoom easily now i have to shift the slider multiple times to get the required zoom, there is also a pink/purple shadow only visible in camera while shooting under specific light settings but not visble in taken photos, other than that dont notice anything different, ah one second there is much glare and halo around lights now in all auto settings and to get perfect photos i have to manually set the exposure
Hi,
Is there any apps built for Note 10 + utilizing its ToF camera ?
I am specifically looking for an app that would apply a green scree effect without an actual green screen behind the object.
is there any such app ?
Or other useful ToF apps ?
3D scanner (other than the original one) ?
Interesting.
Doubt it has the processing power to do pseudo green screening. Be cool if it could.
One thing I have noticed with the cam is it's zone metering which works surprisingly well.
Wonder how many zones it has?
Are there "white papers" for this cam? Never saw any.
actually it does higher cpu intensive jobs. so I am sure it would do it if someone had the interest to work on it.
maybe it wouldn't be perfect but it would work for amateur requirements.
I package block ARcore. It was a power hog just sitting there.
It was half baked when released, after the second update it was still being a power pig. Not sure about now.
Keep an eye on it.
I guess this topic is not interesting for many ?
Not green screen, but there is a app called ToF Viewer and you can use it in the darkness to see what's around you.
