[Q] Downgrade from 4.3 to 4.2.1?

Hello!
I was wondering if its possible to downgrade back to 4.2.1 from 4.3. In download mode, I see that they have added Knox to the bootloader. Every time I try to flash the 4.2.1 .md5.tar file via Odin. Its says: Unsupported Version.
Any insight would be appreciated!

Try and download different file make sure all properties match ur device configuration download from sammobile is recomended

as far i can see, and you witnesed first hand, the knox stuff remains logged there and you cat do anything about it....i suggest stop trying to downgrade before smth bad happens (knock on wood).....and just wait for a 4.3 custom rom, that comes with its own files to download and flash

I have a similar question that probably no one asked before, as I couldn't find any similar thread.
I have a back up rom of rooted 4.1.2 stock rom, which back up by Philz Touch.
Once I flashed 4.3 custom rom, is it safe to restore my 4.1.2 rooted stock rom backup from the 4.3 custom rom? Another question is, once I flashed any 4.3 custom rom, can I flash 4.1.2 custom roms from after that without any problem?
To make things clear, I will never go back original, unrooted 4.1.2 stock rom or try to flash a original unrooted 4.3 stock rom.
I sincerely hope someone can explain to me, because I dare not to try to flash any 4.3 custom rom until now.

In my knowledge, yes. Always make a nandroid backup before doing anything you're not sure of. But yes, you can as long as u restore your backup with the same recovery u backed up in.

You'll have to root it first. If u are using n7100, here u go. If you're using n7105, sorry to say, but no hope for u. http://www.theandroidsoul.com/root-galaxy-note-2-on-android-4-3-firmware-and-removes-knox-too/
After rooting, flash stock 4.1.2 or 4.1.2 ROM.

Yea haha, I wanted to have a look at 4.3 but silly me forgot to see what's new! I should have tried the Lion rom.

Wifi not working HELP ME PLEASE!!

Hy,
i have a big problem, after flashing my S4 mini to stock firmware wifi cant switch on, i already tried to reflash with other version of firmware, i came
back to my original firmware, i tried also some trick suggested like to remove the battery but nothing, i still cant enable wifi.
Please Help me, there is some solution on this?

reflash same stock firmware 2 or 3 times
Your baseband does not update and then u don`t have wifi

Ok i tried also this but nothing, there is not some kind of fix for this problem? what i can do more?

Please somebody can help me? I am out of my country at the moment so i cant use 3G connection i have only wifi and is not working....i am looking around the web but i cant find nothing for my problem......

You must flash the modem too, after you did flash the rom first.

Firmware I9195XXUBML4. The baseband version is I9195XXUAMF9
Is normale that the firmware and the baseband are different version?

So, you must download and flash Modem-i9195XXUBML4.

no, dont work the baseband version is still the same......
any other suggestion?

Very strange... I did this think a couple of times and it worked. I had that Wi-Fi issue, too. I flashed the modem two times and it was fine.

i am trying with CM10.2, i found some people that solve the problem like this...
update: with CM10.2 wifi is working..very strange!! now i try to flash the new modem and restore the previous sotck firmware...
update1: nothing with stock firmware wifi is still not working!!

Please you have other idea how to solve my problem? I dont want stay with CM rom, i prefer stock fw for the moment.....

unfortunately i already tried with this version also with older, i tried also with some brand version of my country but nothing change, the problem is that during flash the baseband version never change and i dont understand why......

try flashing a different kernel my friend. keep your stock firmware but flash a different kernel. hope it will work for you as it did for me...

How do i restock the gt-n5110 so i can sell it

I have been all over these forums searching for a way to restock my note 8.0 wifi so i can sell it online. anyone got a link on how to. i cant find anything anywhere and I have been at this for hours. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A flash of the full firmware will get you back to 100% stock 4.1. If you have flashed a 4.4 bootloader this won't work you will have to find stock 4.4 files for your device

Thanks for your fast reply. ONe of the problems i am having is that i cant past recovery. I have that philz recovery installed but i cant boot into my rom. I can only get recovery and download mode

When I flash in odin, is the latest firmware EVERYTHING I need to flash in odin. I dont care if it has root or not. If I flash the latest 4.4.2 firmware, will that be the recovery, 'rom', bootloader, everything i need?

The full image is all you need but if your on a 4.4.2 bootloader don't flash the link I sent because it won't work you will have to find a stock full 4.4.2 image to flash. My link is 4.1 full image

I gotcha I am doing the 4,000 hour download of the new firmware now. Ill let you know how it turned out. Thanks for your help!

Thanks man. The update FINALLY finished downloading ad all went well. It's good to see it back to normal again LOL. I wont be rooting it. Its gonna get sold as is on stock KK firmware.
I hate it too because I really like this tab. :/

I have Googled the internet and searched this site for the latest firmware for my phone and with varying results. I ether get a different variant of the Note 2 or some off the wall site wanting to DL some wierd software first.
Does anyone have a link for the SCH-I317 4.4.2 firmware or the 4.3 firmware and then I can do the over the air update?

It will be awhile b4 that happens the latest firmware right now is 4.1.2 you either can flash the stock rom via odin or can down grade to 4.1.1 and do the ota to 4.4 that way there is a thread below on how to go from 4.1.1 to 4.3 ill post the link in a bit

Have a problem after frim update GT 9195

Hello . Yesterday my samsung galaxy s4 mini GT-9195 is working fine . But today , i power on , and recieve message " 1 of 15 apps are updating", after update , the phone is restart , and is not loading - freezing on samsung galaxy s4 mini GT9195 logo . I dont know whats happen . I download a bulgarian frimware from sammobile , and i install it without error , and when it restarted it's freeze , after i restarted in recovery menu giving me again error . I don't remember what version on android i have before it spoils . I try with 4.4.2 , but without success , then i update with 4.2.2 , but the same . Please help me .

Can you try to flash 4 files stock rom via Odin?

I try only with stock rom's from sammobile . Where can i find other files ? Thanks !

Try to flash latest 4.4.2(find it in sammobile) rom with Phone Bootloader Update setting ticked in Odin.

I can't find rom wiht Bootloader , maybe the rom's on sammobile they have built bootloader .
