here, i'm porting Joyos 1.1.9 from lg optimus one by h3nr1qu3

feature:
- iOS inteface
- New file manager
- Custom ringtones chooser;
- Different status bar animation when a notification appears;
- Number of displayed contacts on contacts app has increased;
- Option to delete multiple contacts at once;
- Option to add songs to an existing playlist;
- everything works
- Can be definitely used as daily ROM.
Bugs :
setting on camera
instalation:
1. download the rom
2. boot into CWM
3. do full wipe
4. go to instal from sdcard and select update-JOYOS119_gio_signet.zip
5. reboot n enjoy

The bug is problably taken from cm7 forum or something, as the camera problably also is..

I am chinese,one of our dev finish it without any bugs.(except bln)
This ui is made by chinese too,and it only has chinese and english as you guess.

why porting from LG Optimus?
porting from C8650 directly will be better.
and there is one bug with the original camera on JOYOS , which makes the images getting from the camera rotate 90 degrees.
you can use the camera on CM7.2 by phiexz instead of the camera on JOYOS.

as for the button backlight problem , I suggest disabling backlight completely.
use Root Explorer,
open the file "/sys/calss/leds/button-backlight" with "Open in Text Editor"
change the original value to num "0" , save the file
and then change the permissions of this file as:

√××
∨××
Stock headset works.

how to change icon:
1. open the rom using winrar/7zip
2. go to system/app
3. find n open joy launcher.apk
4. go to res folder n open it
5. open folder "drawable-mdpi"
6. copy icon you want to use n paste in this folder "drawable-mdpi"
*before copying the icon make sure the name of the icon must be "theme_qualwin_style_.......png"
ex if u want to change browser icon, the name for ur icon must be "theme_qualwin_style_browser.png"
lol this is a port, that is very buggy and not for daily use

First of all cheers for the fisrst technoduos rom.
I installed v1.0 on my android , however as there is no gtalk application made me disappointed.
It would be helpful if someone can help me by guiding me with innstructions to install google talk app on my phone

I tried installing talk.apk file in system/apps folder and changed file permission to read, write and execute for all the three , ie owner, group , others.
I rebooted the phone and when i tried to lauch the talk app, it crashes - i get the error message as "
" SORRY
The application Talk (process com.google.android.talk) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. " -> FORCE CLOSE
i checked the permissions for other apps and changed the permission as
Owner - read, write
Group - read
Other - read
I still get the same error
Please advice...
btw i have only flashed technoduos rom 1.0
i havent flashed the custom kernel
i havent updated to technoduos 1.1

1. I lost All Data
2. I lost My SD Card (Its Empty Just Like The Brand New SD)
No Data, No Partition, SD Volume becoming 1GB from 16GB
3. GTalk Not Running, only Stop in Blank Window...

Gmail came preinstalled with technoduos rom and working
One more flaw discovered, office suite preinstalled on technoduos rom crashes whenever i open a pdf file. This was not the case with stock rom

same prob i had... i had uninstalled using es explorer *rooted* app manager... but when i needed it back, my backup of talk.apk didnt work..
so i tried many other online talk apks files... but they all gave problems like force close after it tries to load chat window of any contact i click..
but when i read your problem and replies i got an idea.. Uninstall bugged talk app if u have currently installed ..then just copy talk.apk file which u had backup earlier before uninstalling into /system/app/ folder which worked like a charm for me...!! remember u need talk.odex file with talk.apk file inside /system/app/ folder for this to work... but there may be other better ways to make it work.. but this solved my issue
i have both file and if u still having this issue i can upload those 2 files and 'll give u link... pm me if u need it.

Gtalk Not showing android Symbol (ROBOT) Status

I am using technoduos 1.5 , and I observed that when i am online in mobile the Gtalk status is green. and with another gmail(friends id). I have checked that
I am showing online as i am logged in PC.
The android (Robot symbol) is not coming .

i just tried the rom...everything was fine n smooth
still the major prob is u cant access the fkin keyboard~
Its getting hard to download as d internet is getting disconnected in between n d download is not resumeable so if u or anybody else can upload it to somewhere else then it ll be great as i tried 3 times to download but failed.

I just tested and has no keyboard, I can not write anything, I can not log onto wifi I can not set my apn and do not think the system is 4.0.4 I think it is just a 2.3.5. begins as a MIUI, but it has nothing in it, but instead has holo launcer but not holo locker. rom is good but needs work

there are no ring tones available under Android system. I had to take ringtones from SD card

Hi, i get an arror "App Not Installed" with both ODEX & DE-ODEX versions. can u please help me out as i wanna replace my gmail app with this one (lets me have accounts other than .. @gmail.com ) I'm on DModv6 (android 4.1.2)

no worries, guys. i made it work by copy/pasting the two apks in "system/app" Thanks for the APKs thought :cookie:
The First Link was the ODEXED ones which Means it is the original,pure original and not modified..
The Second Link was the DE-ODEXED, which is modified, you can search the topics using the search button why de-odexed..
The installation of this files are not Normal installation but you need to go to "system/app" folder like what koragg97 has done and set permissions to r-w-r-r..

Google Voice Search is not related to Whatsapp, that means voice recording could have got broken in newer version of Whatsapp (assuming it worked fine before). Try downloading an older version and see what it does.
Else, a logcat of that instance could help too, just simulate a voice recording while debugging so i can figure out (or at least imagine) what's causing the problem.
About media server, what are the problems you're experiencing?

I didnt have download the rom but maybe look Inside system/etc/init.d maybe there is a Script Inside too kill the Mediaserver

Inside that folder has 5 files: 90userinit, 10hostapconfig, 10dhcpcd, 00userinit, 00banner.
what should I do?

Delete all of them ( make Backup first) and reboot and look about media server

Even with the tips, media server is only activating, most can not complete the process ..
