-OTA UPDATES-
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.
IMPORTANT: If you come from another ROM, have some issues or want a really clean installation then follow the 'Extended steps to install the ROM' featured on the General FAQ

Looks great. I will try this ROM and report back.
EDIT: everything seems to be running nice; I've had no major issues so far.
A few points:
-The nav is enabled by default, but can be easily hidden.
-The ROM was running in "Strict Mode," thus constantly drawing a red frame across the screen (here's how to fix that, the alternate build.prop method worked).
@B3L13V3 there aren't too many differences between the GPE rom and this - though, the most notable ones include the kernel, the built-in tweaks, and the clean and very well placed user interface that adds a little flavor to the regular AOSP one. S-View will be gone, too.

What about all the Samsung features like smart stay s beam and all of those?
I am a veteran modder and flasher, having lots of issues I really want to keep this rom. I did the red frame fixes but they still sneak in. It freezes often. texts do not go through. scrolling is super slow. Just pointing it out want to keep but have to move to something more stable for now.

I did the strict mode mod 2 the build prop one and developer options. Still getting the red border problem. This ROM is nice but I can't even play jungle heat on it. Keep getting forceclosed.

This rom is off the mu tha eef uew chain! Only thing I've caught so far is resur updater says rom not compatible. Besides that thus far man i don't even know im generally not at a loss for words..keep it up devs!

I came off TW rom and wanted something different this week and saw this one, and love it. I like this rom as my KitKat rom because its a bit different than ALL other kitkat roms. I wish that I can theme the dialer the way the UI on this rom is. I also wish to change icons instead of loading a launcher. I don't want any more launchers just the what the rom gives me. Great job on this rom.

Loving this rom so far. Best KitKat rom I tried so far. Had a couple of random reboots happen but, by far, most of the features I like work flawlessly. Will stick with it until my S5 arrives.
Loving the rom but I can't get mobile data to connect at all. Should I try differnt kernel or is there something i'm missing in settings?
Never seen a ROM with more features than touchwiz..... I like it! [emoji7]
Please say you will continue s3 support after the s5 because I'm stuck with mine for the next 2 years lol.

I'm getting ridiculous battery life with this ROM Still no complaints so far.
Love this ROM! Does anyone know how to get a gallery like touch wiz? Hate how open source gallery isn't in alphabetical order. Is there some setting I'm overlooking?

Anyone else having this issue? Have data on fresh install and then it disappears. Have to reinstall with a full wipe to get it back and it's gone within an hour.

I haven't had any data issues at all. I can't test LTE because coverage is horrible where I am.
I've had one FC yesterday when I double-tapped the Home button when it was sleeping.

Same here. No LTE connection and 3G drops a lot.
Fantastic ROM. Super smoother and everything seems to be working. Clean install, lte, mms, all working correctly and sticking through multiple reboots. Really enjoying all the extras.

I don't have any FCs so far. I only get soft reboot and after that i got SystemUI fc and i had to pull battery but i remember it happened for me on other ROMs as well.
im on Fancy kernel and i didnt have any reboots or FC so far.
I know that lot of ROMs have problem with reboots because new CM theme engine

- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset
- Flash ROM using latest ClockworkMod recovery
- Flash Gapps

- Flash ROM using ClockworkMod recovery

- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik cache

-OTA UPDATES-
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.
IMPORTANT: If you come from another ROM, have some issues or want a really clean installation then follow the 'Extended steps to install the ROM' featured on the General FAQ

just tried it on mine. works like a charm, one thing though. when doing some particular touches. there is a red square that flashes on the edges of the screen. is that supposed to happen? if so how do i turn it off?

can confirm with @noremac258 re-flashed this rom and had the red flash border again, ticking as well as unticking strict mode has no affect on the flashing red boarder

the issue i was talking about is that the strict mode was not ticked when the box was flashing after a fresh flash. the build.prop fix fixed this. but ticking/unticking strict mode and rebooting after each had no affect on it. this is a small bug that should be fixed. adding the build.prop fix to the build should be fine. thank you for your help

as a stock option in the rom, i am not sure. there is definitely ways to do it through xposed though.

I like this ROM because it's pretty stable and comes with a bunch of features, but it seems to be lacking in the performance / battery life categories. Looking forward to future updates!
i dont suppose there is a chance to get a safestrap version of this ROM is there? im a massive RR fan after running it on my S2 for a few months, i'd love to be able to run it on my S4 but would require a safestrap variant.

You can use Trickster app for enable s2w.
I get a android.process.media error on this even after a clean flash. Can't use camera. I'm loving this ROM on my s3 and what kernel would you recommend?
I think kernel included in this rom is recommended for running this rom. It's optimized for this rom.
If for customer kernel, you can use lyapota kernel, next kernel or faux kernel.

Maybe I'll stick to ROM kernel. Just need a battery efficient CPU governor. BTW I got the error fixed

Running smooth with art, cause other rom after enbaled art will feel some lag , but this rom won't!!
So flashed this rom as my third rom besides sense and carbon!

I like the fact that it is pre-themed in a way. Although I don't like the progress bar colours
But I love the pitch black version with the red accents! Great. :good:
It feels really snappy and with smooth animations.I Like them.
The lockscreen wallpaper option in settings - resurrection tools or from theme chooser give FC.
Other than that I haven't seen anything yet.
But I just flashed it minutes ago.

Best looking ROM I've tried for me so far :good:. But I guess it's only me who has lags when tapping dots to go to Apps from Home screen. And I had 1 crash when I put it to dock at car. :silly:

This is awesome rom i have ever seen compare to all other roms but i found two problem/Cons(whatever you say)
1.Music hangs/stops for sometime(in ms) when you press home button(soft and hard button both)
2.Mobile gets hot very soon..

1. is there a way of extending home screen for more than 4 rows and 4 columns (Rosie 4X4)? (goes the same for dock view).
2. is there a way of changing alarm clock built in widget font color, besides plain white color?
3. how do i make menu button to go to phones regular settings by one short click, instead of its default going to home screen settings (themes, widgets & wallpaper)?
