I've just installed a stock ROM through recovery mode but it failed. Then I restarted my phone and it got stuck at boot screen. I tried to turn it off but it restars automatically and gets stuck at boot screen again. How can I fix it? Every help is appreciated!

So, I was continuously getting com.phone.Android process FC in CM7, so I decided to flash VirtuousROM on my Z.
I flashed the ROM, but since then the phone is stuck at the HTC boot logo.
I tried to boot into recovery mode by re-inserting the battery and putting the phone on charge. However, instead of recovery mode, the phone got stuck at the same HTC logo.
So, how do I manually boot into the recovery mode on my Z? What are the key combo?
I don't have access to a PC, so please don't suggest using ADB.

To manually get in to recovery hold volume down and power, this will take you to the bootloader where you can select recovery.

I just performed a factory reset (stock rom, nothing modified) re downladed some app, than froze and got stuck in bootloader mode. When I press recovery freezes again and nothing happens. 2 green arrows in round shape come up for a few seconds and dies... What to do?
Try flashing a custom recovery like clockworkmod through fastboot (taken your bootloader is S-OFF) then install a custom rom again through the recovery.
might be a bad download
check the md5 sum of the file and compare it to the one given by the dev
then try reflashing it
Hey!
I decided to install a new custom ROM. I went from Revolution HD and tried Viper v2.0, after installing it, my phone has been refusing to boot. (I used Revolution HD Super wipe before installing Viper v2.0) It freezes at "htc quietly brilliant" and stays there and doesnt do anything. Ive jumped into bootloader several times, first i tried the obvious and start Recovery. But everytime I press recovery i can see the "Clockwork recoverymode" for about 0.5 seconds, then some sort of loading and then it reboots and goes back to the startup screen and stays there. Ive alos tried the factory reset, but that didnt work either, so now im wondering what to do and im a little worried.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks alot!

Yes, i flashed the boot.img.
When i type "fastboot erase cache" I only get < waiting for device >
And ye, my phone booted about twice, i got to the lock screen i tried to unlock, then it froze and died.
Have you chosen the fastboot option in the boot loader, plugged in the usb before trying to talk to your phone with fastboot?

This problem happened to me a while back, it causes due to cache getting accumulated, fastboot erase cache got my CMW recovery working again..
i dont know why isnt it working in your case..
And about ROM not booting looks like boot.img problem, i hope u made a nandroid

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem here with one of my friends phones. He's running a CM 11 Nightly from a week or two ago and the latest CWM recovery. The other night he woke up to his phone being turned off and upon trying to turn it on, could not get past the Samsung logo. After trying a couple of times he got to his home screen and 30 seconds later the phone shut off and began to bootloop again. I have tried numerous times to get it into download or recovery mode but nothing seems to work. Every time it gets to the Samsung logo it goes black and repeats. I don't know what else to try to fix this so any ideas will help.
-Thanks
Try going into recovery and then do a factory rest

Wipe cache, dalvik, and data in recovery before booting into the ROM.

I cannot get into recovery or download mode. It flashes the samsung logo, turns black, and flashes the logo again in am endless loop.
If the button combination can't get you to download or recovery, get a USB jig to get into download mode.
My phone wasn't recognizing my sim card after trying to update my CM11. I decided to install my stock rom and now when I boot my phone it is stuck on the Samsung logo. I've tried researching tons of forums and can't seem to find a solution. Also, when I try to enter recovery mode, it says recovery manual <3e> ?? Have I completely screwed my phone up?

What version of ROM were you on and what stock ROM are you trying to flash ?
Is download mode working ? Are you trying to flash it via ODIN ?
I was using cm-11-20150101-NIGHTLY-t0lte nightly and tried to update to CM12. That apparently messed my phone up to where I had to revert back to CM11. When doing this, my phone came on, booted up, and was useable, but wouldn't recognize my sim card. So I thought I would try and flash my stock rom and that apparently just bricked my phone altogether. I can access my download mode but my custom recovery is gone and when I do enter recovery mode it's the manual recovery with a <3e>??
If stock recovery is working then wipe data/factory reset and then flash stock ROM via ODIN.

What @ciphercodes meant to say was that, whiles stuck on the samsung logo, take out the battery, put back and long press home + power+ vol up buttons together to get into stock recovery and wipe/reset data...and reboot...thats all
