Anybody know an alternative bluetooth hands free car kit that I can plug into my car's AUX port that has aptX? I live in Australia so it's expensive here. Preferably something I can buy from eBay.

Hi!
I'm looking for a combined car charger and FM-transmitter which works with the HTC Magic. What I want is one which connects with the device using only one (usb-)cable.
Can anyone help me out, please? I've been looking all over without any success.
All the best,
Fredrik
you can buy plenty of adaptors which connect to extusb
and got miniusb and 3.5mm minijack
and then you can connect the fm transmitter which
normally use 3.5mm minijack to one connector and
a car charger to the miniusb

Whats A2DP?
Does it look like a headphone jack on your phone? You can buy double male ended cables and try that. I got one from a local store for $2, so if it doesn't work, who cares it was cheap anyway.
Hi!
I have the Toyota corolla 2008 with a built in radio that doesn't have usb or 3.5mm.
I want to buy an FM transmitter so I can play music from my Galaxy s3 in the car.
Do you recommend any specific one?
I prefer it will be charged from the lighter in the car, and if possible, to charge my phone as well.
Thanks!
I had one from wall mart it was only 13 bucks it works decently but no matter which one you get there will always be a little static. I personally can't stand static so I just installed a head unit.

Car stereo's with built in Bluetooth and AUX inputs can be found for as little as $80 on sale these days. But I can understand if that is out of your budget.
Best thing to do is go to www.amazon.com and do a search for what you're looking for. Then sort the results by user reviews. Then read some reviews to see if you find what will meet your needs.
If I had any experience with the FM transmitters, I'd offer advice. But I have none to give. Sorry.
I drive a 2005 Toyota Matrix, which is very close to your car. I use this kit and works perfectly. I also use a set of rca spltters to have an open 3.5mm input (in-case i need to connect another deivce) and an iBolt dock's 3.5mm hard wired behind the dash for a dedicated connection for my S3
I have an 04 Mazda 6 (Atenza for you Europeans) with a built in radio. My solution was to hook up a Parrot mki 9200 to the radio for Bluetooth (and aux, USB, or pre iPhone 5 connector).
Hi guys, I’ve just bought myself a new car with Bluetooth handsfree built in.
Unfortunately this is handsfree only and doesn’t support audio streaming… .
I’m fitting an aftermarket solution to run an aux cable into the head unit but I’d rather have a Bluetooth connection.
So my question is, if I put a Bluetooth audio receiver on the end of the aux cable will I be able to connect my note 2 to both the Honda Bluetooth for calls and the Bluetooth audio receiver (don’t know which one to buy yet, simultaneously?
Would really appreciate your help with this one!
