Garbled phone call problem - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have had this issue through many different ROMS and it's been bothering me for awhile. It isn't at a certain point into a call its completely random but once it starts I only hear weird noises through my earpiece, however the person on the other end can still hear my voice. I'm able to say "hey its doing the alien noise thing again, i'll hang up and call right back". Once I hang up and call back its fine. Sometimes it will do it again, other times it doesn't. Does anybody else with a s3 have the same issure?
I'm not even sure where to go with the problem. I've tried different modems, ROMS, full wipe, clear cache, and nothing seems to help.

[Q] Beeping in and after call when 3G data on

This is driving me up the freakin wall. I've searched everywhere and haven't found anything to resolve the issue.
I usually use speaker phone when making calls, but recently began actually holding it up to my ear only to find that I keep getting beeps in the earpiece. It sounds like the beep when you place a call and it's ringing, but it keeps going during the call. What's worse, it continues even after hanging up. The only way I can get it to stop is by force closing the phone app and re-entering my SIM pincode.
I thought it was due to something I had installed and wiped my phone and reinstalled things one by one. Doing so I ruled out the applications I use. After testing on various roms (to see if it's rom related), I've realized that I can reliably replicate it by simply turning off wifi, forcing the data connection to go live on 3G and then making a call.
Anybody seen or heard of this before? The beeping is limited to the earpiece and can barely be heard when not held up to the ear, but when you do it's good and loud.

i doubt its anything to do with 3g as your desire will automatically disable any mobile data connection whilst in a call

[Q] In call audio problem (not mic cut-out)?

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I tried searching for the problem but it appears that most of the results that come up regarding in call audio issues were the microphone cutting out.
However, the problem i've been experiencing is for long phone calls with my gf, the audio that i hear on the receiving end seems to go in and out. What i mean is, the call will start out normally and everything sounds crystal clear, but after maybe 20 min, my gf begins to sounds really muffled as if she were talking to her phone from across the room instead of having the phone against her face. After a while the audio becomes loud and clear again.
She claims to hear me fine throughout the call, but it becomes almost impossible to make out what she's saying even on max volume (with and without the headphones too). Im not sure if it's an issue with my phone or hers (an iPhone 4s). I've had this issue on 4.0.2, and 4.0.4. I'm now running AOKP's 4.0.3 ROM and the problem still persists. Any help anyone? this is really annoying, esp for a long distance relationship!

There's no sound when picking up a call.

I am able to make calls, my phone is very much in solid order for everything else. I have reset the factory settings, and switched from a 4.1 AOSP rom to a 4.2 Beanstalk rom to no avail. Whenever somebody calls me, I can see them calling me, and it rings... but as soon as I pick it up, I don't hear anything on the other side. Not a single thing.
This has been a real problem for the last couple weeks.
Anybody know what's the problem here? If I make a call, everything is fine, it's just receiving it that's bad. A factory reset and flashing new roms and kernels (lightning zap) made no difference.
Try flashing back to stock everything, if it still does it, I would guess it's hardware.
Can you listen to voicemails? Can you get any sound play through the speaker?

Voice Calls sometimes get garbled and distorted?

Even when I have full signal and LTE I'll sometimes hear the other people on the line sound so garbled fading in and out that I miss a couple words here and there. Anyone else ever experience this intermittently? I've had it happen four times the past two days
yes im having that problem too every time i receive a call, they say i sound like robot, but when i call back is not, i disable wifi calling but not solve that

note 2 neither earpiece nor mic work while in a call...

the title says it all... when a play a song it plays fine...when i record sound it records/plays back fine but when in a call i can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear me...there is no static...no other sounds just silence...im stumped... ive booted into safe mode with the same problem
Did you mute the call?
no sir...it happens every time i call it or make a call from it
Well there are many factors as to why this is happening (hardware, some app that messes up your calls, etc.). But if you are running a custom ROM then I wont be suprised. Its simply a bug.
I suggest you Google for "no sound during call android" and try out the many proposed solutions at the given sites. If you lost hope, just go and see a service center.
