tried to make a reboot by holding power button + volume up for few seconds ?

If nothing works, you can always use flashtool.
Restore the phone to stock ROM, make sure you download the ftf of your region!
All the best :good:

Did you push the yellow button on the left side in the SIM/MicroSD Card compartment until the phone vibrated 3 times. 3 times is necessary for a reset.

I would try the Yellow button to do a full reset, 3 vibrations.
Also, if nothing is charging or detecting, it could mean your charging slot is faulty.. And your phone is completely discharged so it can't power on. Don't know, just an assumption.

It happened to me. Push the yellowbutton until vibrates 3 times, at first it will vibrate once but keep pushing. Reinstall the .ftf via flashtools and have a nice day.

pressing the yellow button had always worked for me when i thought it was bricked....but the other day after a failed kernel install, just pressing the yellow button did not work! after trying a few times, i finally tried holding the power button at the same time as the yellow button. it worked and vibrated once, then three times as normal. after that i connected to my pc and used flashtool.

Ion LT28at is completely dead.

I was going to flash the LT28i firmware on my LT28at just to check it out. I had flashtool ready to go but it wasn't detecting my phone. It wouldn't get past the pop-up that said to power off and hold the back button. (I pressed the volume down for the Ion while plugging the cable in) I exited flashtool and gave up since it really wasn't too big of a deal, I was happy with the stock firmware.
Here I am now and the phone appears to be completely dead. There is no LED when I plug it in to the charger and no vibrations or LEDs when I hold the power button. It still shows up in the device manager when I press the volume down as seen in the attachment but then I'm back to not having a driver. For the record, the only thing I had done was root the phone, my bootloader is locked. I don't know what on earth could have happened but I am positive that flashtool did not even start flashing when I exited it. I don't know what to do next. I already checked out this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170 but nothing seems to be working. Thanks for the help. I apologize if this is in the wrong section.
Edit: I installed the Flashmode driver via the installer in the flashtool folder. One of the flashtool guides is based on an older version and states something like "install the XXX_ADB driver in the drivers folder of flashtool." I don't have that and the Ion isn't in the list of device drivers in the installer. See the attachment.
Edit2: The battery was around 77% when I started.

Plug it into the wall charger and let it sit for awhile (might be a long while) until you get the red LED. It might take a day or so but it should come back to life. You can try flashing then. If that doesn't work let it charge longer. I had to let mine go two days then finally got the green led and could flash again. Look at the soft brick recovery thread for more info.

Before you wait all that time, try this. Hold the volume up button and the power button at the same time. The phone will vibrate once, keep holding until it vibrates 3 more times. Now you should be able to try flashing again. Worked for me.

[HELP]Xperia S absolutely blank[BRICK]

Hi guys,
I was working on a fix for my rom. I made it, went to CWM and flashed it. Then rebooted and evrything was absolutely fine. Then I rebooted into to wipe cache and dalvik cache and did both successfully. When I rebooted, my phone got stuck at SONY logo. I held the volume up and power button for around 5 sec but the phone did not vibrate once. It did not vibrate at all. Instead the SONY logo slowly disappeared and the phone went to a blank screen( NOT powered off ). Then it automatically powered off. Then I tried flashmode, no luck. Nothing for fastboot too. Trying to power on/soft-reset/hard-reset is of no use. The phone does nothing.
I checked the soft brick thread . It said that hard reset will lock up the phone until the battery dies. But I did not do a hard reset at all.
Any help will be appreciated.
EDIT:- Flashtool says that phone is connected with USB debugging off. Nothing happens when I connect my phone to a wall charger too.
Thanks,
abcdjdj

The guide says that after charging for some time, the red led should appear. But my phone had around 80% charge when this incident occured. Anyway, I have kept it for wall-charging now.[NO LED light appears - nothing just blank]
if charging does not help , letting the battery die out might bring the fone out of bootloop

I had a similar problem. I rebooted my phone after wiping system, and the phone just showed a black blank screen. I just held VolUP+VolDOWN and then held Power too. After, I felt a vibration and released the buttons and the phone rebooted so I could get back to recovery TWRP. There I used adb to solve the problem.
Maybe you should just wait to your phone completly discharge... And then charge again.

You must have actually pressed vol up+power only. One vibration means a soft-reset. Yes, I am waiting for the phone to get completely discharged. Following this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33032165&postcount=2
" You need to leave the phone on a charger to see when the battery dies. " That's what I am doing. Thanks for your help.
Has anyone tried this tool - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173363
Also, are there any other tools which can completely rebuild the bootloader and all other partitions?
There is a Qualcomm tool for your device, u tried that?

Pressing once does not turn it on. You need to hold it down for few seconds, til it vibrates. Then you can release it.
I do this but wont power on. I dont know why.

Xperia Ion (LT28at) needs URGENT help!

I tried to flash the Generic JB firmware on it yesterday and caused it to completely brick.
Is there an easy way to fix this? My laptop recognizes it as "SEMC Flash Device" but other than that the phone will not turn on, will not charge (no LED), or even reboot while pressing (volume key).
Is my phone busted? Someone please help me restore this, I have no other phone to use, and really need to get this fixed.

You should really listen to the advice given and read all the stuff in the first two post of the linked thread. All of the answers are there for you. For a L28at the rubber band trick looks like a great option. But you must plug your phone in to your wall charger and leave it alone. If you mess with it before it starts looping it will only take you longer to get it going again.
It happen with my ion also.
Charge your phone upto 15 to 30hrs then you see yellow led, don't plug out wait for green led to come up.then flash your phone with stable firmware.

I already searched everywhere and I'm loosing my hopes. I'm trying to revive a Xperia Ion and this is what I get:
When I plug the phone in the wall charger the red led turns on for some minutes and then turns off for some minutes, then on again, and stays in this loop, no matter how many days I keep it in the wall. I already changed charger and cable.
The same happens when I plug on PC, when the led turns off it is detected as "Somc flash device" in windows device manager and this shows in flashtool:
INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
Nothing changes if I plug in pc with volume + or - pressed, it don't goes into fastboot or flashmode.
I hope you could help me. Thanks

This phone doesnt have any Volume +/- power button trick. It ONLY has the yellow reset button. Its a pain in the A*S!
Try a few things first.
1) When you hold down the yellow reset button, are you ONLY holding it down for a few seconds, and it vibrates ONCE?
Have you tried holding it down for 10 seconds, until it vibrates TWICE, indicating it has powered off completely, and THEN try connecting it?
2) If step 1 got your phone to power off completely try:
-Connecting your phone to your PC via USB with the volume DOWN button held and see if you get a GREEN L.E.D. If you do you have
successfully entered flash mode, in which case you can simply flash an FTF file with flashtool.
-Connecting your phone to your PC via USB with the volume UP button held and see if you get a BLUE L.E.D. If you do you have
successfully entered fastboot. From here, as long as you have ADB and your devices drivers installed on your computer, you can flash
a boot.img or "Kernel" with a fastboot command in a command window (fastboot flash boot boot.img). The easiest way to get a kernel or
boot.img with a baked in recovery is to download the latest Cyanogenmod, unzip and extract the boot.img, and flash it via fastboot.
Since you have an unlocked bootloader already, your device should be able to use an AOSP kernel.
From there you should be able to at least boot into recovery, and flash something from your SD card.
Id recommend just flashing the latest Cyanogenmod just to get your device up and running. From there you should be able to follow steps
get back to stock if thats what your looking for.
I hope at least one of these options work.
If not, like that last guy said, take it to a service center and get it checked out.
GOOOOD LUUUUCK!!

All ZL's are like that. Hold down till 1 vibration for reboot. Hold down till 3 vibrations for power off. The yellow reset button will not power on the device however. I figured I'd check just incase my power button decided to go for a sh*t.
