I want to removed some of the LG app, like "Memo", "Video", "File Manager". I can only disable it. I just want it uninstalled.
Anyone knows how?

Root the device and then use a tool (I use titanium backup) to freeze them, after running for a while and validating no ill effects from the freeze you can then remove. Apps that are system apps are not easy to remove (without root) and unfortunately many of the manufacturers and carriers use this to their advantage.
If you don't feel confident enough to root, use a launcher that lets you hide apps and simply forget that they are installed.
How to remove the update request for the pre_installed apps in "update center"
I have already uninstalled apps, still it is asking to download again..

Hi,
I am using HTC Desire, non-branded version, stock rom ... not rooted
Now, I am wondering about this home replacement app like "ADW Launcher" or "Launcher Pro".
Can I use it with my phone?
If yes, how do I install it? Just download and install the .apk?
Because I am a bit confused with HTC Sense ... Which is built-in ...
Thanks

Hi guys,
i want to share an app with you which in my opinion is essential for our ACE.
First of all Credits to ratson and link to original Thread
Autorun Manager is an app which gives you control over every single app and its services. You can easily kill unneeded services and keep them shut down even after rebooting your device.
This frees up barely needed RAM and therefore saves your battery & keeps system smooth.
I have constantly about 100 MB of free RAM.
Moreover I want to create a list of services for each app that can be shut down without harming functionality so you dont have to trial & error. You can also share your experiences with your settings if you have apps that are not already posted here.
Market Link: Autorun Manager
Notice 1: Phone must be rooted.
Notice 2: If you want to use widgets make sure u dont shut down Widgetreceiver

It's arabic language. It's saying
"Protect your Android device
Get the best protection for your phone now"
anyway, press and hold the notification, you'll get "App Info"
Go there, you can find out the application name, and disable all notification from it if you want (rather than uninstalling it).
thank you very much

I think it should be Latitude.
Can someone upload the apk please?
Gesendet von meinem GT-I8150 mit Tapatalk 2
I don't think latitude is provided as a stand alone app....
I'm pretty sure you get it when you install Google Maps. So you have 2 options.......
1) see if it's possible to update your Maps package in an attempt to re install latitude (although I'm not sure if that's possible)
2) Completely delete the WHOLE Maps package and do a clean download/install.....don't try to delete individual package components, just delete maps and your phone SHOULD remove it all. Then just re install from the Android Play Store......
Finally (I'm assuming you're rooted otherwise it wouldn't have been possible (?) to delete latitude) install Gemini App Manager (free) or Titanium Backup (paid) from the play store....both of these will allow ROOTED users to FREEZE unwanted/un-needed bloatware rather than deleting it...it's a lot safer as it's completely reverse able .....
Hope this is some help to you......

i have asked this before in the past but maybe at this time we might have the technology to do so.
i was wondering if i can remove remove "no service network not available" Ongoing notification from my notification bar on a GB rom?
i have a R800x and i primary use R800i roms because i don't use this phone for calling so the radio is disconnected.

I'm sure its somewhere in framework-res
Call me crazy but I have the strangest feeling the issue is in the telephoney app...

If you really want to go for it then get advanced apk tool and extract the telephony app or framework-res.apk and try to find something about it there.
You can also always just delete the phone apk completely and the device will work just fine. ?
