perhaps will release something what are Samsung users waiting. KNOX still can be reset or disabled even though Samsung increasing the security level if something about KNOX was leaked from Samsung...
Yea I hope we won't wait long for de-knox. I think it's possible since they did it with other flagships.

MODS, Please move this if I posted it in the wrong section, however .. most people that flash ROM's will find this EXTREMELY useful.
I don't know how many of us missed this, and the fact that many people are showing HUGE concerns about there Counters on there SGS3's are growing (like me) .. I found a posting by a great guy on here that many of you know .. Chainfire .. he has created an application called TriangleAway v1.80 .. this application will reset your counters back to "0" ZERO .. mind you, you do have to be rooted in order to do this. I have tried this app, and can confirm that it does indeed do as it states. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE ENTIRE OP FROM CHAINFIRE TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW THIS WORKS AND WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES.
Here is the link to the ORIGINAL application thread:

YES .. I have .. look at my signature !! Screenshot attached shows "0" .. I should have posted what it said before I did the reset .. my counter was at 32 !!
Works perfectly. Counter reset has been available for over a week now, but you had to search a little to find it. I've already reset 2 phones with it.

I assume this is a typo on chainfire and can be flashed without issue.
Also does this reset and keep it at 0 or just reset it and when you flash again it starts counting.

good that is my preferred method anyways
Works great..took my Pebble Blue SGSIII back to AT&T today to pick up the Garnet Red version.. my other was rooted .. custom ROM installed .. reset my counter, ODIN with official UCLG1 .. put phone back in download mode, verified NO counter listing.. and in Settings, About Phone, Status was labelled as Normal (which was labelled Modified before).

It just resets it. However once you get an alternate recovery or mobile ODIN and use that for flashing non stock roms, you will not increment the counter. It is the act of flashing a non official rom, using odin from a pc, that causes the counter to increment.
Right now where I live the wifi is very unstable. Just wondering, if i can possible to turn S3 HotSpot?

Well:
1st U'll get rid of all the useless crap T-MO/ ATT pre-install on your phone.
2.- Better Battery Life.
3.- Unleashes Phone true potential, it works the way it was intended.
Plus many more performance and battery Tweaks, Overclocking abilities (push ur phones CPU to work Harder) , UnderVolting (control Over battery Voltage with proper usage increases battery life).... among other awesome things if u are interested!,

Cool. I will look into more before I do it. I worry my phone will turn into brick. I saw a few thread floating around.
Just read and read and read some more. As long as you follow all the guides step by step and are making sure everything you do is meant for YOUR device, you won't end up bricking your phone. In fact, you'll be pleased with the results. Guaranteed. But remember, every instructional thread you read has a warning. Read them carefully and if you're still uncomfortable, don't be afraid to ask more questions. Anyone willing to respond to a question typically knows what they're talking about.

According to samsung if u flash a custom binary u have voided ur warranty. New devices like in our case the S3, Even S2 has a binary counter which keeps counts how many times have u flash ur device with a custom Rom,but even with this counter installed there's always a work around to reset this counter and "cash in" in our warranties. So feel confident that u can root and always bring back ur device to stock and have full warranty coverage.!!! SO HACK ON AND FLASH AWAY!!! U' WILL LOVE IT! :good:

There are ways to reverse back to stock and reset your count to Zero so that T-mo cannot tell you rooted and you can return your phone if you need to. You need to search Unroot Galaxy SIII for instructions or look here in the forums.

Read some more than this guy even said. If you don't know even what root is then make sure you have read enough to know what you are doing first. We were all noobs once so we all know what your thinking. But you will not regret taking the leap on root. You just get so much more out of your phone than you can imagine.

Why should Samsung remove knox. It's better for them. With knox they have less service costs. It is impossible to persuade Samsung, no matter how many requests we will make.
only flashaholics going mad about this knox thing. and i think these flashaholics just like 5% - 10% of their total customer all over the world or maybe less than that..so should samsung care about them ? not a chance mate.

Its a simple message from Samsung, you don't like Knox? Buy another maufacturers device, or, better still, find a way to defeat it, Samsung are not god, they are just another vendor, we don't have to buy their garbage... or we as a community can circumvent their draconian dictatorship vision, simple.
Merry Christmas!
