What is better?
CM 10.1.6 by Mardon or CM 10.1.6 with KitKat UI + V4.2 FIX?
Because they're both, practically, the same but I want to find out which outperforms which.

I Recommend CM 10.1.6 by Mardon Winter Edition with Fly-On-Mod V4.0 Beta 6

Thanks for your reply. In the meantime, I have been testing the themed ROM and it seems that it's faster than the original. ( the UI is much lighter on this one)

I am asking an administrator to delete this thread because I have awsered my question myself : CM 10.1.6 (simple) by MA6 is better!
The other version has bugs and nevermind my previous post.

[NEED HELP] Which is better : AOKP or CM9

Hello all..
I'm newbie here..I'm going to ask, which is better between AOKP or CM9?? I'm still confuse with this..
Somebody please help me..
thanks a lot..
All of the ICS ROMs are CM9-based, AOKP is just one of the project ported into CM9 (MIUI is another example of the project), the main differences between those ROMs are UI & Theme & Mod, just choose which one did you prefer, hope it helps

thanks for your help..I'll try one of them. Hopefully everything is gonna be alright..:good:
Agreed with MyDeSTiNaTe. There's an AOKP that based from the source. But the AOKP in our phone is based on CM9. So the decision in choosing the ROM in based on what you prefer. Trying the ROM based on your usage will helps.
Is replacing the ROM frequently will be bad for our phones??
sorry for my bad English by the way, I'm Indonesian..

Holla..i think AOKP is still best (for me),it has lots of features and tweaks that built inside, which is the CM are the base on that AOKP and still need to be modified to get best max performance. Correct me if i'm wrong...:fingers-crossed: Still newbie

My perspective
Whatever the ROMS is, the purpose they been made are always the same,"to make a better... one than...". So every each of the RaoM are have they characteristic on it. That why it more appropriate for we to choose it ourself wit we need, Wot the purpose, etc.. and to make sure the rom fit our needs. We must know wot the rom gonna give to us. As example:
Pardon;
A) i love game
B) i like to mod it
C) so i need hack tools
D) But my stock rom doesnt compatible with it
E) So i search it
F) Then i found it, rom that compatible for it.
G) So i installed it.
As always none r perfect. Because my need fulfilled. So things not works or bug etc. Its price i can afford it. And satisfied with it.
I prefer cyanogen, less customization but more stability, great rom

try Pimp my Rom:

it nearly doubled my battery life

But if you use Pimp my ROM, you may should leave your fingers off the init.d support,
which broke my ROM several times...
ROM
I recommend you MildWild 9 - Redux
rsk team
i recomand rsk special edition...or v8.....is a 3.5 sense rom....
I would say all MildWild roms are very battery efficient. for comparison, my stock rom with juice defender set to agressive gave my old desire 1 day battery life, and MW roms without juice defender give me that much without any problem.

[Q] Can you recommend good ROM for me?

Hello,
I didn't like stock ROM so I tried Android Revolution HD and Omega. These ROMs were good for me until I found CM 10.1. I'm using CM for some weeks, it's great ROM but it's not very stable (using nightly build). So can anybody recommend me similar ROM as CM? I want really stable and fast ROM with regular updates and author's interest in improving his ROM.. Love CM features so I hope somebody helps me
Thank you very much.

and thanks to the other developer who work hard to make our Wonder become Wonderfull. :highfive:
I'm very interested in PACman rom since it's the hybrid of 3 godly roms in 1 xD! Sadly, the dev of that rom for our phone is outdated (maybe even discontinued)
You can try Root-Box and liquid smooth... it was the same with PAC-Man. 3 in 1. jUst different name, tweaks, style, and maybe more stable
My eye is locked at Liquid Smooth too! No base! If im not wrong...

Liquid Smooth really awsome but i think gaming performance is not good
I am using Liquidsmooth and it's superb awesome...
L.Smooth is the combination of AOKP, PA, and CM.
That ROM is aim for performance ^_^
It does not BASE from CM. but combination..
It just take Arco kernel, and compile the original liquid smooth rom
CoRrect me if i am wrong:highfive:
I am pretty sure the gaming will good too :good:
Try using MArdiadi or hurtsky kernel if u want have a good gaming experience.
Love Liquid Smooth...

What Rom Are U Using ? :D

Hello guys so i open this threat just for people can comment what rom they are using, and meaby discust which one is better , so if u want to share with us your rom feel free to comment below
BTW hers my Rom : 4.2.2 beta 3 by acro- the most stable ever
I use growl v6 with kernel 3.67 madridi, super smooth and my battery lasts longer.
Pacman rom has every options that I need, but its unusable because of too much lags (maybe eats a lot of RAM).
Carbon is usable and smooth with 3.70 madridi kernel, but growl I think fits my needs.
Cyanogenmod 10.2 alpha 4 with stock kernel

CM11 by arco
CM11 by arco. This is the best rom ever.
I used to flash every single update Sir Arco dished out (CM9 -> CM10 -> CM10.1). I used CM10.1 beta 1 for a very long time. It's a great rom, the extra features and smoothness was great however my battery life was abysmal for some reason (I go pristine before each flash. It was great until RC8, but the battery life dropped significantly after RC9). I figured I don't use the JellyBean features much (Google Now is great, but it's a battery and memory hog for a low specced device such as ours) so I went back to CM9 EOL with Hurtsky's REV9 kernel, deleted the apps I don't frequently use like facebook, tango and viber, and now I have a super smooth device with a battery that lasts about 1.5 days with moderate use ^_^
