[Q] Cannot connect on any wifi after flashed kitkat on my Note 3. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hi all. Just flashed kitkat on my Note 3. For some reason I can't connect to my wifi anymore. I've tried removing and then adding the connection, but it keep hanging on "Checking the quality of your internet connection"
Please help!!

I'm having this problem as well. Disabling auto network switch doesn't work. Any ideas?

Some suggest full reset after every update, but I would start with cache wipe.

[Q] Wifi not connecting at all on CM10

I had the wifi issue on 4.0.4 too, where my ion wouldn't connect to my wifi after it got disconnected but it would have worked again if I put my phone into airplane mode, disabled wifi, then turned it back on, took it out of airplane mode and reconnected the wifi, but after I installed the cm10 it doesn't connect at all it can't even find my network. I've tried adding the network manually but it still says its out of range. anybody else having this issue? has there been a fix to it ?
my wifi on cm10 working great, had no problem since i installed cm10.
maybe you can try re-install cm10, better do clean install, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik and format system.
hope it help you.
Well I figured it out it connects if you change the region code in the wifi settings and that's great cause there's no need to reboot the device anymore every time.

[Q] Wifi issues

I am having a problem with my Tmobile note 2's wifi
Every time I connect to a WiFi network and run a speed test I will at most get 2mbps down 1.2 up. my network speed is 18mbps and every other device runs fine. This happened after I flashed the latest jedi build and tried re-flashing other roms but no luck.(even odin to stock)
Sometimes when trying to run a speedtest it just cant connect to the network to run the test even though my phone says it is connected.
I have done all the regular troubleshooting such as clearing cache wiping system resetting the router.
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] T-325 NK1 firmware Wifi problem

Hi
I installed the new NK1 firmware on my t-325 and since then my inernet connection keeps dropping with "AP currently not in use. Internet connection too slow" message. The internet connection is obviously not slow and signal strength is maxed out. Is there anything I can do ? I have already regretted upgrading. :crying:

I have the sm-t320 also on the NK1 firmware but I haven't experienced any wifi dropouts , but I did a clean install by doing a factory reset, have you tried to remove the AP and re-add it back in?
To remove the network go to Settings - Wi-Fi - Long Press on the AP and press "Forget network" , then refresh networks and re-connect to it, or if SSID is hidden scroll down and click Add Wi-Fi netwrok.

Yes, I tried everything but to no avail. I even selected another channel on the router. My wife has the same tablet with the older firmware and everything is fine by her.
It seems that I need to roll back to the previous firmware but I don't know how to start it since I have never had a Samsung before. I downloaded the original firmware, Odin v3.9 and installed Kies to have the necessary drivers. I don't want to brick my device, so is there anything I need to be aware of before I start flashing ?

[Q] GT-N5110 Wifi not working after OTA upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2

I have upgraded from Jelly Beans to Kitkat 4.4.2 via regular OTA upgrade provided by Samsung on my Samsung Note 8" GT-N5110. Since then I am unable to use Wifi on it. My device is NOT rooted and is running on original Samsung software upgraded via OTA.
I have tried to clear cache and then factory re-set as well and still can't get the WIFI button to sometime even select available WIFI networks. So issues I am facing are summarized below"
1. After factory re-set and clearing cache via Power+Vol Up option, when I tried to setup from scratch, WIFI would not turn on at all meaning device would not be able to scan for available WIFI network or would do so but after long time and if it does show available Networks and I select my home network with required security (WPA2) and password, it would show status as " Saved" rather than connecting to this network. The device would not connect to selected network even after multiple tries.
2. When trying to turn wifi on, device would not show "WIFI" button to Green but instead would stuck at "Grey" color for ever unless rebooted and re-tried many times. The grey would turn green when selecting advanced option or tabbing thro' back button but would not scan available networks then. If it would scan thro' Networks, it would just save selected network even with correct security option and password for it.
WIFI not turning on has made this device a piece of junk for any meaningful use. Any suggestions/ help would be highly appreciated. Again please note, my device is UNROOTED and running on original firmware provided by Samsung via OTA upgrade.

If you don't mind... try odin 3.09, flash philz recovery, factory reset for wipe clean for fresh install option, and boot to downloader. Flash a firmware from sam mobile, or the get a usa version in the development section.
That should flash a clean install after a wipe

GT-P5210 : No more WiFi since wipe

dear all,
I'd like to wipe my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 to factory settings.
I used classic startup menu (POWER+VOLUME) to access the wipe option.
When it restarts, WiFi is not working anymore : it can't activated.
It worked once, I succeeded to give the WPA2 key, I got an IP, and 2 seconds later, Wifi was not actived anymore and I wasn't able to activate it again.
I tried several workarounds, several solutions, several ODIN version to push several ROM files. Nothing is working.
Lot of ROMs are considered as invalid by different ODIN versions (even if MD5 checksum is valid).
Is there any package I can try to install (through APK inserted on the SD card for instance) to test something ?
Is there a good ROM file to download/try ?
Help...
Thank you

Try different network, if it's the same, the wifi built in is defective. There is no option other than changing a new board and it's not expensive

Try to go back to the stock firmware to see the result.
I've already tried ROM stock
I'll bring it at my office tomorrow to check with another wlan signal
Thx for advice's

Trust me, after factory reset and at initial setting, Wifi should be turn on by default; if it doesn't your Wifi chips are defective
