Share me ur cell's ebr1 ,ebr2 file from stock rom and ur system mount point .i will increase ur app's storage
distan7 has done it already. He asked me to upload the Ebr1 & Ebr2 files to a page on my site - http://oppo.vi8.info
They are there now - "2GB-OPPO-R819(from-distan7).zip".
Very soon he will write the instruction "How-To" and place it here, on XDA, for the users of our Oppo R819.

I will wait it. But I wonder why oppo gives us only 1 GB internal memory to install application. Is there a limitation from the hardware?

There is a tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2596030 that can be used from advanced users that already have the recovery package. Having that package is necessary in case something goes wrong.

I am not sure how successful he was, from what I read in the OPPO forums his R819 is dead now. Of course it can be unrelated to the repartition mod. By the way the files you uploaded are not modified, I checked with the original EBR files and they are exactly the same.

Dear OP, please have some knowledge while posting any thread to Developer region. You may be the reason for bricking many devices. If you have tested this ROM, at least share the status or procedure to flash the rom instead of sharing a whole thread in a single Link.
BTW, we already have i9500 MIUI V5 thread but it is still in progressive way. Do check and Hope u understand.:good:
Hello, I am running stock lollipop and am rooted. Does anyone know how I can disable the high volume warning? There is a flashable mod posted, but it was for KK. I know Wanam for Xposed is not an option. Any other option(s)?
Thank you,
Ciro
I'm running Alliance ROM and there is no pop-up warning just a red line on the volume slider.
I know there are custom roms with the built in feature, but I didn't want to flash an entire custom rom. I was hoping to just stay rooted stock and flash just the mod.
I'd like to bump this to the top.
I'm not looking for a mod, just some help on where to make the change to get rid of the warning.
I can decompile/recompile an apk, or change a setting in a .db.
Any help is appreciated

Thanks for pointing me in this direction, but this does not work for me. The code in 5.1 does not match up anymore. I tried improvising and getting the two changes into the checkSafeMediaVolume(III)Z method. All I get are boot loops... I've found a couple of other ways to try, but not having any success. Does this work for you on OG5?

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Are you both using the DualSIM variant (G8142)? I built and tested this on the SingleSIM (G8141) so I wouldn't know if there is any potential issue with the DualSIM one. Though, the recommendation to boot using the Power+Vol down combo is probably what you need to try.
EDIT: shouldnt be because of magisk. I'll upload a build that specifically uses the DualSIM kernel, maybe thats what causes your issue.
EDIT2: I derped, there is no DualSIM specific kernel, so your issue must be cause by something else.

It's not an issue you created but an old issue. Maybe they changed something from the old twrp versions in 3.1.1-0 and now it wont mount because of how its formatted like you said.
When I had the XZ/XZs I always used the old twrp version so it was never an issue for me but now it would be nice to find a solution for it I guess.
I ran blkid in terminal and it said ext4
Keep up the good work :good:
Fixed it.
Had the wrong mount path (that came from the fstab I added, AP had the correct path).
Also enabled exFat support.
https://github.com/Myself5/device-sony-maple-twrp/commit/904ee34e3dbcf4a101ba2f509e4d2659f1ee7fa9
Working image is uploaded:
TWRP-3.1.1-0-maple-20170720-2.img
EDIT: PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FORMAT USB OTG! I USED THE WRONG PATH THERE, FORMATTING USB OTG COULD ACTUALLY WIPE YOUR PHONES BOOTLOADER.
V3 WILL BE UPLOADED IN A FEW MINUTES
Works! :good::good:
Just uploaded TWRP-3.1.1-0-maple-20170720-3.img
This fixes USB OTG (tested and works), and fixes formatting the SDCard inside TWRP. I also removed V1 and V2 as they both could have gone very wrong when trying to format the USB OTG device. (The path was mapped to /dev/sda, which on maple is.. well.. the UFS storage, and therefore contains the bootloader).
Hence I strongly recommend upgrading to V3.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks to @kholk for pointing out my derp.
Everyone HAS to upgrade to V3 as soon as possible!
The previous versions are really dangerous and can hard brick your device!
Thanks .

Look here

Follow the instructions in the first post of the thread. Follow them verbatim. Read carefully before you start.
Use the BQL1 downloads in the second post of the thread.
This is what I did and it worked fine. I flashed both in COMSY ODIN. I did not use the Flashfire method, but I have used it before and it also works. If you do use Flashfire for the AP file (First file) be sure to flash the bootloader (second file) in COMSY ODIN..

I recommend that you use the downloads in the second post, not the third. The bootloop edition is an older version. The latest works better. The latest that ends with BQL1 is compatible with your phone because both are based on bootloader version 2.
If you want to have a backup of your stock firmware you can download the BRB1 firmware from updato or from samsung. I find updato to provide much faster downloads, but sometimes it is a bit strange finding the firmware you want. You can usually search by phone and service provider.
