My camera color and pics are distorted, no longer 5mp. How do i fix it? Plz Help

I am using ErwinP's CM9 ROM but my Camera video recording is not working. It only produces corrupted files that cannot be played.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I did not know that it's a known bug.

I've had camera issues (front camera freezes and video camera distortion mostly) with every 4.4 ROM I've tried. Do any of them have a bug-free camera?
Hello everyone!I have succesfully installed the previous nightly but when I record 720p video,it lags sometimes and I think it's because the auto focus that happens during video recording.Any fix??

what app camera that you use it for? have you read any current bug list from your build? if that any bug list in this build, try another camera app and try to record ok?
