Unfortunately no since both of the other Tab 3 variants use different CPUs. Think at this point it may be some time before anything gets going on the 10.1. I'm not really sure what the stigma is here it seems to be a pretty good performing tablet would be nice to have root to remove the bloatware and make better.

I know if I wouldve known this device is so dead for root and Roms I would've just gone with the nexus7

I don't think that it's necessarily a dead device just need someone to actually take a look at it instead of believing that theirs nothing good about it. From what I've seen so far it seems to have good battery life and not half bad in performance either and contrary to what I've seen in the reviews the GFX performance it actually also very good as well it beats my TF700 pretty solidly though resolution may be a factor there.

Its a very new device! I have a Razr I with intel chip also, we have root a some custom roms but no lucky with cm, pa or pac roms, :/

Thanks for taking the initiative on rooting the 10.1. I've had one for quite some time and can't wait until rooting and roms can start coming in. Too many samsung features that are awesome, but I personally dont need taking resources and would like to remove.

Im working also on stock rooted rom, and trying to get a recovery as well.
I don't have the device yet, so if you have it, and gained root... I would like some files:

postrecoveryboot.sh
If someone is able to get those after you have root, and get them to me... a CWM recovery is on the way

i dont think it will be avaialbe using the stock Samsung SMS app due to the fact its kinda tied into the framework unless someone specifically makes a 3rd party app to modify the Stock Samsung SMS app, however i can see it being possible using a app like GO SMS and have the data shared on both roms with one slight line of code added/removed (pretty much just a folder re-direct).
Ya pretty much i mean if he can get it going, i wouldn't mind using an alternative sms...because every alternative sms i have used, the message get shown in stock. so ultimately, will "almost" be the same...for sms. but hey, we will never know! i mean modacap (i think is what its call) manage to share data between tw and ge (granted, GE has tw framework) but still

Ive only tried flashing 2 roms haven't really messed with it until I find a good daily rom but it does work

Danm I really want to try this. I just fear is over my head for now without a computer. Brick my phone I'm really out of luck. . I see you are dropping a new minions mgobtoe. I'll have to check it out. Well guys keep me updated on this dual boot and let me know if there is a safe way to work it

Also he has a dual boot Rom I saw. Mgbotoe hint hint you should implement this in minions lol maybe with some task. I'd love to read task flame people having issues trying to do something actually complex lol.

If you take the diameter of the sun and divide it by the distance from Earth to Jupiter in centimeters, then you add in the length of time it takes to eat a hamburger steak, you'll clearly see that the answer is completely pointless.
Basically what I mean is that nobody's 100% certain we'll even get an official 4.3 update... I mean, the T-Mobile variant hasn't received an update since MDL, so why even speculate as to whether we'll get 4.4? Unofficially, we will more than likely have CM and others based on it; but that's just an assumption.
Anyone care to speculate as to why kitkat seems incremental? 4.3 to 4.4 and it gets a new name? Jumping to 5.0 and then when small updates are required it becomes 5.1 to 5.2 and so on. But jelly bean 4.1.1- -4.2.1--4.2.2--4.3 then 4.4 becomes kitkat. Wierd.

In that case, why was 4.0.4 called Ice Cream Sandwich yet 4.1 was Jelly Bean? There are pretty vast differences between the two, so why wasn't Jelly Bean 5.0, 5.1, 5.2.2, 5.3, etc...

For those that use the pen it defeats the purpose. I never used the pen. The screen size and battery life is what attracted me. What goofy toggles?

The point is, if you are going to cut out SPen and multiwindow on the Note 2 then why would you buy a Note 2 in the first place. Its those 2 features that make the phone what it is. I tried the Cyanogenmod......but I could not use the features that I normally use everyday, or at least had to load a hack to make them somewhat functional. If I didnt need the Spen or multiwindow I would have bought an S4.

Omni rom has multiwindow (more like split view)
Every aosp rom doesn't natively support Spen and Touchwiz multiwindow. Like I said, if you want all Spen functions And real multiwindow you must flash a Touchwiz rom. I don't think aosp roms are what your looking for

Just wanted to say Thanks , Ezd....eDzubmi.....umm.....Ed?, for helpin out with that. I finally got Skynote 4.3 up and running.....so far I like it. Dont know why it didnt run right the first time, maybe an older version. I think its a decent step up from 4.1.3.....improved but not all crazy and stuff.

I hate with a PASSION the TouchWiz UI and all the bloatware on Samsung devices. Since CM isn't supporting this device for whatever reason, what ROM do you guys suggest using that is close to CM (or AOSP) on this tablet?

If you don't care about the cameras like I do we do have cm since your on sprint t217s one. I don't think I can post links but its in general, the thread is some stuff for the d2lte, the thread was started by interloper.
Its unfinished and try not to spam the thread, idk if he's still working on it but its close to being done.

oh my racist.. Q_Q maybe it will work, is like they said that l9 p768 would not work the camera if you flashed cm for p760. that was the only bug but since they find a mod/fix for that you can use cm on p768. let see if it work i will try it.

I would highly recommend getting all original firmware and the Odin for your device before you flash, just in case of a brick.
From what I can think, the developer working on cm for your device can ask interloper for permission to use his repo to port cm to your device. I remember when cm11 was being developed for my s3 they used Verizon repos to get it to boot and function properly for sprint. I know there's a thread somewhere for a non bootable version for t210 somewhere.

yeah, that was the first thing the same day i bought this tab. the original firmware. i love how every time we bought a phone most of us like to lose the warranty the same day. i wish they could release a cm for the t210 user. but i think the only focus on sim/gsm band phones. since huawei already have a cm and other roms and the tab 3 not yet. since most of the Samsung phones have at least a cm rom, at least 1.

The 8 inch models just blew up recently with all ROMs pretty much. They have slim which is a fav on all I have. So its just a matter of time before 7 does.
With that said....I hope its before tab 4 with a cm friendly CPU.
