I've got "Adjust volume and brightness via the notification panel" ticked but it's not showing up any more. It's only when it goes you realise how useful it is, this is quite a dim screen when you let auto brightness do its thing. Has this happened to anyone else? Could you fix it?

Its in settings and notifications panel. Tick brightness slider

Yep, that's what the picture's showing, the settings and notification panel with the brightness/volume controls missing, despite the correct "notification panel" option being ticked.

Did you factory reset after your update?
Sent from my SM-P600 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Hmm, I did, but I've just done it again and it's back, maybe I was too aggressive disabling apps the last time out. Ah well, all good... Thanks anyway *pressed*

Menu / settings / wireless and network, then turn off NFC.
I always freeze tags titanium with backup pro.

thanks !
PS that would be the first app on the left not the right

Yeah that is the NFC tag app, seems your phone got close to a NFC tag and you missed the notification so it is still just sitting there ....
I'm currently on Infamous GE rom and I'm really missing customizable toggles. Does anyone know how to get them on this rom.
I tried an app but the toggles always get pushed down with the notifications, I want them to stay on top.
Here is a pic

Isn't that only if you pin it? So there will always be a notification icon (although you can choose a transparent one)

I tried that but your right, you have to pin it and you get a dumb notification icon that won't go away. Even if it's transparent is still annoying to have a gap in between your icons

Yup I agree. I just deal with the notifications pushing it down. Can't deal with an invisible icon
Sent from my GT-I9505G using xda premium
If you want invisible icons to go away after you down load said app. Just go to application manager in your settings and in check notifications

Anyone has that issue? How to solve it?
Tnx.

Check under setting, display, home touch buttons maybe you select hide home touch buttons for this app. Just untick it.

Sure. Checked it. Even if it was set, when you swipe it, it should appear but it's not the case.

Well, the problem was an update to what's app via aptoide and not officially....removing and formating what's app solved it

Galaxy Tools would be the way to go as it has an option to unlock all the toggles.

It looks like a great app.
But isn't compatible with our note 4 device.
Maybe it needs to be ported to our device.
After I installed it from apkmirror it rebooted my device and my apps didn't appear and fingerprint didn't work, also when I to go to settings the screen became all black.
I tried I installed the same version which the video above talked about it but when I tap on download link it takes me to Samsung apps store and this message appeared

I get this when I use swipe pad or LMT. I have to disable them temporarily so I can allow some apps permission. It took me a while to figure out those apps were causing them. Go to open setting and disable 5 at a time.
Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
I have the same issue. I have to disable swipe home button overlay temporarily to allow app permissions then turn it back on. Makes no sense but that's the issue.
take a look here : http://forums.androidcentral.com/ne...-detected-change-permission-6p-messed-up.html
I thinks is because blue light filter.
I think it create an overlay

Fix Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Screen overlay detected error Easily
Im have this issue on my Note 7
I even went to Samsung Cust Ser they format & fresh install software still same issue
Brand new phone has issues
Has anyone changed there Device & got rid of the issue ?
wondering if that is the ONLY WAY ?
It's annoying but you just have to go into overlay permissions and just disable all apps to change settings then you can turn back on what you turned off.
