Hi, I'm Stefano. I want to make the root in my Ace 2 but I can't enter in download mode or recovery mode. When I use the sequence (volume down + main button + power or volume up + main button + power) anything happens! the phone turn on. I tried with another phone and the sequence works!
Can you help me?

Hey all,
I just bought a Note 2 N7100 for my husbands Bday gift and we are unable to get it into download mode to root it. We're no strangers to rooting but this one has us both stumped. After making sure usb debugging is enabled we power the phone off. Then pressing vol down & home & power but only get an android guy with a red triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Any suggestions on what we may be missing or need to do?
Thanks.

It is recovery mode. If I press the home button I get the android recovery menu. No way to post a pic at the moment.
recovery - Vol up+ Home +power
Download mode - Vol down + home + power
If you are getting recovery menu by pressing vol down+home+power then you must have rule out device is not a replica. can you tell what you can see in recovery menu?
Try the volume up button + home + power instead. Or you can download the toolkit in the original android development tjread and have it do it for you.
Sent from my phone.
I tried to flash a ROM and when it tried to reboot it was stuck at the logo screen. Before I flashed the ROM I did a backup with TWRP. Now I can't get into recovery mode but I can get into download mode. What or how can I fix this problem via Odin ?
This is a T800
USA area
Thanks in advance
Your need to boot into Download mode by simultaneously pressing and holding Power + Vol down + Home. After the tab has booted into Download mode, press Vol down for cancelling the download mode. Then you must be quick: before the boot screen appears, you need to press and hold Power + Vol up + Home to boot into recovery mide.
Best, maris

If you search Q&A Help and Troubleshooting this problem has been covered many times.
The problem is purely user error and timing.
From power off simply press POWER + VOL UP + HOME. Hold until recovery boots.
If you are stuck at boot screen then hold POWER + VOL DOWN + POWER. As soon as the screen goes blank change to volume up whilst still holding the other buttons.
Guaranteed to get you into recovery mode.
Hi guys,
I just rooted my Galaxy S4 M919 using Odin. All worked fine till i removed CWM recoverly from the phone. Currently i cant boot the phone to download mode so that i can install a custom rom. When i press the power + volume up + home key, it takes me to android recoverly mode. How can i fix this to take me back to Download mode when i press this keys
Press and hold the power+home key+volume down ---- when the warning screen appears let go of all and quickly tap the volume up key.

Power OFF
hold volume + and volume - , keep both pressed ( with the phone off ) , and THEN connect to PC ( keep pressing those buttons ) until the download mode screen appears , then you can release them !
I have tried some of everything. Nothing will work it just keeps restarting.
Just go into recovery mode - with phone off, hold volume UP and insert USB cable (with USB already connected to PC), or hold volume down and power, and then choose "Reboot to bootloader". That's Download mode.
You need to have usb plugged in!
I installed SuperiorOS R41 rom for my s9 phone. The phone is stuck in the bootloader. It does not go into recovery mode and download mode. If anyone knows a solution, I would be glad if it helps.
Are you sure you cannot get into Download Mode? Have you tried:
1. Turning off the device by pressing power + volume down for ten seconds.
2. Pressed down power + bixby + volume down all at the same time for a few seconds.
If this does not enter Download Mode, then get back to me.
