Just got my ATT M8, and noticed, when I missed a text or call, there wasn't a tiny little number over the apps.
Wasn't that a feature on previous Sense phones ? I know the Galaxy phones do that, just curious. Thanks

The only thing Ive seen give a number count is the built in HTC email app. Nothing else.

While talking to the phone if I receive an incoming call the screen will show me who's calling and provide options for answering (put on hold current call) or decline to answer.
Thing is that whatever I choose the phone will stuck for a moment and won't be able to answer the incoming call nor continue to talk to the current one. Anyone else experiencing the same.
I hope froyo fixes this.

That's nice to know! Haven't tried it yet but I'll take your word for it.

On the bottom, it has a text showing from the person that last texted me. Just wondering how to stop it from showing up there because it defeats the purpose of having a pattern unlock if anyone can see who texted me. Please and thanks!
That's easy,just switch roms.

Stop cheating. People at least cant respond to the text with the patern unlock. But you could always replace the lockscreen with something.

Yeah, thanks for the helpful post. Because you obviously know enough about my life to judge anything. Maybe this forum is for help and not personal attacking. 3rd party lockscreens are lame, unnecessary and take up space. Went back to stock ROM. Thank you again for your help.

In the messages app the text randomly gets small. Is it a known issue? I am using ARHD 6.0.0 thank you

You know that you can use pinch to zoom in the messaging app to resize the text? Perhaps you are doing this by accident.

I don't think you are accidentally making it smaller, I too have this random problem.
It usually happens when coming from the internet browser to messages via the notification bar. If I close everything and go to the app directly then the text is back to the size that I had left it originally.
Love the m8 but hate the fact my bottom row icons show on every screen including the blink feed is there any way to stop my icons showing on blink feed ?
(Meaning phone , messages and other two I have )
Love the phone and swap between my 5s and the m8 it's the only bug I have about the phone
Thanks

I'm hoping for a work around on this also.
It takes up too much of the screen.

Still loving my M8 anyway.....

Personally I'm on Venom Rom where I can set the Icons to transparent, but perhaps Sense Tollbox for Xposed could do the job too?
I wish htc would fix it as it's the only thing which I'm my opinion lets the phone down ... Don't want to change the rom to sort it as I don't want to void my warranty

Anyone knows why the HTC one m8 stock version the keys at the bottom dissappear in a lot of the apps like Internet and much more, I have use 3 roms alright currently on Insertcoin and they all have the keys permanently there taking more space of the screen is kind of annoying lol. Anyways anyone knows something about it.

I can't speak to the Internet app, as I use Chrome, and it doesn't do this. Are you talking about the immersive mode of fullscreen apps, like Google Play Books or YouTube? That's by design.
Although, I can't imagine the Internet app is supposed to do that... Sorry I can't offer much help. Maybe you could list some more apps that do it. What stock rom are you on? (Rogers, AT&T, etc)

I moved this to Q&A since it's a question. My attempt to answer your question:
I've noticed that some apps have built in menu functions and will turn off the keys. The custom ROMs probably have a toggle set that keeps the keys there not matter what. That's my guess without more info.
