Xperia Arc S won't start after updating to ICS

I used PC Companion to update my Sony Xperia Arc S to ICS (Official Sony update). The update did not complete and showed an error. When I tried turning on my phone, it displays the Sony logo, followed by the image of a phone with an exclamation symbol next to it. Then the phone goes blank. I even tried removing the battery and putting it back. Also tried charging my phone. The same thing happens. I don't know what to do. Please help guys. I'm scared that I won't be able to revive my phone!

Flash an .431 firmware through flashtool on you arc and it will be fixed

If your bootloader is locked then you can try using seus (dont use pc companion it always fails for me too) and dont panic its only soft brick and easily recoverable. By the way there is fix for hard brick too.
And if you are on unlocked bl then you cannot update using seus, flash ftf file via flashtool or use patch for it

can anyone help me?
Tomorrow i updated my SonyEricsson Xperia Arc S with firmware LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_(1254-2716).ftf, after update via flashtool, i started process for getting root, and install CWM, that all will be ended fine. After that, i load my OS and start recover app and data with using Titanium Backup, i install all apps and recover data, then got message about low space on mobile storage and then my mobile started cycled reload. Just for stop that, i removed battery of my phone, and after it, my phone not loading, i hold power button and nothing to do.
How can i resolve that problem? plz help.
i alredy tryed remove battery for a 30 min, and then put mobile on charge without battary. nothing to happen

First of all flash the ftf file via flashtool again
And if that doesnt work then tell

it's can't be done, caz my phone not goin in fastboot mode(no blue led active), and also if i trying to charge it, led not turnin on(no green light).
also have interested fact, if i connect m phone to PC, windows play sound like i connect device, no new dialog window for install drivers caz they already installed.

Did u shut down phone by taking out battery and then try to enter fastboot mode?

yes, it unlocked and i also installed on my phone CWM 5.0.2.7-nAa-r2.

Then this may be a problem
I suggest someone with locked bootloader help you
But I read somewhere that u must uncheck FOTA in the options of what u wnt to flash

If you still have problems just use Sony Update Service to restore your phone.

if i trying use SUS, it want a flashboot mode, but i can't bring my phone in that mode.

Did You selected to install fastboot, flashmode and Xperia Arc drivers in "Flashtool Drivers Setup"? (C:\Flashtool\drivers\Flashtool-drivers.exe)..I would suggest trying to reinstall your drivers by going to (C:\Flashtool\drivers\Flashtool-drivers.exe) running the exe file and make sure you scroll to the bottom of menu that appears and ticking fastboot,flashmode drivers, some people forget to do this and of course ticking Xperia Arc drivers..

so, early i was installed drivers for xperia, but i have time ago error with driver "QHSUSB_DLOAD" when connecting phone after my last succefull update firmware, i look for additional driver and solved the proplem, down below log from "system Event Viewer" about last updating and installing new drivers.

So now if i connect my Xperia Arc S to computer, i don't hear sound what's mean "Error when connecting device" for a now, it's play correct sound, like device spoted normaly without errors, but my phone anyway can't enter to flash mode for reinstalling FIRMWARE, today i also charged battery without phone, by using portable doc station for battary.
additional info: my phone not turning LED like green when charging or BLUE when i try bring phone to flash mode.
What i can do for resolving problem, i mean, all problems started after my restoring backuped programs and earn 0 space on local phone storage. And after cycling rebooting my phone, before i removed battery.

[Q] Xperia ZL C6506 won't respond to anything!!

i was currently rooted , locked bootloader , on a stock deodexed ROM. Everything was fine until this morning I flashed a .zip file with CWM Recovery that wasn't for my device. I rebooted (still didn't know about my mistake) then, I couldn't power on the flash , the off button on the phone's back doesn't work neither , fastboot or flash mode neither. No vibration , no LED , NOTHING. It was nearly 100% when this happened so I don't think it's a battery issue.. Please help ((!

use pc companion to reinstalling fw. may be a good choice.

Don't worry I tried :/ the phone does nothing so the PC cannot recognize it either way you know..

It happens me too, just download the Update service from Sony, it will reconize your device and fix it , let me know what you need :good:
Edit: Dont confused PC Companion with Update Service from Sony they are differents

Sorry I am very late ! But I also tried that , without success. I went to Rogers (My provider) and they couldn't do anything either haha so I got a new Xperia ZL because they didn't know I was rooted )

i deleted the xperia home launcher , & i started to use another google play launcher ,,,, the today i decided to do factory reset to fix "no connection "error of google play ,,, now i can not reach any application & setting of my phone "just black screen " with battery level & signal strength <<< i can not do any thing even a call ,,!!!!
what can i do to fix this biggggggggg problem,,,؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟

Easiest solution would be to repair the firmware, either by Flashtool or PC Companion.

If you have CWM installed, you can try to flash a launcher .zip that you can find in the Themes and Apps section.
If not, reflash the TFT from flashtool like Someguyfromhell said.

thanx ,,, i did not install CWM ,,, & i tried to use flashtool but my device is locked & the program ask me to do "debug" of the sd card ,, which i can not reach it"s setting ,,,!!!! " sorry for the bad english" ,,,

Like I said, use the repair option in PC Companion, Support Zone, for cases when phone does not start up. It is there.

I can't see, how this relates to my previous post.
USB debugging works by connecting to the phone via ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and using commands from there. Depending on what are your intentions, I can help you further, if necessary.

tried to update it, but when the middle it was extinguished the device and when I tried to turn it on again it was not respond only shows a green light repeatedly, but the screen remains black and when I'm trying to connected it to computer ,it only connect by flash boot. i tried to connected it by fast boot or PC Companion but no thing happened

With what did you try to upgrade and how? It seems your update has gone wrong, as you state, it got terminated in the middle? Probably if you connect through fastboot, or flashtool for windows, you can put in a new kernel and the rom. It seems your phones kernel is broken too. It should be fine once you install a new kernel and rom.

But so do I upload new kernel or to break the bootloader from these pages you gave it to me, so i have to work through a Fastboot, and this is the problem my device is not connected to the computers through the Fastboot, the mobile always on Flashboot, I tried to load the kernel via the Flash tools but useless, even the Pc Combanion i tried to flash a new software but no thing happened

xperia m not turning on and not charging

please someone help me out from this serious issue. i cannot turn on my xperia m c1904 running on 4.3 andriod bootloader unlocked .while flashing the boot.img file of cyanogen mod using flashtool ,the process was successful on fashtool and gave the command as unplug the device then after that my device is not turning on and not even showing sony logo neither it is charging .i tried to connect it to my windows pc in fastboot mode it is also not working .please give the state of my mobile and assist me in getting back my mobile bacvk to its condition.thanks in advance:good:

i had same problem a few days ago, try to remove your battery, cards, and everything is attached to your phone, wait for a while, 5 min or so, then put it all together again, see if it can enter fastboot mode, thenflash boot.img from archidroid using cmd prompt. and flash the rom. Tell me if it works
