Rom question - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

My phone is the d2tmo version. I see a lot of ROM's for the d2lte. Are these compatible with my phone?

Yes.. d2lte are for all the d2 devices

They're compatible with your phone and should work perfectly.

why most rom for n7100

seems not many rom for n7105.
may i know why?
The N7100 was released earlier and more developers have that version. A lot of the American variants are compatible with the n7105 so you can try them. There is a thread of compatible roms somewhere I think jedi rom is compatible if I remember

Since the N7105 is the LTE Variant, can we flash any ROM meant for the N7105 to out i317?

bobcat rom on m919

Im running bobcat v5.1 on m919. All I have is 4g is there a way to get lte?
I'd flash a rom from the T-Mobile S4 android development section and see if you get lte back.
That rom is from the i9505 forum if I'm not mistaken. I know that you can flash i9505 roms on the m919, so maybe a kernel change.
But, if it was me I'd flash insane kit kat, cm 11, or wicked or something and go from there.

You are getting LTE. International Roms use different symbols. I believe a build.prop change to jfltetmo from jfltexx will change your icons. There are instructions somewhere around here on what to change.

I actually just found it too and I think I'm going to try flashing it tonight and see how it works.

It should work fine since everything uses the unified tree now

D2tmo vs d2lte? Need some clarification

So I want to upgrade to a newer version of Android and I know I need to run a custom rom. I have my T-Mobile s3 lte rooted and know I will need to install twrp(I think). Since my device is lte do I need to install a d2lte rom or are the newer D2tmo roms lte as well? I'm asking because there seems to be many more D2tmo roms than d2lte ones. Thanks for any help in advance!

D2tmo is for the T-Mobile version. D2lte is the s3 from att, Canadian carriers, and certain Mexico carriers.

That makes sense, I was worried I would lose lte if I used D2tmo. Thanks!
