[Q] How to remove Wildfire S simlock?

Ok, I've been searching for this for a while now and I can't seem to find any way to remove SIM lock on Wildfire S I don't get it, is there any way to unlock it without using those unlock codes that you have to pay for?

Yes, but my phone is one of few that can't be unlocked using IMEI I already checked on eBay and it specifies that the unlock code won't work on my mobile (unsupported network).
But what if I flash other RUU from HTCdev and then try to buy unlock code? Is that possible?

Xtc clip will do the job, will s-off you as well.

I would like to simunlock as well. What do I need to do exactly? My friend says rooting accomplishes the simunlock. I'm wondering if my T-Mobile HTC Wildfire S is simunlocked at all? How can I tell?

You can tell by placing a different carriers sim card in your phone.
also root does not sim unlock your device pal.

Wanna unlock the bootloader

Hi guys! Well im curious with my zl, im locked bootloader with root and recovery but i read that when i do root i cant unlock it so i was wondering if i flash a clean rom could i unlock it? I wanna do it just ansious to try. A modified rom!! Help!

As far as I know Tmo GS4 is boot loader unlocked.

Upgrade from ICS

Hello, its been long time since I was in this flashing/tunning devices World, last device i messed with was an N7000 and Galaxy nexus...
Long story short, I have a virgin I747 running ICS, it is unlocked but not rooted
It has stock bootloader and everything
All i want to do is upgrade it to at least 4.3... Mind anyone point me in the step by step direction? Want to do this safely but the Ammount of info is overwhelming
Dont want to risk the device and I want it to be at the end 4.3 stock touchwiz non rooted and unlocked

Virgin in Canada is the i747m, not i747. Check in About to confirm which baseband and model you have before flashing anything.

Mine is i747 not m

For the i747, you can flash the stock i747 4.1.1 firmware from sammobile.com using Odin. Then, run OTA updates until you get to 4.3 or 4.4.2.
What country is the phone being used in?

In Venezuela.. But by doing that wouldn't I lose the unlocked?

Once carrier unlocked, the phone will remain unlocked even if you change bootloaders and ROMs.

Ok so I just download the sammobile firmware and flash via odin and thats it

It would be the same process to flash official cm12.1 on i337z from cricket...
