[Q] Root Issue? - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I seem to be having some issues with root. I'm rooted and I've got SuperSU installed. I'm trying to install GSam Battery Monitor Root Companion, but it doesn't seem to be installing properly, and suggests manually copying and/or installing BusyBox. I tried installing BusyBox, but it either fails or resets the phone. And I've tried manually copying the file, but it either crashes or is removed (from /system/priv-app) after a restart. It seems these apps have been granted proper access, so any idea why it's failing?

flar2 created a kernel module for this reason. Check the original development subforum or install a custom ROM.

I'm also having trouble with the root companion. Installed correctly in system priv. Extended stats work for the radio, but the display draws a blank. Using ARHD

Deleting and reinstalling makes no difference.
I also noticed my awake screen times are now messed up in wake lock detector

Follow that guide, you have to convert the system to R/W because it's R/O by default.

Did this start happening after you updated it from the market? After I updated mine yesterday it went nuts. I used ROM manager to fix permissions then rebooted into RA 2.3 and chose fix uid mismatches or whatever it actually says in "other". Everything was fine after it booted back up.
Is this your first time running the app? If so, hit the "Problems?" button and install Busybox. It will work fine after you do that.
If you open up Superuser is it showing up in there?
This is the screen that i keep seeing, I cnt get nonthing else. This not my first time using TB. And it does show up in the superuser app..

Shell repeatedly requesting root, what does it mean?

The shell is repeatedly requesting root, like every second. What does that mean and is it normal. The only root apps installed are adfree and titanium backup, and they both show up by name in the su app log.

You should be able to set SU to automatically respond and give root access. It is under settings, automatic response. You can also turn off the logging so it does not fill up with a whole bunch of accepts for the shell. I am not sure if this would cause security issues or not. As long as you do not run or do anything sketchy then you should be ok with auto allow.
There is the superSU flash able zip. That will fix the shell access issues. Its in the android development section. It works better than super user.

[Q] Battery "drop" issue

Guys I am at a complete loss as to what might be causing this. I have searched for 2 days researching what could be causing this.
Things I have done to attempt to resolve:
1. "Placebo" clearing battery stats.
2. Charging phone to full, draining it till it was at 5%. Then rinse and repeat 3 times now atleast.
3. Frozen any apps I dont use, including many system apps.
4. Trying multiple different firmwares (all 4.2.2 so far mind you...)
5. Fixing permissions in recovery.
*Note - each firmware flash was a clean flash. No data/cache or apps aka Factory defaults.
I dont use any apps to mass-restore my previous apps or restore previous backups in recovery.
*I am rooted. Have the dual recovery and I have a locked bootloader.
Help please

[HELP/URGENT] Xposed Installed but Doesn't Read

I installed Framework using Flashfire. I already flashed the latest one which is
"xposed-v84-sdk22-arm.zip"
and downloaded at
"dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm/". I flashed it successfully and its automacally rebooted.
Then when I open XPosed then go to Framework, there's still a red text saying I didn't installed it yet and also in Modules tab, it says framework not yet installed.
See screenshots below for further understanding.

Android Version is 5.1.
Thanks in Advance for those who replied and helped.
It sounds like installation won't work with FlashFire. Try using the latest TWRP for your device.
Haveing same issue with my tablet. There is a FlashFire log on you internal sdcard FlashFire/last log . Scroll to the bottom and read error. Most likely can't mount /system as rw
EDIT: disregard. i have success. just needed to remember to turn adb on, and i also unchecked the option in flashfire to have flashfire remount /system (hope this helps the next person)
I keep having issues trying to download framework it says it is not comparable with android SDK version 23 or your process architecture... How can I fix this?? I have an xt1526 BL unlocked rooted with aokp custom ROM

HELPPP!!!ROOTED DETECTED ON MY SAMSUNG A70 (MAGISK UNINSTALLED)

First I try to install TWRP and root the device with magisk (succeed).
After that I realized that my phone can't open some apk like m banking and the others and than I try to unroot by uninstall the magisk.
After the magisk gone, I try to verify root status and busybox status with root checker pro (the result is root access is not installed but the busybox still has been installed correctly)
I try to check again with RootBeer Sample and the result is my device is rooted.
Suddenly I flash the ROM with the original ROM using ODIN.
But still, I can't open some apk.
Anyone can help my problem?
Thanks for helping me..
My device condition for now is :
1. Fresh Original ROM Android 11 installed with ODIN
2. Bootloader was locked
3. There is no magisk app or I'm not installed magisk for root my device but still my device detected Rooted Installed
4. I still can't open some apk file like m banking
5. I'm using original recovery
