So, I love this phone and hate it at the same time.
First off, just at random, the BT, Wi-Fi or GPS will just turn off. Has not happened for a couple days, nothing has really changed.
Now the big issues. These are driving me nuts....
I have a Pyle PLDN74BTi (don't laugh, it was dirt cheap) and it supports Bluetooth audio and tagging and speakerphone from a BT phone. All the features work except the tagging. I cannot get BT to display the audio info or the phone info.
Second, I just bought an iBolt xProDockX. When I dock it, the phone recognizes its docked, but it will not open the doc app upon dock. I look in the default apps, and the dock isn't even listed. I purchased Car Home Ultra and it wont auto open, I even install the dock&drive app from iBolt and it wont auto open upon docking either.
Anyone else having these stupid issues with their phone? I have cleared all the apps, and I have restarted the phone. No Dice.
You posted this in the S3 forum, not the Note 3... I doubt you will get any help here

While preparing to storm chase last night I started to wonder if there was a way to use my EVO to send GPS coordinates to my radar software on my laptop. Has anyone done something similar to this? I've looked at apps that were supposedly suppose to do this in the past, but was not able to get them to work.
Just wanted to know if anyone else had any experience doing this. I already use wireless tethering for the internet connection now, but it would be great if I could just bring the laptop and phone and have it all covered.
Also, as a side note, I have noticed a handful of apps that will send the data via Bluetooth, but I do not have Bluetooth available on my laptop, so I would prefer to just be able to transmit via USB. I may just have to break down and buy a bluetooth module for my laptop.
As of right now it seems that this isn't possible. Someone else with a Droid incredible wanted to do the exact same thing. It seems that gps module in the phone isn't capable of sending anything via USB. Maybe Bluetooth would actually work! Here's the read.

Sold locally. Thanks for all the PM's guys.
I have for sale a used TomTom wireless bluetooth GPS mkII.
It's noticeably used, but thats how I bought it.
I sold my captivate so I no longer need the GPS unit. It works extremely well though. Cold locks take about 20-30 seconds and hot locks take about 1-5 seconds. Comes with car charger and wall charger.
I must say, the charge on it is fantastic. I went to visit my girlfriend one weekend, left it on for the 6 hour drive down, used it each time we went somewhere (and we went to movies, dinner, a museum, a park, and just around town) AND was driving home before I thought to myself that I should charge it. It would have lasted longer but it just popped into my head to charge it.

Anyway, I'm trying to sell for 25 shipped in the USA. I will put it in a bubble envelope and mail it off.
Works well with bluetooth GPS provider. PM me if interested, or mods if this isnt allowed then please close it. I just know that my Captivate buddies might need one of these.
I recently upgraded to M8 from old One S and missing "Flip for Speaker" feature a lot. If somebody doesn't know that was a feature in many HTC phones earlier that would turn on speakerphone during call if you flip your phone screen down on the table. Helps a lot during those wait times etc. There is no such thing on M8 and I'm missing it a lot. I thought first that may be they removed it due to the front speakers, but I tested speaker and microphone face down and see absolutely no issue. I tried a separate "UpSoundDown" app, but it doesn't work very well.
Can somebody tell me is there a ROM that has the feature that I'm looking for? Is there a Kernel that can enable it? Where to look for this and where to request it if feature wasn't implemented?

No any input on this?
If anyone interested the best solution I found so far is Auto Speaker app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hanan.android.ramkol&hl=en
It works pretty good , but still I would much prefer "Flip for Speaker" option, because of lower power consumption during those waiting times and due to the way Auto Speaker switch works.
Does anyone know xposed module with such functionality? Where would be a good place to put a rom/xposed request like this?
Hi everyone.
I have a very very annoying problem onj Z Fold 3 since I installed the update with One UI 4.0
Almost all media audio is played on Galaxy Watch 4 instead on the phone: all youtube audio, all voice messages in all messengers and notifications sounds from the phone are being played on the watch.
Watch is NOT listed as an media output device, but does this all by imitating a phone call (?!?) from a number 10000000 (picture shown).
This happens most of the time when I do not see it, and the virtual call remains there until I disconnect it manually, also, drains all the battery of the watch in 5-6 hours.
Please help. I temporarily solved that by disabling all kind of phone calls on the watch, but that is not a solution for me since I need to be able to manage calls on the watch.
Thanks!

Have you done a factory reset on the watch to see if the issue persists?

If nobody appears here with a specific solution, I will have to try that. It's a ***** to go trough config again unless really necessary
My S20+ has had this problem almost as long as I've had my vehicle (with Ford sync 3). For whatever reason, if I take an incoming call on Bluetooth, about 80% of the time, there is no audio - I can't hear them and they can't hear me.
To troubleshoot I have to switch to speaker, then we can both hear each other.
If I'm on Android auto (wired), I have to unplug, then hit speaker.
My wife's Galaxy S21 ultra never does this.
It never happens on outgoing calls.
It seems equally likely to happen whether I'm using the phone for Bluetooth media (podcast app, separate music app both seem equally likely) or not using it for audio at all (i.e. Just listening to the radio)
It seems equally likely to happen whether I'm on Android auto (wired) or just connected to Bluetooth the old school way.
The only commonality is that it's on incoming calls on Bluetooth. I've been unable to identify what factor is different on those rare occasions when it does work
Twice I've tried completely unpairing and starting fresh. That seems to work, temporarily. But eventually it goes back to its old ways, so this is not a solution.
Are there a few developer options I may want to try checking on or off to see if they'll help? I don't want to go messing with that stuff unless it's recommended by someone here. Any other ideas?
