Hi all, i have a LG E986.
ill try to some custom ROM but i decide to return on STOCK becouse all working ROM is based CM and i dont like CM.
well. i download KDZ of my model and try to flash it with LG update tools with Offline procedure, its start the procedure, extract KDZ file and at the time to flash its DONT RECOGNIZE MY PHONE IN DOWNLOAD MODE and say

_DetachDLL Call End
Page_Error
second try... ill try to use in normal mode LG update tools, well.. phone connected, it start the download of my fw and when start the flash it say
cannot connect to the server and dont start the flash.
NOW I DONT KNOW WHY BUT IM STUCKED IN DOWNLOAD MODE.
can anyone help me please?

hi every1, i was wondering if i could get some help, i flashed my p970 before with nova v8 and for that i had to downgrade it with kdz to v10a, just like u taught me on your tutorials, somehow i bricked it while changing the theme on emulator and i had to do an emergency flash. so now, i do everything like you guys tell us to do, just like i did for the first time, to get it from 10b to 10a, and nothing happens, it always fails. im sending you also a print so you can see what happens. thank you very much for all your help in advance

Rename VDP_VODAFONE(PORTUGAL).LGP 970.V10A_00.kdz file as V10A_00.kdz & then try
well when i try use kdz updater offline fix to get back to stock from cm10.1. i get this error with all kdz i download and i dont know why! can any help me??

Can you enter in download mode??
I have a big problem, my E986, whatever I do, just keeps rebooting into recovery (CWM from Official CM10.2)
What have I done:
I rebooted into recovery from the Advanced Power Menu in CM, to do a backup, because I wanted to test a new ROM.
Now the phone stays in recovery, I tried a normal reboot, a reboot to bootloader, and power off from cwm -> everytime rebooted into recovery
I also tried to pull the battery and tried a normal boot -> booted into recovery
And I can't use ADB because no driver works with the phone, when it's in recovery mode (tried the LG ones, and the Google ones), ADB worked fine with CM10.2.
Do I have to go back to stock, or is there another possibilty to solve this problem?
Edit: I tried to go back to stock (followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420219 guide), but I just get some errors

Edit2: In the meantime I tried to install a different recovery (still CWM), compiled by myself), same problem, I tried to install another rom, still the same problem, I also tried to restore a backup, still no boot into system
Try a twrp recovery with Loki built in. I know madmack posted one. Then reboot in recovery and reflash cm10.2 after a wipe.
Ok, managed to get out of this cwm error
first I restored my backup with cwm
then I flashed TWRP (which was for the E980) via ADB Sideload
after that I just pressed Reboot -> System and everything worked

I seem to have bricked my Verizon G3 while trying to install TWRP. It was running rooted 23C. When I try to reboot, the screen stays black. The phone vibrates when I try to turn it on, but nothing. I tried the TOT method to install VS98510B_03.TOT, but it fails at the "Model Information Check FAIL!" Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am not an expert, but I did have a similar thing happen to my vs985. I used the first webpage listed below as my primary reference and the second as a check. I used a Win 10 pc and the most important thing, get the pc setup correctly and follow the directions. It works.

I looked at the first link, but wasn't sure how to remove the silver cover over the MB.
Mine popped off. I used a plastic pry tool to pop off one side and it came off. Something like a guitar pick should work as well.

I believe the tot file I used was a10B file, when I get to my PC I will look for the link to that file and post it here. It worked well for me. The other thing you may want to try, ask for help on the "unbrick vs985" post (the first one I listed in my original post).
