[THEME] HTC_vs_GALAXY_S - SENSE THEME - Beta 0.2 - Updated Revert Back

This is my BRAND NEW creation!!
A nice SENSE THEME for our SAMSUNG GALAXY S!!
TESTED ON FRESH JM5​
HOW IT WORKS:
- My theme replace all of .png file in some .apk to looks like HTC Desire;
- It's tested on XWJM5, but it shoud work on any ECLAIR roms;
- Backup all of you sensible data (the update.zip doesn't delete nothing, only replace, but is better do a backup);
- Before flash it do a Nandroid backup with Rom Manager;
- It can be applied on root or unroot GALAXY S;
INSTALL:
- This is an update.zip not a metamorph, so put it in the ROOT of your INTERNAL SD and rename it in update.zip;
- Restart your GALAXY S in recovery;
- Select APPLY UPDATE.ZIP;
- Ready to play )
HOW TO REVERT BACK TO ORIGIN:
- Download the HTC_VS_GALAXYS_REVERT_BACK.zip;
- Rename it to update.zip
- Put it in the ROOT of your INTERNAL SD;
- Start in RECOVERY MODE;
- Flash the update.zip though the STOCK RECOVERY
- That's all!
VARIANTS:
- There are 2 variants of my theme; one is identical of HTC stock rom, the second one has the WHITE NOTIFICATION ICONS;
- Choose what you want;

No Sense widget, i can't replicate it couse are under copyright! Install beautifull widget.

Theme looks awesome but unfortunately i have some bugs.
1st screenshot shows stock task manager with abstract text below icons
2nd screenshot is notification list. there is no correct text on "remove" button. also strange text when turning on wifi/bluetooth
3rd screenshot. when i press volume up or down it shows me "debug"
i think it's becouse i am using another firmware than you.
I had exacly the same problem (with the same bugs) when i have installed wrong Super Circle Battery mod (not designed for my firmware).
I m running JM1. what firmware are you using?

I can't flash it at all with clock work mod recovery
It says its flashed but nothing is changed

Belive me, the only one bug that i've and i'm working on to solve is the second screenshot.
All the rest, nothing. I'm running JM5 but it can be flashed on all Eclair rom. I've installed it on a fresh flash rom, and it's everything ok, no bugs here.
Let me know.

Like i saind on the first post, flash though the stock recovery. DON'T USE THE ROM MANAGER it doesn't flash the rom. Use only the stock recovery!

This is the only one bug thet i've gounded for now:
- installed on fresh stock JM5
- rooted and lag fixed
Try to install a fresh JM5 and flash the theme. Post all bugs whit images that you find! Thanks guys

2. HOW TO DISABLE NAVIGATION BAR ?
Answer : "Open Navigation Bar Apps, find it in your app drawer, tap "Hide Navigation Bar (full screen)" & and do Reboot your wonder.
3. HOW TO ADD MORE BUTTON TO NAVIGATION BAR ?
Answer : " Go to SYSTEM SETTING - SYSTEM - NAVIGATION BAR and follow the instruction there

Download my zip from first page, unzip it, open its system/framework folder, delete framework-res.apk repalce with your signed .apk (Rename to framework-res.apk) rezip and flash using my ionstallation method
Note :flashing the zip, I am assuming you have already had a back up your current nandroid system

I got bad and good news. Bad news is that the framework for my phone crashed every single app after I inserted the framework. Good news is I flashed the one you made for your phone instead and it works without any bugs. Sorry for troubling you. I should have test first before posting

Replacing the current framework with a modded one is risky if don´t know how to do it exactly. You must copy the modded framework first to your phone. Set the permissions for the modded framework correctly and then replace it with Root Explorer. Finally reboot your phone. Else this might cause your phone to crash and whats else. So flashing it via a zip like the one Adi prepared for you is always the better task.

I can confirm that it works on Android 4.2.2 . Why dont you try reinstalling the apks. Also, try updating the apks to the latest version. I will repost the zip with the updated apks and change the links...

No, it isn't. Just an apk of the Google launcher, Google Search and GravityBox.

NOTE: If you want the gradient status bar like KitKat (and not the Lollipop-like one here), set the transparency in GravityBox to 1% (not 0, else it won't work). Then download the Tinted Status Bar module for Xposed and after activating the module, open its app. Find Google Search in the list, and select the activity com.google.android.launcher.GEL - give it the status bar tint 66000000. Tap Apply, and you'll have a KitKat gradient on your launcher status bar.

You can now also download the official google camera app. That means Photo Spheres!

hi i've just recompiled all the xperia apps and mods on my device and i just want to share it :3
if anyone know how to improve its performance please edit it coz i'm still learning how to install tweaks
-stock deodexed
-replaced twhome by xperia home
-replaced stock music by walkman
-replaced stock video player by movies
-xperia z lockscreen
-replaced samsung keyboard by xperia keyboard
INSTALLATION
wipe data and cache
mount system and data
install zip
Note:
always have a backup
initial boot will take 5-10 minutes. only first install
edit music info not working
samsung lock screen shows up for 1 sec after unlocking
i cannot provide complicated fixes coz i'm still learning from here, but if i could provide assistance I would.)

did it stuck on galaxy fame gt-s6810p logo or boot loop?

get the XPERIA logo and then starts to load and does not finish out

@blackwatch92 use dsixda's kitchen to cook without problems.. Unzip my rom as working rom and add all apps and patches, zipalign the apk's, and create signed zip.. After all from above open the new zip with 7z and replace updater-script with the one from my rom.. And it will work for sure..
As a temp fix i suggest not wiping all data when flashing.. Flash over stock or format only the system, after a full backup of course.
And btw i'm happy to see new things in developement section for this device! My best wishes to you and good luck on this road!!

thats the same for me. it takes more or less than 10 min after that it will open the setup guide

Here's what I did..
Flashed the Rom...rebooted into system..Then rebooted and flashed the smallapp package..
and rebooted..
Then
I didn't have lockscreen...the quickpanel button didnt work....what should I do?

Also, contact import is broken, but is contact sync with Google working?
And also what does contact add t9 mean?

Get out of my brain! :laugh: Yesterday I thinked about a ROM, which brings the Sony features, but the base is the OpenSEMC. And today you published this ROM. It looks very good, when it's get to "bugfree" state, you'll have another user. Thank you for your work.

I did that..
At that time....I didn't have lockscreen,recent apps..
And the power menu only had Power off and reboot buttons...(no aeroplane button or screenshot)
And the quick panel button on the notification bar didnt work...
I didn't touch anything
Rebooted to recovery...flashed the small apps pack and rebooted into system...
It didn't make any difference..Still those problems were there...

i install another contact app and import contact and it's ok.i can use that in default contact app

I can not dowload from mega.cz It just loading the page... But i want that ROM.

@machao44, mate pls fix the Phonebook import and export functions FC bug please. and what do u mean by " Create a contact normal T9 " ? i want to use this rom if those bugs are fixed already. And i think its better if u make this to CM11 4.4 but tnx anyway for hard work mate!:good: i hope u make a opensemc CM11 that has the same feature like this

I deleted Sony related contact apps and replaced it with contact app from OpenSemc Rom....
Now everything's working for me...
