Android Phone Driver HTC - HTC One X

Hi all,
I have this weird problem with my HTC One X since always actually :s. I thought I should fix it some day, well now.. I have searched this forum and many others but none of them helped.

On Device Manager I get that "Android Phone" isn't installed. I have installed HTC Sync AND HTC Sync Manager (if there is a difference), also I have installed android SDK (there I ticked on USB DRIVER) but still no luck.
I have android debugging on and am running CyanogenMod 10.2.
And I also don't get to access my SD data so I always have to use AirDroid, but when I have to flash something I can't use Airdroid. So that's kind of annoying.
Any one know whats up?
All help is greatly appreciated!

yes install latest google drivers and try THIS

Thanks! That did help the "Android Phone" problem but not what was really annoying me. The fact that I can't access my SD card through USB. Does anybody know the answer to that one?

turn debugging off...

[Q] JB Update Giving me Forced CD Drive

I updated today to JB CID_044 Android Revolution HD 15.0. And now when ever I plug my phone into the computer I get 2 connected devices.
Portable Device 'EndeavorU' which I understand is the new mounting method
and
CD Drive 'HTC Sync Manager'
It is this one that has me confused. When I open it it contains many files that are for the new HTC Sync Manager, plus drivers, install files etc etc.
Why? and for what? I don't want HTC sync manager and I certainly don't want a reserved drive for the install files. I have not read about this anywhere else, so can someone please shed some light on it for me and how to get rid of it.
BTW I did install HTC sync manager recently but quickly uninstalled it!
Thanks in advance

They have done away with usb mass storage in JB and gone to MTP storage. A decent work around is to mount with CWM recovery or TWRP recovery
Also this has been discussed before mate

I understand that, I just don't understand the CD DRIVE business. The MTP works fine as a drive solution it comes up as a portable device that I can transfer files to with no problem. What I am saying is I get 2 a CD drive and a portable device

[Q] A couple of questions and issues with my One X

Hello Everyone
I recently installed Android Revolution HD 15 after using Team Venom's Viper ROM for a while. Venom is an amazing ROM, but I decided to try out something new since I am a fan of constantly changing ROMs and trying new things.
1) For some reason Google+ keeps saying "Cannot connect to server" and of course Talk doesn't work either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Google+, clearing data and cache, but nothing seems to work. I have also tried both on Wi-Fi and network to no avail.
2) I noticed there's some small indicator in my notification bar which I don't know came from where. It looks like a red battery indicator or something but I have checked almost all the applications that could be related to it but they aren't. This is it:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3) I do not know why, but the phone does not give me the option to "charge only" or "mount as SD storage". I have tried looking in the settings but there's no "Connect to PC" application like there was in the Viper ROM. When I tap into "Storage" there are options on the bottom under the title USB Storage but they say "unavailable" and there's one called Mount as USB storage but it's greyed out and you cannot really tap or interact with it.
4) There are no quick settings in the drawer any more like there used to be in Viper, and I have tried Control Panel and Widgetsoid but they just aren't as good or at least don't provide me with the exact same thing. Is there anyway to perhaps take the drawer from Venom and apply it to ARHD?
You're probably thinking "why wouldn't he just go back to Viper if he's such a fan?" well.. I can tell you that from my short experience with ARHD, it is much, much faster and more stable than Viper. Viper seemed to lag quite a bit for me, especially after running the stock ICS ROM for a while, the difference is very clear.
If you have any ideas or advice, please let me know. My HBOOT is now 1.31.. it was 1.28 but I had to update it in order to install ARHD 15 instead of 9, which is the latest ICS one.
Thank you, mate, and have a good day.

i downloaded it but its not working...
I had this problem... I uninstalled HTC Sync Manager (Complete uninstall with drivers). Rebooted.
Downloaded latest one from here http://www.htc.com/www/support/software/htc-sync-manager.aspx
Installed it... and Boom! Everything was working fine once more!
Also make sure your antivirus is disabled. I had Norton on my computer and the drivers wouldn't install right until I got rid of it.
from my Viped out one x
i had done all these things. completely uninstall every driver and reboot then install the drivers and etc etc.. but no use.
This issue was solved on my laptop but on my office system it still remains.

Office systems are maintained by a system engineer i guess, it could be possible that it contains a level of security that won't allow this.
You need admin rights for all of this, i bet you won't get that on your office system.

May be they apply some sort of security on the system but i found a simple way to download apks files and upload them to my HTC One X..
Simply i have installed a FTP Manager app on phone and then i access my phone root over the secure wifi.

USB Connection

My computer doesn't at all acknowledge my S3 when I plug it in to a USB port. I have used different cables, Don't have access to other computers to attempt, and it doesn't show my nexus 7 2013 either. It is getting quite irritating, as my SD card won't mount either. It used to work flawlessly but now I have no luck whatsoever. It doesn't even have a hint of existence in Device Manager. It doesn't charge from my laptop either.
I am running CarbonROM with BMS Kernel, have researched, and found no potential fixes that have worked for me. I am open to almost everything, even a full return to stock with Odin. Any help will be very much appreciated.
EDIT: Please PM me or quote me so that I immediately know when someone responds.
Thanks

Ok? Noob question, do the drivers deal with the hardware or software of my phone? If it is the software, it wouldn't work would it? Thanks.
Technically the only hardware is the port on the phone. If that's not working then it never will. Considering that it charges I would go to a TouchWiz ROM and see if the problem is your ROM.
My ROM: WICKED X
Thank you very much.
