There's a good chance that the international version and US version only differ in modem (baseband) firmware.
Also Oppo sent US devices to the members of the Omni team in the USA. My device is an X9006, not an X9007. (9006 is the US version, 9007 is intl I think) - I assume xplodwild got a 9007.

Hmm, at least one document I saw indicated 9007 was the international version.
The labels on my device say 9006 and I'm positive this is the US version as it has US LTE.

I find it very strange. I tried to install the alpha build of omni rom today and the flash keeps aborting
telling me I dont have a oppo find 7a by some prelimanary check script.
My phone advertises itself to the script as a "X9007", last time I checked this is a oppo find 7a.
So I have no clue as to why its rejecting unless its looking for only X9006. Any clues?

what do you mean by bricked? Its the same file downloaded from the given link. If you can extract the zip file successfully then it means the file isnt damaged. can you please give me more details?

I can't get into Recovery Mode with 4.4.2. After the blue "Booting in Recovery Mode" I get an red errorline and it boots up normally
Try 6.0.4.7 , it works fine with 4.4.2

for me it works perfect for several 4.4.2 Roms. I never try it for the new official Sammy 4.4.2, only for the CM11 and 2 other ROms availiable here on XDA and also for the original Sammy 4.2 I had when I got the phone. I can backup and recover all those roms. From what I read the new official 4.4.2 has a different structure so maybe thats why CWM fail with it. But for sure it works for 4.4.2, maybe just not for that original Version!?

Considering it's CM based, it's most likely that it won't work through Safestrap. If it does, you'll have issues similar to the common issues of the three GPE ROMs.

I have a Canadian I337M, and originally the ROM would not flash. I edited the updater-script and replaced all instances of "jflteatt" with "jfltecan" using 7Zip, saved it, and it flashed like a dream. Everything seems to work great except I got one dropout in Bluetooth audio but I'm still investigating to see if that was the phone or the other device.
Any other Canadians successfully using this?

You need to edit a file in the ZIP.
In the folder: META-INF\com\google\android\
Edit updater-script
Replace all instances of 'jflteatt' with 'jfltecan'.

This is not entirely correct. AOKP has reanimated almost a year ago. Meanwhile, you can find AOKP ROM's based on marshmallow again [emoji6]

Nowadays we "only" (note the quotation marks - at least we have CM!) have CM. I know it's offtopic, but are there any independent projects left? Dirty Unicorn? Carbon? All dead? For Paranoid, their main devs went to OnePlus and so I guess, dead too.

There is XOSP atm for the H811 only, maybe H815 will get it to. I dont know if it counts though.

As of right now there are no stable builds of any aosp and/or cm build for the HTC 10. All are testing or are in the works.

This is a known issue. It is being worked on by the dev's for CM13 and therefore for roms like this one that use CM13 as a base.
I assume then, this has the current - no front camera, etc issues?
