It really does look good, however, it crashes 10 seconds after I set it as my background. Looks like its not compatible with ICS yet and the last update was August 2011... Thanks for sharing though.

Oh man, lame. Anyone else confirm this? Any ICS users should email the dev with the android go play google play market app and ask him to update!

[Free promotion] Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation for Galaxy S3!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I haven't seen this anywhere and thought you guys might want to know...
Gameloft's Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation is now free on the Samsung Apps store, as seen here:
(okay i'm a new user and am not allowed to post outside links, but it's on the Samsung Apps website)
To find it on your device, launch Samsung Apps, scroll down to New, and it should be in there. Alternatively just search for the game title or "gameloft."
After it's done and you launch it for the first time you might get a license error, just let it check for a license online and the game should run! I haven't yet had time to download the game data (800+MB) to verify if the game is working but it should be working.
The description says you can enjoy the game as dual screen mode via Samsung's All Share Cast, which sounds cool but I can't test that either

I just made an app (a "Daydream") that will allow you to know the battery level of your phone while charging!
Once the phone has finished charging, you can select a custom font and size to display the result, so you know exactly when to pick it up!

I like the new interface. Ties in well with the Google Now traffic/commute card. Also seems smoother/quicker than the previous version. I see why Google made such a big deal about it at I/O.
Edit: Looks like the Navigation UI was updated as well! Idk if it's placebo or what but it also seems like the transition between Maps and Nav is a lot quicker now as well (both opening and exiting Nav).

Now this is nice, very nice. Interface reorganization was a must from the old maps. I like the way it transitions to Navigation like it's seamless. Before it felt as though I was using Maps to find my route and let it open another app to navigate me. Now it feels more streamlined, liking it so far.

They removed offline apps. I'm not normally one to complain, but that is awful. They might add it back, but removing such an important feature (especially while I'm in a foreign country ) is extremely annoying!
Looks good though, the design aesthetic is nice.

Dear devs,
You made Ace 2 a very decent and goodlooking device! Well done! But I had a question to you guys. I think that we just need one amazing ROM, that's called SlimBean/SlimROM. If anyone has the time and is keen on it to work on, it'd be great I think.

Love slimbean 7 on my Tab2 - on my ace2 would be perfect!

Sound works while calling but not working in other applications (Soundhound says "unable do detect a working microphone. Another app may have locket it") even when using asdfzz file.
There is no "60% volume" bug.
Camera is working
I will upload it tomorrow (I'm very tired now)

I recommend this ROM, it is awesome! Got it today after using Sakura droid v2 and spent an hour looking at settings! Its really customisable. Seems to run smooth, if it had mic in apps it would be perfect for me
