My app is out of BETA! Version 1.0 is released to the market with a shiny new pack
------------
Hi everyone,
I finally decided that my app is functioning reasonably well so I have released a Beta version to the Play Store. You can find it here:
As I said, it's a very early version of my first app but the main features work. With the app you can:
EXCLUSIVE (for now): get access to my new icon pack, Galaxy!
EXCLUSIVE (for now): download the 4th Addon for Splash! and the 1st Addon for Light Edge Glow!
Download and extract any of my packs
See which icon is present in which packs (search)
Request icons directly from the app / Play Store - for priority treatment
Donate to me if you feel like I deserve it
For the future I plan to add some new features including (but not only):
Ability to request icons directly from the app [DONE - BETA 2]
Improved search visually [DONE - BETA 2]
"Help" screen with a mini-tutorial on how to use this app [DONE - BETA 2]
Graphic showing status: download, extracted [DONE - BETA 2 & 3]
See which icons a pack contains [DONA - BETA 3] - click on Pack name (Main, Addon, etc.)
Notifications of new packs available or new contents for existing packs [not really needed in the current form of the app]
Please let me know what you think about it, if you have some suggestions or if you're good at Android programming (because I have a looooot of questions that need answering and would always welcome some help )
Enjoy!
Great App
Love the app easy to use and loving the new Blue Flare icons changed everything on my phone to the blue ones straight away. Will you be taking icon requests for the Blue Flare set on this thread or when you add them to your other icon thread?

Haha, didn't think of that...
Please use the other thread. Mention Blue Flare and the Plays Store link to the app you need the icon for.
Thank you
Great App!
Thanks!
But I got some suggestions for it:
1. Downloading icons:
After the download I don´t see, which pack is already inside the folder or rather is already downloaded.
The same is for the extraction of packs. A flag would be great to see, which pack is already extracted.
Splash! Icons especially:
Thank for AddOn 3
But for Addon 2, it´s not extracted in the splash-subfolder (/sdcard/IPM/splash/) but in another folder inside ../splash/.. (/sdcard/IPM/splash/Addon 2/).
Addon 1 & 3 are extracted inside the main - splash-folder.
Donation:
Will there a possibility to donate via play? Or just via paypal?
Future App suggestions:
Let the user choose the folder to extract the icons - nice to have - but not essential
Thats for the moment
Thank you for your feedback.
The idea with the flags is good. Will implement sth for the next update.
The issue with Splash_Addon_2 was with the zip file actually (it had the folder inside). I fixed it already.
As for donation, for now I will only have PayPal as an option but maybe in the future I will include some sort of in app purchase through the Play Store.
Finally, I don't think I will give the option to save anywhere the user wants because I would have to store that option somewhere and use the path for extraction and any other operations and it can get messy

I want to ask how to install those icons?
Do we need to install Go launcher?
Im using Apex launcher is there any way to change the icons?

I never used Apex but I think it has the option to change the icons for the apps shown on your Home Screens. Probably something like long-press on an icon and then an option to change it should appear.
Then simply browse to the /IPM/<Icon Pack Name> folder on your SD Card and from there select the icon.
Unfortunately this has to be done manually for every app on your Home Screens that you want to change.
I will (eventually) create ADW icon packs and then it will be a bit easier but it may take a while.
Let me know if you got it to work.
Good luck!
BETA 2 is out!
Hi everyone,
I just updated IPM to version BETA 2. I improved some stuff, added some stuff...
Added an on-screen menu.
Removed the Options Menu.
Improved the way Search looks.
Added a "How-to" explaining how to use this app and the icons.
Added notification messages for events like archive already downloaded, extracted.
Added a "status bar" to the Download buttons: white = not downloaded, green = downloaded
Added a "Request" option to let you ask for icons directly from the app. Instructions are in the Help section.
Still working on features and planning 1 or 2 new icon packs.
Please let me know what you think or if you have comments/questions
Requests?
I was wondering if you would like to see some specific feature(s) added to this app. What else would you like it to do?
Also, just a thought, any other icon designers out there who would be interested in having their packs included in this app? I am not saying I will do this soon, nor do I know if I actually want to do it. I was just curious if anyone would be interested in such a thing.
PS: Thanks to all of you who downloaded this! I have almost 400 downloads
Version 1.0
Version 1.0 just got released to the market. Expect a shiny new pack
Hi everyone! For the longest time I've searched over the internet and XDA for a proper Helvetica Neue Light font pack. After trying various premade font packs and combining others, not one single font pack contained the proper, original fonts. Some font packs contained hinted versions of the font, which I think look absolutely hideous. Without any luck, I stopped searching and decided to create my own Helvetica Neue Light font pack.
Below are listed which weights were used in this font pack:
Regular:Light
Light: Thin
Thin: Ultralight
Bold: Light (But rendered slightly thicker)
Condensed: Same
Bold-Cond.: Same
Because I favor the lighter fonts, I obviously chose the lighter weight fonts for each type rather than the original weight. These fonts are not hinted and look absolutely gorgeous on the high-res screen. The fonts are similar to those used in iOS 7. The only problem with these fonts are with the alignment. Most of the time it's perfect. Sometimes the alignment can be off; I do not know how to fix it. Anyways, I’ve attached a few screenshots to show how the font looks throughout Android.
Download in attatchments.
Thanks for this. Is it ok to flash on sence based ROMs?

+1
What rom are you running?
Yes it should work. In fact it should work on most, if not all, 4.3 and 4.4 roms.
seems does not work on viperone3.1rc2
Any chance for a revert zip just in case we want to go back without reinstalling entire ROM?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I just made the revert flashable zip in attachment
I love it but...

Wow mate, this looks gorgeous! I appreciate your work!
FOR ANYONE WHO SAYS IT DOESNT WORK: Extract all fonts from .zip and copy them manually with root explorer in directory /system/fonts/
I have a question though... I see my HTC M8 already have more types of default font and because of that when I copy your files to my phone system/fonts/ directory, it doesnt replace all the files... :/ Some of the files stay from Roboto font...
I have included an image where are shown all default fonts, so is it maybe possible for you to include missing fonts and post them here so I can change all of default fonts? I would really appreciate it... Because right now a lot of times there is Helvetica, but sometimes some apps, or some headings, or subheadings, or titles are still in Roboto font...
Thank you again for everything
Kind regards
I post this minimal mod here though it is a very simple one, just because I think that many of us dislike the default icons of contacts that are infesting system wide secContacts.apk, IncallUi, messages, email and so on....
After flashing a touchwiz based rom, I usually replace those icons with the standard icon extracted from the stock google dialer (the gray one) which is by far more serious and not so creepy. It is obviously not difficult and does not even involve decompiling the apks, nor signing them (if they are system apps), but still it requires some time to replace the drawables inside the various apk files. I sometimes made my own VRthemes to replace such icons, but still even such way is not so easy and fast.
But I recently installed this wonderful xposed module, named resflux http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/resflux-easy-android-theming-xposed-t2790940 by WisdomSky, which has got a huge potential and allows everyone to make a dummy proof theming without decompiling anything.
The credit obviously goes to WisdomSky, I just post a link https://www.dropbox.com/s/remjjpo7qo360hr/Resflux.zip where you can find the very simple themes I made and which can be imported trough resflux.
You just have to unzip the file and save the 6 zip files inside it to the resflux folder of your phone (resflux will create such folder by itself) and later on you will able to import such themes by resflux itself.
I am using this themes with a 4.4.2 DN3 Rom, as I wrote above, but it could work even for any other rom (though it hasn't been tested) unless the apk are different.
Anyway, if my theme should not apply, in case the apks should not macth, still it would be very easy to follow the instructions in the thread by WisdomSky I linked above and to replace the drawables inside contacts, messages, email, incallui and the 2 favourite contacts widgets.
Regarding resflux, it is still in its first stages, so I saw that some mods don't get applied: i.e. I tried to theme the S5 launcher by replacing the drawer icon and the default folder icon with the one of the GEL launcher, but reflux was unable to do it. No problem, I replaced those icons by hand without using resflux
Sounds cool, do you have any screenshots?

It simply replaces the icons of the touchwiz with the google ones.

Thanks, it is a great app. To be true, later on I themed the single apk files, but this app is very handy because it allows you to test your mod in a few minutes and to go back if you are not satisfied without any effort.

Do you mean you dislike the icons I replaced, or have you been unable to apply the mod?
It's great that there are OEMs like LG that provide this level of customization out of the box. The option that sounded the most interesting was the ability to change fonts without using root methods. The only problem I've found is that all the fonts one can download from SmartWorld are pretty hideous.
I know I can change the system font with several root apps, but this method is sketchy and was responsible for bricking one of my phones in the past. The SmartWorld fonts are installed as an APK if I'm not mistaken. My knowledge of how APKs are structured is fairly limited, but I was wondering if it would be possible to decompile one of the font APKs (if necessary. Again, not incredibly familiar with them), change the font file to a custom one, and install it on the G3 in a way that it would act like any other SmartWorld installed font and can be selected from the Settings > Display > Font type menu.
TL;DR is it possible to install a custom, non-SmartWorld font as if it were from SmartWorld and use it with the stock font changing settings? Thanks in advance.
I would love to know this as well.
UPDATE:
I used to use ifont on my GS4 but it wouldn't work on my LG G3. It used to cause boot loops but apparently they must have fixed and made it compatible and now it works flawlessly.
Please hit the thanks if I have helped you.
Me too having the same doubt. Since the SmartWorld fonts are working well, so the other fonts can also work with some customizations.. I hope any of the developers will come forward and do it..
Can someone upload a font apk from smart world? Trying to figure this out now.

MyColorScreen
Hi all. Lately I got some old M9 phone and found out that HTC theme service has defuncted, but it seem still works in my phone, I mean I still can change some colors and wallpapers. So yesterday I have been searching info about how all this stuff works and found storage location of the themes on my phone. It is something like android/data/com.htc.launcher/files/CustomTheme/com.htc.theme.custom.11468136-de37-4c97-9dc9-8e9fb19c94e1
So now I'm trying to find the way how to edit this files and add my own font into it also add icons pack and apply it manually. So need some help with it. Maybe here is some info how to make full theme with fonts and custom colors by editing files in storage.
Also Looking one dark theme from HTC Sense Home app that calls "Tilt Theme", maybe some one has it downloaded and can share with me would be nice cuz this theme has a good clock font that I want to have to myself
