Got an S5. Posted my Note 3 on eBay.
Played with S5 for 2 days. Canceled eBay listing. Returned S5 to store. Returned to Note 3.
Anyone almost defected?
I find the S5 very impressive. An abundant of awesome features.
But in the end, I missed the size of the Note.
Once go big, can't go any smaller
LOL! Is there a different feeling in your hand? What awesome features does S5 have?
A buddy of mine just got a S5, I wasn't very impressed....just...meeh.
Yeah a friend of mine got the S5 coming from a Note 2. The phone is about the same overall size and much smaller screen with larger bezels. I came from the S4 to the Note3 and the S5 would have been a nice jump from the S4 but not the Note 3. The only thing nicer is the isocell shooter. The 801 SoC is 2.5ghz but is 2.3ghz in every other phone. They really are the same chip just the S5's is actually overclocked. The gpu is the same as well just ours is clicked at 550mhz the S5 is at 578mhz. I don't need to buy a new phone to overclock my cpu and gpu. The new features likely will come to the Note 3 as well.
I was originally come on to post good luck with the S5, you may regret it. But it only took to2 days and already switched back lol

I dunno about that edge 2 edge screen unless it's somehow unbreakable, a little bezel makes bumper cases much easier and they're the lowest profile, so my favorite...
They are going for on screen buttons?
Lol you do know that the photo is the same exact one that was used to show what the S5 was going to look like back in December. So that was wrong so now they are regurgitating that photo and using it to say that will be the new Note 4.
I can JUMP on May 2nd, and I plan on getting the S5 and keeping it until the Note 4. The size will be weird, but I'm bored with the Note 3, and I want a waterproof phone.
I almost believed that it would look like that. LOL! But it looks good.
The photo is a non issue for me. I linked because what the Samsung exec said..☺☺
BTW. I don't give a £u©k. What the phone looks like it will be my next. ?

I bought the Tmobile S5 full retail, to keep unlimited data. The camera, display, and battery are the best available. Getting 7-8 hours of screen on time is a breath of fresh air!

I get that on my note 3 with over a day of battery life just fine. Tweak your phone right and it lasts a long time.

I'm in the same boat as you and this is sort of my plan as well. I'm just torn between the two phones. I'm not sure if I'll miss the size. I guess it's only for a few months until the Note 4 comes out if I do regret it.

I'm averaging 9 hours of screen time per charge. I've gotten as much as 11 hours and never less then 7 hours of screen time with my Note 3. The S5 is nice but overall I still don't think it's as good as the Note 3. The Note 3's real competition with be the lg g3, the lg g pro 2 or the Note 4. The sd 800 and 801 are the same chip really just the 801 is overclocked and I can overclock the Note 3.

It wont be long and my upgrade be here. So I was wondering if I should get this or the s3. I like this one and the fact that is a quad-core and samsung have the same build hardware on all of the note 2. But I also like all the gestures features from the s3

Like automatic calling somebody from text by just put your phone in the ear, Smartview. Screenshot by swiping your hand on the screen, etc etc. Those features really caught my eye. but wasnt sure if the note 2 have them. I guess I'll go with the note 2. Thanks guys

Ill tell you what. after using it my s3 feels tiny . almost iphone 4 tiny ........ Btw get the note Trust me i have both
I hate to stir the pot, and I know that it hasnt been talked about yet, but if your upgrade is not here yet and u have some time to wait I would wait for the Galaxy S 4. Now wait! Let me explain! I am currently the very proud owner of the Note 2 with T mobile. This is the best phone on the market, with all of the great Hardware with excellent software to match. I mean the innovation and true attention to detail is unmatched. But I have read some rumors, yeah rumors, that the S4 will be a beast also in a smaller form. I love the huge screen of the Note 2, but you are trying to choose between the Note 2 and S3 so I take that to mean that you are on the fence and the extra screen size really isn't that important. Maybe the power is what u are seeking. Word on the street is that the S4 will bring in new tech, edge to edge screen, quad core, 1080p screen, 2gb ram, new software features, and new design. These things are not outside of the realm of reality and as we can all see Samsung is on a roll. I think this year they found their groove, and they can only get better from here. They are suppossed to announce this sometime end of January and into February. I say all this to say, if u are thinking Note 2 vs. S3. Don't do it as the S3 is so last year. The note 2 is basically the precursor to what we can expect for 2013. Think more like Note 2 vs. S4
Written from my Beast T Mobile Note 2
Also not that its much different but the S3 will NOT be getting LTE on tmobile from what I've heard and the Note will get LTE. Now as far as the Nexus 4, the biggest issue is that it's made by LG Booooo!
Sold my s3 for this phone. No regrets.
From the Best: Note 2
Yeah that is a dissapointed for me too Nexus 4 from LG gosh. I had the G2X and LG support sucks. Really guys I am a little nervous I have the S2 but it have a lot of problems with the noise reduction where other people hears an echo. And if you flash aosp rom or miui they say you sound like underwater and there is not a fix really. I really like how samsung did with their TW but I dont want another samsung and is going to have the same problem as my s2 with call quality. But The s3 and the note2 are really good phones!! The S4 announced in Jan or Feb? The s2 and s3 were announced late of year. I think its too soon for them to release the S4 and by the time i think it will I will have another upgrade lol. The big screen doesnt bother me. When I got my S2 it was big and at first it was wow. But then if I play with another phone like the Amaze It feels weird because of all the small icons. lol

The Note 2 is a different level then the S3, has all the same features and more, and has a much better processor then the S3. It's just about whether the screen size is too big for you.
And I wouldn't worry about waiting for the S4 or Note 3. The S4 might be announced at MWC but I don't think that will happen so soon and the Note won't have a sequel till at least Oct-Nov of next year. Then it'll take at least 2-4 months before the first US carriers get them. So the Note 2 will be king of the hill for quite some time, barring HTC's Dlx when it comes out.
noted for future reference on my Note 2
Either you have been living under a rock, or... who knows. This video will answer your questions, and pretty much make up your mind for you. It's long, but thorough.
Colfustion's Review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2
And to the bloke who recommended waiting for the S 4... just stop. Recommending non existent hardware just makes you sound silly. It will have a processor similar to the Note 2, a smaller screen, no S-Pen... etc. Not a very good comparison.
I've got both.. and honestly can't make a decision - have to sell one - need the cash.
GOing back to the S3 from the Note, it feels positively TINY...
but, the Note really does feel big; and I've got pretty big hands... whether its too big or not, I guess its partly personal choice and partly ease of use - I don't think I can honestly say that the Note 2 is always easy to operate with a single hand -
Also, to be honest, the alternate rom scene, at least for the T-Mobile Note 2, is pretty limited - I'm not sure if there'll be any "original" android development for it as I guess to make use of the S-pen etc, a vanilla android rom just wouldn't have the features (I'm only guessing here). Most of the rom development would be those "de-bloated/de-odexed/zip aligned" versions of stock TouchWiz rom which claim to mysteriously give longer battery life. I'm currently on the Jedi Rom on my Note 2 and not really sure how different it is to the stock rom.
On my S3, I've got Task's Rom, and it truly made a huge difference to the battery life - to the point I'm comfortable returning to the standard Samsung battery form the extended Hyperion 4200 mAH one I had bough due to the horrible battery life the S3 has (on cellular internet) when on the stock rom - with Task's rom, there is a marked, appreciable improvement in battery life.
Right, coming back, I still can't figure out which one to keep and which one to sell - I'm pretty sure, whichever decision I take, I'll regret it cos both the S3 and Note 2 are really and truly excellent products!!!.

The phone has been out for less than a month in the US. I think the ROMs will come, in time. Plus, the battery in the Note 2 is amazing... ever try running the battery down to 5% on purpose? It's actually harder than I thought it would be! That's the beauty of the Note 2; the battery is big enough, by itself, that minimal changes are needed to constantly see 24+ hours on one charge. I have had both the S3 and now the Note 2, and I would never recommend an S3 over the Note. The S-Pen alone is > any wizbang S3 thing out there!

I wasn't making a point about the Note's battery life - it really is pretty good - what I waas trying to say was, the S3 alternate ROM scene is very vibrant; the particular ROM I've got currently make a noticeable diff. in battery life; based on my guess work I'm not very sure if the same would happen for the Note.
Seems like all of the Note 2 series including the international one are the same hardware. Why not make it a worldwide phone with a universal radio. or Like on my Sensation? I may be wrong but in any case do like the tmobile version of the s2 and the skyrocket which are very similar phones

Had the S3 before the note 2. And the Note 2 is a lot faster then S3. But with the S4 coming in a month maybe you should hold off.

I was in the same predicament. I have the original Galay S 4g and was wanting to upgrade as the phone was experiencing some problems. I debated whether to wait another 7-9 months for the Note 3, but ultimately decided I could keep this phone for at least 2-3 years before needing to upgrade (especially with all the ROM support that kept my old phone alive and will most certainly keep the N2 alive for years).
I believe the N3 will have a faster processor, better battery and slightly better battery but won't be 'revolutionary' (much like the Galaxy S4). IMO, it'll take at least another generation before the phone will be significantly upgraded to make waiting worth it.
The N4 will most likely have a smaller footprint, near indestructible glass and perhaps a flex screen/wraparound. To me, that'd be worth it. Until then, I'm waiting on my Note 2 to arrive and will enjoy it for the next couple of years. Plus, the fact you can pick one up for $550-$650 new doesn't hurt either compared to the suspected $899 price the N3 will come out for.

Ive been watching prices on Ebay and Craigslist and have seen prices falling to at least these levels if not lower for some models (like the Sprint version) in the past couple of weeks.
Not uncommon to find one below 550 even if you are patient.
The main difference is size. If you like 1 handed use you will hate the note 2. Unless of course you have med to large hands then it my not be an issue.
Things I noticed. I don't use the stylus or multiview anymore.
When I go to the gym I take my s3 as its easier to use hen I'm listening to music.

I don't use the stylus either and often times I think the phone is slightly too big. I like the size of my wife's S3 better. I got the Note2 (back in November 2012) to be future-proof. With LTE around the corner I'm glad I got the Note2. If I was in the market for a new phone now, I would wait for the S4.
Personally I think the north american S3 is more like a S2.5 with the dual core processor and no LTE. The S3 should've had the Note2's quad core processor and LTE modem (Note2 is the pseudo S3). Thus the S4 is more like a S3.5 since we'll probably get the quad core instead of the octo.
As an owner of both devices, I would stay with the the S3. It's a great phone, well built, awesome specs, and a good development for it. It fits more natural in the hand then the note 2.

I have both
I have both right now I am using the s3 because I dropped my note 2 and cracked the screen. But trust me you want the note2. It is definitly superior to the s3. The battery life is fantastic compared to the s3. With my s3 I had to be rooted and pull out every trick in the book just to be able to deal with it. The note2 has the best battery life ever and thats right out of the box. It is way faster and they already activated the LTE modem in it with the latest update. The s3 will not get the lte modem activated for at least another few months. To me there is no comparison its note2 all the way. I even think the note2 will be better than the s4 or at least comparable. I think the int s4 is getinng a crazy processor I think I misunderstood but it looked like it will have 4 cores running at 1.9 and another 4 running at 1.6 like ours for a total of 8 but I am not too sure of that exactly. I do know that the us version will have the same processore we have now and they are listing the same reason as last time that the new processor isnt compatable with LTE. So I think that if they have a note3 in the works it will get the int s4 processor and that will be the new phone for us note 2 users to get next. Sorry for the long winded answer.

that's because the North American dual core S3 has 2gb of ram while the international quad core S3 and int'l HTC One X (the other quad core phone that came out at the same time) have 1gb. I don't think the north american S3 spanked quad cores, rather it kept up. plus that was 8-9 months ago. My point is that the S3 isn't very future-proof.
Did the north american S3 get multiview from carriers? I know the international version got it and you can hack-add it to the north american S3.
this is a good video comparing the dual core vs quad core S3, but it was made in Summer 2012. I'm curious what the comparison would be like now with newer apps like the Samsung Premium Suite (mutliview, etc).
I worry the S4 will suffer a similar fate. By Christmas 2013 (if not by halloween) we'll see octo-core LTE phones, making the S4's king-of-the-hill status very short lived. imagine the apps that'll come out in 2014 that'll run better on a octo than a quad.
i would get the note 2. i actually just got mine. i was looking to trade my nexus 4 and cash for the note but i find alot of people were trying to screw me over so i just went to tmobile the other day and got it myself. anyways i love stock android and i said i would never had another samsung phone after i had the original galaxy s on sprint but so far i'm liking it. the battery life seems good so far but i'm wait after a week to comment because the battery needs to condition first. i love the multi screen view. i used it to get directions from maps and send them in a text. very handy to me. i wont use it everyday but its there when i need it. plus i wanted to get a sdcard capable phone. also i wanted to future proof myself since lte comes to my area. i get great tmobile service where i live. the S4 and note 3 will have 1080p screens and such and faster processors (only really matters if you do intense things on the phone. i have finally learned that) so taking this into account. i decided on not waiting and i got the note 2. we will never had the latest tech because its new one day and old the next in the tech world.

When you get a new device you're always excited over it. I felt the same about my note 2 a few months ago and praised it. For me multi screen I thought was awesome til I realized it is cumbersome as it didnt launch an app in split view right away. I had to run one app first through multi view then run the other app so it can split. And multiview apps are limited in stock form. Spen was great too as I like to photoshop a lot and that I can write notes and even converts my writing to actual text. Now I don't really use it anymore as I type faster with swiftkey than writing and i dont photoshop as much. Most of the time I forget I have a stylus lol. All the hover stuff I like but thats gonna be in the s4 too which is only a month away so as far as waiting, it isn't too long from now. If we're talking several months then that's a different story IMO. I think the OP should wait it out....

New to this forum, coming over from the Vibrant. Hello everyone!
I just got my note 2 from tmobile. Best upgrade price they could give me was $369, but by adding the phones to my plan rather than upgrading, I was able to get them for 199 each (after rebate.). Then I cancelled my old lines. New numbers, but who cares. That's what I paid for my vibes years ago, and they're running great still (on pacman 4.2.2).
I love this phone. About the only thing I don't like is the bloat, but it doesn't seem to affect it. Maybe I'll root it just to get rid of that, but honestly I don't think it needs it. Battery is awesome as it is.

Exactly! S5 downgrade as far as I'm concerned. I have a strange feeling I'm going to be on Note devices for a long while. Already saving money for the N4.
Just get the Note 4 when it comes out. I thought the whole purpose was screen size?
The note series are the true flagship phones of Samsumg, dont think they knew the goldmine they were sitting on when they released it. Its an insult to get rid of a note 3 so quickly for a galaxy S device when we all know the next note is just a 4-5 months away from being revealed with far superior specs. No interest in the S5. The LG G Pro 2 looks pretty sweet, but I'll probably wait for the Note 4. I just hope they don't make it ridiculously big. The HTC One Max and Xperia Z Ultra are too big for my pockets.
If the leaked benchmark scores are correct, the S5 is actually slower then the Note 3. The S5 scored 35k and change where the Note 3 (at least mine on stock) scored 36,922. which isn't anything major. but who wants to buy a new phone thats slower then a phone that was released 4 months ago? I knwo the screen will be higher res, but you wont be able to see the difference anyway.
Plus, no Spen (which is 1 reason I got my Note 3) and a 1/2 inch smaller screen. I highly doubt I'll ever go smaller then the Note 3 at this point going forward. And who's to say it will come with an unlocked bootloader like the Note 3 has.

In a sticky situation right now. My phone just died on Verizon and I need a new phone. Unfortunately I'm still under contract for another 9 months so I have to pay full price for a new phone or I can jump to Tmobile and have them pay my ETF but then I have to buy a phone from them. I don't want to spend more then $350 on something and I want to be able to unlock it and use it with AT&T at some point.
I can pick up the Note 2 as a refurb for $344 or I can get a Nexus 4 for $324. I guess what I'm wondering is whether or not the Note 2 is worth spending that much on?? Should I just ride out my contract for 9 months and get my old phone fixed (Razr Maxx HD $200 to fix)? Is there another phone I should consider?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Nexus 4 for $342?? I can't even sell my brand new Nexus 4 for $180 AUD.
I would not get a refurb Note II for $344, it's not worth it. You can get brand new for a bit more online.

If I pay $200 to get out of my contract with Verizon I can get anything. I'm looking at jumping to Tmobile since they'll cover the ETF cost. Only catch is I have to buy a phone from them. So whats a good Tmobile phone that will work on ATT under $350? I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible. Otherwise I would just cancel for $200 and get a nexus 5 for $400.
Hi there,
YES it is still worth buying the Note 2. I had both phones, Nexus 4 and Note 2 and the Nexus 4, compared to the Note 2, was garbage. Nexus 4s battery is small (mAh), display colors were washed out, the speaker was completely crap when listening to music, etc. That's just my experience.
Better get the Note 2
I moved on to the Galaxy S5 and maaaan, do I miss my Note 2. That's all I need to say LOL
Okay so price of the note 2 refurb'd w/tax and shipping is about $330. I know I can buy brand new on Amazon for roughly $60 more but I have to buy from Tmobile if I want my ETF covered and they only sell a refurb'd note 2.
I'll probably go this route then unless there are any other suggestions. Thanks!
Absolutely! Its still fast as hell, even on KitKat and Im sure will remain to be so for the near future.
Note 2 still kick ass and I love it. But I think u should get a newer phone.

I'd take Note 2 over S4 (even S5) any time!
Allow me give you my opinion on this. I strongly believe the Note 2 is a remarkable device for the following reasons and I would still chose it over any other phones.
- It still has one of the best battery life of Samsung devices. I know... the Note 3 has 100mah more but that doesn't suffice, having a 1080p screen, more pixels means more drainage. Also, it has a more powerful octa-core processor (a nice pro) but again with great power comes even greater battery drainage, remember that.... lol The Knox app components which constantly guards the phone from illegal privileged access is also a resource hog (RAM) and hiders the phone even more (coming from 4.3 I have that experience). Take a look at the Huawei Ascend Mate 2, they are doing it correctly... keeping 720p resolution (which is dense enough imo) and a gigantic 4050mah, make it the longest running phone (not tablet) on the market at the time of this writing.
- The screen is 720p, as I discussed already has its benefits on battery, furthermore, it is the only flagship device by Samsung that isn't pentile. This means full RGB sub-pixel for every single pixel. It is a true-HD display. While its not as dense as other phones, it still can hold its ground very well. I am scared for the note 4, Samsung will make it a 2k display, instead of focusing on what really matters. 2k on screens below 7inches is a waste of technology. 10-12 inch tablet with 2k displays and larger batteries, now you are talking.
- It is made polycarbonate plastic, as with all Samsung phones, can be regarded as a pro. As CPUs get faster it generates more heat. Metals heat very quickly and can make you feel uncomfortable when holding while running CPU-intensive tasks. I think even though metals can dissipate heat well, if run too long it, exposes the internals to heat and wear the internals faster. But one definite pro of polycarbonate is improved reception, I assure you, along with other benefits, naturally scratch resistant, lighter, and more durable. When I look at a phone, I don't care for "premium feel", I care for quality of operation.
- Lastly, camera. Sadly, I must admit the Note 2 doesn't have the top optics, as it improves rapidly with technology. But after lots and lots of reading and comparing, I found that the Galaxy S4 has produces the best quality/sharpness/color IHMO, bar NONE (not even Lumia 1020 which captures more detail, but fails at color reproduction). The Note 2 does inherit the S4's color reproduction traits, so that's good. But the best all-rounder (ie. in low light, good light, night mode etc) I have to give it to Iphone 5s. Well done Apple, even if you do not belong here. lol
Video strangely doesn't fall into the same category as photo, as the S4 gives murky, blurry 1080p videos. For the best video I nominate the S5 at 4k, clear even when zoomed in at the slightest detail, thanks to 16MP camera. This is improvement from what used to be the best, Note 3, which is blurred when zoomed in. No, optical image stabilization sadly, but that comes later. Even so the Note 2, doesn't slouch and gives its best in both categories. It also produces the loudest audio, and all devices after the S4 has poor speaker sound quality.
So, there you have it, my long explanation of why I would still choose the Note 2 over S4, Note 3, or S5, even if it breaks now. Samsung really hit the nail on the head when it made the S3/Note 2 generation, and I hope they will again someday. Was the very best, make history, and set a good example for generations to follow.
Thanks everyone! Definitely helped make this decision much easier than I thought it would be. My note 2 arrives today and then I'll active it with T-mobile. I plan on unlocking it after the 40 day wait period is up with T-mobile and bringing it over to AT&T. From my research that shouldn't be an issue as T-mobile and AT&T share all the same bands outside of one that AT&T uses for 4G LTE. Curious to know if anyone has done this previously?
On another note (no pun intended :laugh, I've been looking into installing a custom ROM once I get it. I love cyanogenmod but curious if there are other recommendations I should consider? This may need to be in another thread so I can move it if needed.
I bought my Note 2 about 450$ in Samsung brand shop at April 2014, it worth because my work need 3G always on to check email or contact with boss (my country not have 4G LTE)

In my opinion, CyanogenMod isn't a good idea for this phone. It has some annoying bugs and you lose ALL the SPen features. I'd recommend you to install any TouchWiz based Rom.
Note 2 screen is outdated though.
onagric places
Yeah, original Note screen is better
I had a Note 2 and bought a Nexus 4 as backup when my Note 2 was being repaired. I was thinking that I might switch to Nexus as android is a big interest of mine and it would be wonderful to get all the new features quick.
It was a big relief to get my Note 2 back from the shop. The Nexus 4 doesn't last a whole day (with my usage pattern). The external speaker volume is to low. And its very slippery! (had to buy the LG bumper).
Recently upgraded to a Sony Z2 and it feels like a smaller upgrade than I expected, coming from the Note 2. Its was/is an awesome phone.
Hi everyone. I just wanted to make a thread and see how many people were jumping ship to the newer devices. And why?
Note 4? - Is it really worth the upgrade right now?
Note Edge? - Is the new curved edge display gonna be functional enough being that it is completely new tech?
I'd like this to be a spot where we can debate differences, pros, and cons. Really just looking for other people's input because I'm really torn between the Note 4 and Note Edge.
Also my Note 2 is still in perfect condition, runs great, and does everything I need it to still. So I'm also deciding if I really need to upgrade or not. Decisions, decisions ?????
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

I am making the jump. I think the edge will end up like the Mega forgotten about shortly after its release.

Thank you for your input ?
Right now the only selling point for me with the Edge is just that WOW factor when someone does see you have it they'll probably be like "woah what phone is that", because of the edge screen.

Yea it has the wow factor. But they displayed the phone a year ago when they talked about the galaxy round which never made it to the U.S
I can't help myself...
I want a new phone every year. I know that some need to change even more often, but I get trapped into thinking I "need" the better screen, camera, etc. I love the Note product line. I've had all three. I have to say that the Note II was by far the best upgrade, so far. In fact, to be honest, going from the Note II to the Note 3 had as many downsides as upsides in my opinion. From my personal experience, the camera was not better - it had more features (mostly useless), but the autofocus did not function as well as the Note II. I had more blurry pictures on my Note 3 than ever on my Note II. You start to realize that once you get a good camera, the upgrade to higher MP isn't as important as having a good camera that just works. That was one of the letdowns I had with the Note 3. The other is battery life. First of all, the orignal Note had a horrible battery life and I thought that was just going to be the price of having for an enormous phone with a great screen. but the Note II solved that issue in spades! The upgrade to the Note II was worth it just for the battery life alone. The Note 3 on the other hand was a pretty serious downgrade in battery performance... at least from my experience. Which brings me to the topic of this thread (finally)...
I'm very concerned that the battery life will take a step backwards from the Note 3 to the Note 4. The screen on the Note 4 is unbelievable, but there is a price to pay in the battery. I find it crazy that the battery size was not bumped up to accomodate. I know they stated in their intro that it was something like 7% more battery efficient than the Note 3, but I don't think THEY even believed that, because it was just thrown in at the end. Instead they spent time talking about how they made it faster charging. I don't know about you, but I don't want to plug my phone in during the day, every day; even if it is only for 30 minutes for a quick charge. Battery life is just too important to me, as I learned from the original Note and I don't want to go backwards AGAIN. the Note Edge has an even slightly smaller battery and the extra screen that seems to have an "always-on" feature. I'm even more worried about that one.
Hmmm. Maybe I'll sell my Note 3 and buy a Note II and pretend that is my annual upgrade. HA!
FYI, last weekend, i saw the edge at best buy's on display on friday in san francisco. i went back on monday to see it again and it was removed.
Just setting up my edge right now, coming from n1, n2 and n3. Loved my n2 the best. Just got it a couple hours ago, but it's cool. Was going to get a n4 but they were out of stock.

I plan on getting the nexus 6 in a few months. I like the shape of it. Dual front facing speakers. Pure stock. I don't use the s-pen often. I have had the original note now the 2. I use straight talk prepaid AT&T Sim so the international 6 will be a perfect fit. And by February I may find one a llittle cheaper. I like the note series but the nexus 6 has the bigger screen and less crap and no TW. And I dont have to root it to have a pure stock android experience. I like the note 4 but I just like the N6 better.
