So I Made It To Work On Android 4.2+ Xperia™ Devices Rooted
This Keyboard Will Only Works For Xperia™ Devices Running Official Android 4.2 Jelly Bean +
As It's Not Working On Some Devices,So Maybe Root Was Needed...

I've been playing with it since I found it on the S3 forum earlier on Slim ICS and it works but if you exit and then go back into it you get S-Voice is not responding. If you clear data it's all good to go again so it's fun to play with. It'll probably work better on Samsung ROM's but was surprised when I managed to use it to call home and was going to text my mum as a test.

Try to delete vlingo.apk from system/app and paste this in system/app and set permissions and reboot
Refuses to install on stock LP 8 as an apk .

It probably has some missing dependencies which is why it isn't speaking responses. I don't have the issue with taking too long between commands but as I said in my first post, it doesn't like being closed and opened again for a second time on mine.

tried it again now its working fully
maybe it had problems regarding server
now follows conversation and stuff
Work only on ICS Samsung based Roms! Not work on CM and AOKP rom
Install instructions: (Do not forget to make a backup first)

still the same problem
Doh, I made a copy of my clockpackage (well, renamed it), flashed the zip, and the apk is corrupt (can't be passed). I tried copying manually, but it fails. Only happens on this apk file as can copy others in fine. Now I can't get my old one back either....
EDIT: Turns out my system rom was full (only 200k remaining). I removed a couple of frozen system apps and it appeared copied fine

Why did you decide that I will make the keyboard port? I do not see anything useful in the S3 keyboard to deal with it...

You cannot install this app as a normal apk. You have to push it to system/app overwriting the old one and change the permissions to rw-r-r
By the way, it doesn't matter whether the app is 10 mb or 13 mb, they are exactly the same

Yes you can, all APKs from Update Center can be installed as normal apps. By the way, you may want to check your upload, it may be corrupt, I couldn't install it in my uncle's Xperia M dual running 4.3 (application not installed), while the one uploaded by @inunxelex worked fine...

Most probably it will work on 4.1.2, just install it like a normal apk or push into system/app.

Try moving it to system/app and replace the previous walkman app and make sure the walkman apk you downloaded is not corrupted.:fingers-crossed:

You have to deodex your rom. It will not work in odexed rom. Search out a thread for stock deodexed rom or use some custom rom as it is already deodexed and have superuser mod. I am using existenz ultra v2.0.5 and it installed as a normal apk and runs without any force close

Working on my rooted only Xperia Z with 5.0.2
@anakdayak He forgot to add the .odex file
Try this one no need for superuser mode
Move the files to system/apps with the correct permissions FOR ALL FILES AND FOLDERS and reboot
Tested on my Xperia Z2 rooted and then unrooted

Can share the flashable superuser mod for stock odex 270? I'm prefer not to use xposed framework by serjr.

Mine is deodex-ed. If you retain the odex, you're not modifying the file and hence there's no need for superuser mod as the SEMC signature is retained. It's the same thing.

That's what we need to install it on rooted devices without superuser mode
I tried the one from system dump files but it doesn't work and when I added the .odex file to your port it works.
Would you like to add it to the first post it will help the others here

hi @lee480 thanks for your porting working fine on my rooted z2 but can I ask you a question what what the error ? and how do you fix it ? my logcat said that their was an error in getting permission for the app he needed to have these permission :

Probably the new Xperia Z3+ lockscreen has some permission to change some lockscreen settings that our present software doesn't support.
