With the latest updates (HTC_IME mod keyboard) I have no use for the Android / Verizon keyboard is there a way to uninstall this? I have checked in apps but its not under Android Keyboard or Verizon?
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance
Lee
I can find the Touch keyboard (I think) and the HTC_IME mod but not the Android one..
its not a problem having the keyboard its just nice to free up some phone memory...

Great, I have 2 change requests:
1. The candidates highlights colours are still green. But they should be blue.
2. Black keys would fit more to our sgs2 than white.
ive posted up anougher option with black primary keys as for changing the candidate highlights to blue,i will need more time
Take all the time you want. No hurry

what's the difference between this and the HTC IME mod that you can theme yourself?
is this keyboard multi-touch?
can we have those blue buttons in grey instead?
I unfortunately do not get it out, did everything according to the described procedure done in under Languages & keyboard chops, but unfortunately I'm still propagated even the "old" keyboard?
Rom LeoMar75 if this helps any further and it is guilt?
Thank you in advance.
Thanks works super

EDIT: I was too fast, it seems to freeze when I press reply in emails.

ummmmmmm might not be compatible with that perticular rom
works great for me, though I don't use the default e-mail app so can't replicate the freezing.
Thanks!
What htc ime version is it? I already got one that doesnt require installation of the clicker_hi.apk or whatever its called, so just wondering if there are any differences?
thank you so much
works great
works on the Epic touch perfectly!
Same problem with stock's email app in SGS2
OMG...reminds me of my HTC years lol...
This is a great keyboard, but really need to get it working with the stock email app before its of any real use.
Keep up the good work and hopefully you will be able to sort this issue
Can you put in gray and black?
I'm guessing you can't edit this using the kitchen that the original creator has can you? Idk.

Hi everyone,
I recently had HTC One V and I really liked it UI and everything, few days ago I have bought Samsung Galaxy S2 and having few issues with the keyboard, I really don't like its keyboard or the skwyp (alot of bugs and I just don't like it), I really want HTC One V keyboard on my current phone ( Just keyboard ), Is there a way to get HTC One V keyboard on Samsung Galaxy S2?
Thanks
try this :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416
or this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436624
download high resolution from first link ,
direct link : http://www.hallerud.se/htc_ime_jonasl_hires_27.zip
IMPORTANT: If u don't do so the keyboard will force close
first install the 2 apk files. Normal install ( not system/app install ) , install both files ( clicker.apk and htc_ime.apk
second go to language and keyboards then enable it and go to its settings , and in the keyboard's settings choose language selection key and disable all languages except for only one language the one u will use
finally just enjoy sense keyboard on ur S2 , and don't forget to hit the thanks button
Isn't this nothing more than a key logger, gives you a warning when you enable it too.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I'm thinking about it too. But on the other hand - that warning you get with almost all keyboards. It's just for information.

How do you know that? How do you change between languages?

Because I can see on your keyboard "EN" right next to "space" button, this doesn't exist on z1 4.3 keyboard, it switches between languages automatically according to your writing. More clear answer would be it uses multi prediction.
Here I'll show you.
You can see in the screenshot I wrote on my native language as well without having to change languages it did it by itself and also predicted the word by it self.
For the record latest z1 keyboard ( the one I ported) is actually more accurate then the one you ported from 4.2.2 since it has latest SwiftKey predictions integrated while the one your keyboard uses are about 6 months old.
Give it a try you'll see. ( the biggest difference is with the languages that are not English)

As I said mine was taken from a 4.3 Stock ROM NOT a 4.2.2 one. I don't see another language... I see only Latin characters. Try to type smth in Greek or Russian. Mine has the swype function too.
Anyway this my last post here.
Bro!
Wow, good keyboard bro, i tomorrow buy HTC One and use you PORT!
I'm his cousin and the screen shots come from my z1 also the rom provided for the porting (wink)
@gianton
That is old z1 keyboard we had on 4.2.2
The keyboard we have now is the one @Shan89 ported

Here german and English as you see again there's no button, if I use for example English + Russian of course I'll get language button due simple fact it's 2 different types, Latin + Cyrillic, but if used 2 Latin or Cyrillic languages you'll never see the language button.
BTW every xperia keyboard has "swype"
Take a look at the second screen shoot does your settings look like mine? It doesn't because it's the old 4.2.2 keyboard.
Ripping it out from 4.3 Z1 rom doesn't change the fact that your keyboard simply isn't 4.3 Z1 keyboard.
In fact I'll snap a screenshot for you directly from Xperia Z1
Last 3 photos are straight from z1 on 4.3 I've taken as we speak.

The keyboard works fine, but I'm using 3 languages and neither does is show a switch language button, nor does it recognize the language automatically.

Works fine for me, the language button is no longer present in z1 keyboard unless you're using Cyrillic + Latin.
Check your settings, have you enabled all languages? You gotta enable language after downloading it.
