ce rom error

I always got an error on ce rom at 8 percent.

If you want to get help you need to give us more details:
Device model, original ROM version the version you are trying to upgrade to, the PC OS you are using (XP / Vista), error code you are getting.
Only then an answer might be found.

[Q] DI - Baseband/OTA issues

OK, I am pretty new at this. I am running a non-rooted version of the DI with Android 2.1 and baseband 2.05.
Since I upgraded my radio to 2.05 I missed the OTA for Froyo ... I would like to update to the stock OTA 2.2 version to see if it fixes my other issues. I download the vanilla version from here "Thread 770335" ( Because I can't post the link)
The problem is I can't seem to update to it. It says" assert failed: file_getprop( [ lots of file name bla bla] ) .... E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip (Status 7) Installation aborted.
Any thoughts or help? This is for a client, and I can't seem to get it working. Thanks!

Check Fus Downloader 1.2 doesnt work. Plz help

CheckFusDownloader is a neat tool I use to get the latest firmware for my SGS II. It was working fine before updating my Win7. It stopped working and it started giving me "Unhandled exception occurred in you application" error.
I guess it's the .net version 4 framework. How can I get it working back again? Is there any work around I can do?

After some research I found the solution. Basically, have CheckFusDownloader_v1.2 run with compatibility mode of "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)". Have a look at the attached screenshot. Thanks for your replies and Good luck to all.

I can't seem to find a download of the update anywhere. Every link I come across takes me to a site thats not supported anymore or I get a error message. Can somebody shoot me a link for a working downloadable update please

can't use SamFirm for SM-P615

hello
i'm trying to downgrade my p615 to android 12 from android 13 for the purpose of installing lineageos.
SamFirm v0.5.0 gives me this error for some reason.
Could not fetch info for SM-P615/OJM. Please verify the input or use manual info
can you tell me what should i do from here?
