I've already gotten the update (757) on a new Z1c, unrooted.
Is the procedure the same as for 4.3? I'm not interested in unlocking the bootloader yet, just rooting.
Thanks!

Follow my guide here for rooting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642081
You'll end up with 14.3.A.0.681 Generic UK. If you want to upgrade to 0.757 you can follow my other guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688933

You have to downgrade z1c first (steps 1-8), then you can change steps 9 and 12 for the latest .757 fw from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688933

You can't repack modified FTFs. The only way we can provide you is a flashable zip.
ok...please give me.
