Aroma Version:
Its the Big Daddy of all the other versions and the most ideal version to install for a person who knows what he is doing. It contains almost everything Sony has to provide along with all the other Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes, Addons, Applications, Kernels, Recoveries, Mods, Bootanimations, Glass Apps, Google Apps, Bloatware Removal Script etc. The main thing that makes the Aroma Version perfect is that everything in the Installer is optional for the user to install, He/She can either install everything or nothing for a clean install. It gives you complete freedom to configure the ROM and your Device exactly the way you like.
Minimal Version:
Minimal Version is a new version which has been specially optimized keeping the following things in consideration:
Lowest Possible Size
Battery Friendly
More and More Free RAM
All the Possible Bloatware Removed
No Additional Apps (Except the Most Required ones)
Optimized for best Performance, Speed and Smoothness

The Minimal Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Only one Kernel and Bootanimation, No Glass Apps and No Google Apps either. It does not have any undervolting script pre installed but all the Bloatware is already removed from it. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official FTF or from Aroma Version.
This Version is Ideal for those who like a very very clean Install and like to customize and add everything exactly What and How they want. The only things left out in the Minimal Version are the Core Apps without which you would loose the entire feel of Sony Xperia Z1 and without them there would be no pleasure in installing it.
Addons Pack:
The Addons Pack has everything in the Aroma Version except the ROM itself. It is being provided for Minimal and Official Versions because they do not have anything from Aroma Version included in them. So, In case if someone wants to install something from Aroma Version, He/She should use the Addons Pack and as its based on Aroma to, so naturally He/She will have all the options with what to install and what not. This Pack will not only work with my ROM, or any other Stock Based ROM alone, it will work with all other ROMs too (Ofcourse, The ones that support the Included Kernels).

Okay, follow this steps to flash the .157 FTF and how to root it. It will take more than an hour (except for the download of FTF) to finish installing the stock ROM. Hope you have the patience to read every steps.

8. Install a dual recovery via windows, try this link
9. After you installed the dual recovery via Windows, and i assume that your phone is rebooted to recovery, use the volume rockers to navigate to your extrernal SD card, then look for the flashable dual recovery that you download earlier. then install it. Reboot your device and follow the steps below on how to install the latest 6.2.1 iHackers.

Method 1: OTA Update
1. In Settings, browse downwards until you see the "iHackers" menu.
2. Look for the menu "OTA Updater" and tap it.
3. In the OTA Updater, look for the "ROM" tab and tap it. Then tap "Available Updates" if the app doesn't prompt you any new update.
4. The OTA Updater will download the 6.2.1 ROM, install the update and it will boot you to Aroma.
5. After the update, reboot your phone.
Method 2: Manual Download
1. Download this iHackers v6.2.1 [Patch] and paste it to this location>> Internal Storage (SD CARD)/download/ROM.
2. Browse to OTA Updater and look for the download icon, it's located at the top right portion of the app (Arrow down with line under it). It should show the downloaded patch then tap it to install.
3. After the update, reboot your phone.

Locked Bootloader:
How To install the 6.2 iHackers ROM
Since the OP is still not updated, i'll use the current steps (with some changes/updates) on how to install the ROM properly;
For Locked Bootloader Only:
Backup TA Partition
Download the ROM (iHackers 6.2) , then copy if to External SD card.
Reboot into Recovery. (Press the Volume Up repeatedly after you long press the power button.)
Make Sure to do a Wipe Data and Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
Reflash the flashable dual recovery that was placed on your external SD card.
Turn off your phone and reboot it.
After the configuration, go to settings and look for the "iHackers" and select the OTA Updater for the latest 6.2.1 patch.
Install Oficial FTF for Firmware 14.1.G.1.534.
Root Your Phone Using VRoot or KingoApp Root or Whatever You Like.
Backup TA Partition.
Copy the ROM to External SDCard.
Flash the Latest [NUT]'s XZ1Dual Recovery for Xperia Z1 via PC.
Reboot into Recovery (If you already have a working Recovery, Skip the above steps).
Make Sure to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
Skip to the Last Step if you are already on Firmware - 14.4.A.0.133/108.
Install Kernel.ftf for C6903 (.133) or Kernel.ftf for C6902 (.108) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband.
Reboot and Enjoy.
Unlocked Bootloader:

This rom will be installed by recovery mode, your device need Clock work mode recovery before installing.
Firstly, always make an android backup before flashing any rom :
Reboot into recovery, select option "backup and restore" and choose "backup", the backup will be in your sd card / clock work mode folder.
How to install this Rom and Kitchen ?
IF YOU COME FROM OLDER XquiziT xD, NO NEED TO WIPE, BUT IF YOU COME FROM ICS ROM OR OTHER CUSTOM ROM : WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET IS NEEDED BEFORE INSTALLING THE FULL ROM
- Make a Nandroid backup of your current rom (mode recovery/backup and restore/backup)
- Save your user apks with Titanium backup or other (don't save system apks)
- Put the 2 zip downloded (rom and kitchen) on your SD card
- Go to recovery mode and : WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET + WIPE CACHE PARTITION + ADVANCED/WIPE DALVIK CACHE
Your phone is now clean, you can flash the Rom:
- Install zip from SD card
- Choose zip from SD card
- Choose XquiziT xD Rom
- Press YES
ROM INSTALLING IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME...
- When you see : install rom complete : press reboot system now :
FIRST START IS LOUNGER BE PATIENT...
REBOOT YOUR PHONE AFTER ROM INSTALLATION, DO NOT FLASH KITCHEN NOW !
Now, let's flash the kitchen : reboot recovery (you can use power menu : choose reboot and recovery)
- Install zip from SD card
- Choose zip from SD card
- Choose XquiziT Kitchen

Yep
WildChild have you found a solution to the system being so sensitive? For example, I would put a stock untouched systemUI.apk but when it boots up everything systemui related is broken. Same with any other apk.

1 little thing wrong and it goes wild yes. Making edits 1 at a time then test testing. Very sensitive!

BTW what kernel are you going to use???
Is play library widget work on this rom? I installed the leak one and it come blank. This is how it looks.
alright here's some feedback after briefly using it tonight:
-Mine wasn't rooted all the way. Had to run superSU and reboot in order to run my "MyBackup Pro" restore.
-I continue to get a sudden lockup, vibration, and then a popup that says "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped." Have to hit OK to continue.
EDIT: ODEX'ing seems to have fixed my messaging app issue? odd...

System size: 180 MB for minimal, 290 MB for full, 360 MB for the full+odex install
Note: Odexed system will be ~330 MB only, but the process requires some temp space under /system.
Installation steps:
1. Choose kernel - tytung's JB kernel / marc1706's JB kernel
2. Choose location - NAND, NAND with DataOnEXT; NativeSD on SD-EXT (with tytung's kernel)
3. Select data connection - PPP, RMNET (only if bootloader is MAGLDR)
4. Select SWAP or skip step
5. Choose SYSTEM/DATA apps - keyboard, gallery, launcher, now/talk/tts, mail/music/maps/calendar, both 4.1 and 4.2 are available
6. Select wipe method - dalvik-cache only, data/factory (NativeSD safe), none;
7. Select ODEXing or skip step
8. Select/Skip option to retain your PA-Preferences configuration
9. Done - run installer
Use ROM Toolbox from PlayStore, go to Performance -> Memory manager; choose Presets -> Strict (or Aggressive). Apply and select "Apply at boot".
Note: The P.A.C. framework support is just an update on top of PA-HD2, you can't run the two versions parallel, the ROM will use the same PA-HD2 SD-EXT/NativeSD ID/sub-directory!

Issues
My other HD2 is broken, can't do testing or everyday development, but will try to add features and updates
On first boot the Google TTS will crash - if installed.
If you have low ringtone / missing notification sound issues on v2.52-1.x, use this workaround:
go to Settings->Sound->Volumes
unset "Link ringtones & notifications volumes"
set both of them to lowest values
set them to the expected values
The 2G notification toggle does not work. You have to go to Settings->Wireless&networks->Mobile networks (or long press 2G toggle) to turn on/off the 2G-only setting.
On v2.52-1.x don't use RMNET with MAGLDR+marc1706
If you can't boot the ROM, please repeat the installation with the following steps:
Install as before, choose the same options
After deployment finished, save the log files
On the next screen deselect the reboot option
Finish deployment and go back to recovery
Attach phone to desktop, mount usb, copy log from root of the SD to desktop and upload/share the file
Also add the following details to your comment: phone (512/1024), bootloader (cLK/MAGLDR), recovery, kernel, installation (NAND, NAND w/ DataOnEXT, NativeSD), or even partition layout...

by the way , bro. there is a dev cooked a rom base on PACman HD2 v1.1 and make it has calling location functionality . so i am wondering how can i have that function in your rom ? do i need to just replace some files in ur rom with them from that rom ？if so , can you tell which files should i replace ? appreciate for your briliant job .

No, unfortunately the sound issue exists, I think it's a CM based issue...
You have to

2. Do a new clean install and "save log" if done. On the reboot step do not reboot but go back to recovery, attach device to desktop, enable usb storage in recovery, copy file from SD and upload log to somewhere...

device:EU-leo
full install with data one ext and odex
2nd time , change recovery size to 340M and custom install without check the last two option for tts.

my little observations for now :
1, no rom control in settings ,which was able to change alot things for softkey , wish you can take that from PAC 1.1 rom .
2, i found there is very few free internal space i can not install any apps.
3. i feel kinda lag than original rom

1. you mean the AOKP Rom Control? - No, until PAC is only mixing PA and AOKP without real merge, I'll try to stay with clean PA.
2. on EU-leo you have to use DataOnEXT type of deployment. The rom could be stripped down to ~175MB, but it's still big to share NAND between SYSTEM and DATA...
3. Wait a few minutes, do a reboot than wait a few mins - especially if you are on SD-EXT as starting up apps trying to access SD in parallel which is quite painful for SD.
Please note, that animations are turned on, to get more resps, go to Settings->Developer options, scroll down and set animation/duration scales to off (window, transition and animator).

What's Up?
Well. It's come to an end. It's been a long journey since i started deving for DroidACE, I've learnt alot from it and I believe it's now in it's perfect stage. Basically with this rom, i've focused on three main things :

In the v3, I've tried to make everything perfect and add loads of customization. I've included a more enhanced version of Aroma Installer which allows you to make your own rom in recovery. Aroma Installer? What's that?? Just try flashing the rom in recovery, and you'll understand. You might be wondering what AC!D is. AC!D Audio Engine is a sound mod by Team AC!D that provides you with an overall better sound quality. See the changelog on second post for more details.

V3 still uses the Aroma Installer but this time you have more choice. If you choose "Custom Installation" in aroma, you get to make your choices. It's like creating your own rom in recovery.

That's what I keep saying
same problem here...something is rongh and doesn't flash the rom..
I deleted the first code (begining with assert.....) to this line => (package_extract_file("system/bin/backuptool.sh.......) in updater script and it worked
SOLUTION TO NEWBIES:
download this View attachment updater-script.zip file
unzip it to a folder
open the rom with winrar/winzip
go to meta-inf/com/google/android folder
change the updater script with the one above
enjoy!
If it says fail , just wipe data , cache and dalvik again , format /system /data / cache /sd-ext , mount system and flash again . It should work
Installation failed? it works for me without any errors,will try to investigate this problem

Installation works perfect for me but for those who have facing installation problems,go to "mounts and storage" and just format /system and /data and then mount /system and /data and then flash! i think aroma installer doesn't include format /system,/data script so that's why it directly installs the rom without wiping the system data.

These ROMs are based on the JDQ39B stock ROM version. I have created Deodexed versions (recommended) and Odexed versions. The Deodexed versions have everything, and the odexed versions are missing a few items. If not using the odexed version is a true worry, just remember, once the dalvik cache builds up on the deodexed version, there should be minimal - if any - performance difference compared to the odexed version.
I have tested as much as possible, above and beyond. However, if someone finds a bug or error, please let me know. DO NOT PM me as others may have the same issue and it is better to answer it once here than a thousand times through PMs.

PACKAGES
All packages are flashable. There are several apps per package, but you are given the choice to install one, all, a specified amount, or none. Each package contains ONLY free or lite apps.
ES PACKAGE - The Essentials Package - Think of it as a REALLY GOOD starter kit.
BX PACKAGE - The Basix Package - A lot of apps that could come in handy (no social media).
PS PACKAGE - The Power Saver Package - Apps that can greatly increase your battery life... further.
LG PACKAGE - This has almost all the original LG apps in case you want something back that I deleted
SUGGESTIONS
fstrim - If you can't wait for 4.3 of my ROM, and want fstrim support now, buy and download Tasker. Use this thread to allow fstrim support, then use something like LagFix to "trim".
Network Speed - If you are using the odexed version and want the network speed on your status bar, you can install Xposed and then use Xblast Tools (both in the BX Package).
Disable Network Speed - If you are using the deodexed version and DO NOT want the network speed on your status bar, you can download the LG Package and install the LGSystemUI.apk to get rid of it.
QUESTIONS
Why is version the odexed version 0.8 & the deodexed version 1.0?
The deodexed version has everything I wanted to put in. The odexed version does not all the theme mods and network speed on the status bar. Check SUGGESTIONS for a way to add the network speed...
Will the odexed version be updated?
If I have time and can get it to work properly, but the deodexed version will be my priority.

Maybe. It depends on if I think it will benefit everyone, and how much it adds to the ROM. Post a request.
I want something that is in JB 4.3, can you add it?
Likely, no. I plan on making a 4.3 ROM in a bit, so there would be no point for me. But, you can always post a request and see.
Will this work with my variant?
If it is not listed, then NO. You can make a request for your variant in the thread. It'll move progress along if you also post a link to any custom ROM meant for your variant as well.
Why don't you use an AROMA installer?
I experimented with the newest version, but it is just overly convoluted with menu pages and could be confusing when trying to determine how to actually flash the ROM. I had decent success with an older version, but in both versions, there were times where the installer would not go back to recovery and would cause a boot loop from not installing properly. The old methods are best.
I want such-and-such app, can you put it in the ROM?
No, but if it is requested enough I can include it in one of the packages.
Is there different keyboards?
The LG Keyboard comes with the ROM in two themes: Black & White. But you can find the other two themes in the ES Package. If you're looking for another great keyboard, there is a standard keyboard in the BX Package.
Can I flash this zip even though my recovery doesn't "lokify" items (e.g. kernels)?
You should be able to flash on any available recovery without issue.
What can I do with the custom kernel?
The custom kernel adds a lot to performance but here are a few things you can actually do with it: 1) You can undervolt. 2) You can change to newly added governors. 3) You can utilize zRAM. 4) You can calibrate screen colors. 5) You can OC CPU. 6) You can OC GPU.
ISSUES & FIXES
After first boot - I get a few errors after first logging into my Google Account. What do I do?
The errors should open Google Play Store to an update for Google Play Services. Click "Update".
I am only getting the emoji keyboard when I first boot and enter my information. What do I do?
Fill out the information, otherwise you may not get to later... When done, go to Settings>General>Language & input to enable the "LG Keyboard". You can then change it to the LG keyboard by clicking "Default" and selecting it.
The LG Package doesn't install correctly. What do I do?
This happens to some, but not others. If you're of the unlucky few, you can try one of two methods: 1) Extract the APKs manually from the ZIP, place them into /system/app with a file explorer, and reboot the phone. 2) You can try a fewer amount of APKs to install at one time, and if the problem persists, try choosing different APKs.
When I go into Settings and change something for the keyboard, the system crashes when I back out. What do I do?
This happens to some, but not others. If you're of the unlucky few, download the LG Package and install the "UserDictionaryProvider.apk".
When I try to access the secret menu, it doesn't appear. What do I do?
Download the LG Package and install the "HiddenMenu.apk".

I can't sync my calendar. What do I do?
Download the LG Package and use a file explorer to place the "GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk" in the /system/app (overwrite any existing file).
I have a QuickWindow case, but I can't see the clock or music through it, it's just black! What do I do?
Download the LG Package and install the "LGClockWidget.apk" and the "LGMusicWidget.apk".
I have tried everything, but my contacts won't sync. What do I do?
This is quite common on custom ROMs apparently, but most common solutions won't apply. Instead, return to a stock ROM, a backup, or any custom ROM that syncs with your contacts. Once done, go into contacts and click the triple lines at the bottom for the menu. Now click on "Import/Export", click "Export to internal storage", check the "Select all" box in the upper-left corner, and then "Export". When that process is completed title your contacts file to save it. You can now reflash the HeatshiverLX ROM and import the contacts back by repeating these steps but choosing to import your contacts rather than export them.
INSTALLATION
1) Make a backup of your current ROM.
2) Do a Factory Reset.
3) Flash the zip and enjoy!
IF USING HeatshiverLX v2.x/v3.x: simple fix is needed after the first boot listed in the ISSUES & FIXES... And be sure to setup your Google Account when first asked!

PACKAGES
All packages are flashable. There are several apps per package, but you are given the choice to install one, all, a specified amount, or none. Each package contains ONLY free or lite apps.

BX PACKAGE - The Basix Package - A lot of apps that could come in handy (no social media).
PS PACKAGE - The Power Saver Package - Apps that can greatly increase your battery life... further.
NN PACKAGE - The Naughty but Nice Package - There are some security apps, and some apps that are for... "educational" purposes only.
LG PACKAGE - This has all the original LG apps in case you want something back that I deleted
SUGGESTIONS
fstrim - If you can't wait for 4.3 of my ROM, and want fstrim support now, buy and download Tasker. Use this thread to allow fstrim support, then use something like LagFix to "trim".
Custom Kernel - If you are using the odexed version and want the custom kernel, you can go to this thread, download the zip, and flash it.
Network Speed - If you are using the odexed version and want the network speed on your status bar, you can install Xposed and then use Xblast Tools (both in the BX Package).
QUESTIONS
Why is version the odexed version 0.8 & the deodexed version 1.0?
The deodexed version has everything I wanted to put in. The odexed version does not have the custom kernel and a few other things (all performance tweaks are included). Why? Because the custom kernel causes audio and WiFi issues, and the other mods are not working yet, like the network speed on the status bar.
I like odexed version but I want the features of the deodexed version, what can I do?
If you want the custom kernel you can either flash the custom kernel from here, or you can flash this recovery with the custom kernel built-in.
Will the odexed version be updated?
If I have time and can get it to work properly. But the deodexed version will be my priority.
There's something I want, can you add it?
Maybe. It depends on if I think it will benefit everyone, and how much it adds to the ROM. Post a request.
I want something that is in JB 4.3, can you add it?
Likely, no. I plan on making a 4.3 ROM in a bit, so there would be no point for me. But, you can always post a request and see.
Will this work with my variant?
If it is not listed, then NO. You can make a request for your variant in the thread. It'll move progress along if you also post a link to any custom ROM meant for your variant as well.
Why don't you use an AROMA installer?
I experimented with the newest version, but it is just overly convoluted with menu pages and could be confusing when trying to determine how to actually flash the ROM. I had decent success with an older version, but in both versions, there were times where the installer would not go back to recovery and would cause a boot loop from not installing properly. The old methods are best.
I want such-and-such app, can you put it in the ROM?
No, but if it is requested enough I can include it in one of the packages.
Is there different keyboards?
The LG Keyboard comes with the ROM in two themes: Black & White. But you can find the other two themes in the ES Package. If you're looking for another great keyboard, there is a standard keyboard in the BX Package.
Can I flash this zip even though my recovery doesn't "lokify" items (e.g. kernels)?
You should be able to flash this on any available recovery without issue.
What can I do with the custom kernel?
The custom kernel adds a lot to performance but here are a few things you can actually do with it: 1) You can undervolt. 2) You can change to newly added governors. 3) You can utilize zRAM. 3) You can calibrate screen colors.
INSTALLATION
1) Make a backup of your current ROM.
2) Do a Factory Reset.
3) Flash the zip and enjoy!

The call quality tweak you are interested in is purely for call clarity. It is possible to create an updater script to add this property, but it seems pointless unless you have a lot of other universal tweaks you would want to add. If you really need this, send me a PM and I'll make one for you. But I'll have to give you some instructions to follow if you want to use it for other ROMs as certain things will need to be changed to use it for different ROMs.

A lot of LG items are gone, but I kept what I thought were the best (i.e. IR, lock screen with some widgets, KnockOn, launcher, slide aside, etc.). This is also the reason for the Packages. You can use the LG Package to install things I have removed that you wanted to keep.
Getting "boot certification verify" error on boot after Full-Wipe with v1.0 deodexed...

1. Backup your device data. Turn off your device.
2. Download Pranjal's ROM v1.1 and SP Tools.
3. Extract both the files in separate folders.
4. Run "Flash_tool.exe"
5. Click "Scatter-loading" and select the "MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt".
6. Click "Download"
7. While your device is turned off, connect it via USB and SP tools will download the ROM to your device.
8. Wait for a green circle on your computer screen, after which disconnect your device.
9. Flash v3 DIRECT UPGRADE via cwm recovery and then v3.1, turn on your device and then conduct a factory reset (factory reset is your choice).
10. Run "xposed installer" and click "framework" > "Install" > "ok" > "back" > "modules" > check all three and reboot

It's not just an xposed customised rom. This rom, like my rom for Samsung galaxy 3, is based on the minimalist concept with malware, crapware and redundant apps removed!
So your battery lasts longer device performance is better. Music in this device is amazing.
Also it's for those who like to stay as close to stock as possible with the best music, performance and battery.

Lenovo super camera is good, but has a problem.. Check out the image. I'll add it in extras though.
I have already replaced the stock jelly bean launcher with go launcher which offers many options and themes, including KitKat theme. I will provide that in extras too.
Check out the "future development" on page one for upcoming features.

BTW it would be easy for you to not to include xposed or gravity box which can be readily available to download. in fact, Most of of the apps which can be downloaded from play store can be omitted to reduce size.
Also it has now become a norm to provide flashable zip ROMs as SP tools methods feels too complex. So please look into providing flahsable ones. Perhaps that is one of the reasons y your rom is not getting expected downloads, I feel.

I cannot exclude xposed and gravity, though my motto is a minimalistic design, because if by accident you removed any of these files/apk then your settings will fail. I want my rom to be stable in extreme circumstances too

Not just the updates, but whole ROM should be released as zip for more people to benefit (you know, there are many issues with drivers for these devices on windows 7 and windows 8).
I do not understand what settings might fail. If any settings are to fail then it should be related to Xposed and GB, not the base ROM itself. Could you please elaborate?

Yes, I will make the whole ROM in zip format. Currently I do not know how to make the whole ROM in a flashable zip. Although I know how to make a flashable zip. I'll definitely work on this, as it is needed in my SG3 ROM too.
Yes, xposed and Go settings will be removed which might leave you helpless at the time of need.. Like torch or other quick shortcuts. The ROM in itself will not fail, but the default Android format will be enabled.

Awesome ROM! No problem till now. Everything is working fine. Full charge completed at 6 AM today...........listened to music, always on 3G, done whatsapp, hangout, facebook, hangout video call two times for 10 mins each, normal calling......and now it is 9 PM, battery is showing 60%. Highly recommended to every mmx a210 owner.....excellent job bro....keep it up.
