For Starters....
I'd just like to stay that this is none of my own work, I've just piggy backed off everyone else's work because I wanted the latest stock rooted with recovery. And i am by no means a developer. But I've seen this been requested a few places so I thought I would share.
This installed perfectly on my sim free 16gb D802 here in the UK, so I cannot see any reason why it wont install on any 16gb D802.
First off, Recovery.
I used Philz touch(6.19.7), I haven't had a single problem with the latest version of this recovery for either stock or aosp roms. And if you wish to use this rom please use his latest recovery for a smooth install as i can not help you otherwise. This rom has NOT been tested on twrp so please do not use it for this rom.
Installation
There has been one report of someone loosing their recovery, if you test this zip, use an app from the play store to boot into recovery to avoid doing a full wipe if recovery isn't their.
If you haven't installed a stock kk rom before with custom recovery, you'll need to download the kitkat baseband from Cloudyfa, if your not sure do it anyway, it wont hurt - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2680948
If you wish to be rooted the easiest way is to make root when prompted as you exit recovery and then install SuperSu from the play store. Alternatively you can download the latest SuperSu and flash it in recovery.
Second download THE ROM - https://mega.co.nz/#!lt9AhYzD!kOjq9_C8Ag-vP1D8UKnbAl3dwx8zmK__BETgGuQdSnE
Mirror - Thanks Wimmme - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_CmKeXB6dmrU0ZUbXBKY2Vmanc/edit
Back up personal data
Nandroid Backup
Do A Full Wipe!!
Flash KitKat Baseband if needed.
Flash Rom
Flash SuperSu *Optional, can be flashed or installed after.
Reboot!
If you feel it is a bit sluggish comparing with the custom stock roms, you can always reduce the animation speed in developer settings.
Problems with 4G/LTE?
Get a file explorer with root. Go to root of phone -> system -> build.prop and change ro.telephony.default_network from 9 to 11 and save. Annoyingly will be lost after reboot. If it still doesn't work after this change, try also along with this edit:

I can't say for sure as i can not test but, i can tell you that people with 32gb phones have had success with the same flashable zip without the mods for custom recovery if you check their threads. So my guess is yes, it would work, but there is no guarantee, if you try just make sure you have a 32gb rom you've used before and know if working on the phone to flash back to or of course do a nandroid backup.
If anyone has tried this, please post and let me know its running. So I can leave the thread up with confidence. Thanks.

It is working on my Singaporean 32GB D802. I didn't have to do a full wipe and it's ok.
Just flashed it all and it works great.

I'm really sorry about that! But to my understanding it shouldn't even be possible since only the system, modem and cust partitions are in the zip so your recovery shouldn't be touched.
Are you sure you didn't flash anything else before hand? what's steps did you take? followed my instructions?
To anyone who wants to test if they have recovery, then I recommend using an app from the play store in order to reach your recovery, that way i think you'll avoid wiping your phone if you truly have no recovery anymore after flashing the zip.
Update
So your post has really made me panic as obviously I only have good intentions and feel terrible about your loss of personal data. But I've double even triple checked everything, not much can go wrong, I just tested the zip with TWRP. And I'm still getting a good install with recovery. You do have the D802 yes? as clearly the zip only contains the patched D802 boot only.
I've literally only just started developing for a few months now after a recent uni project inspired me. Building myself a custom rom adding the features I miss but such problems like this scare me of ever sharing them. Too much responsibility.
Again really sorry, would love to know what has gone wrong. I'll leave the link up for now unless a similar problem occurs in which it will be removed.
Maybe he accidentaly flashed lenash's zipfile instead of yours. Then he would lose custom recovery.

Yeah, I guess your right, I thought I was pretty safe sharing this as like I said it isn't my own work just patched together what the experienced developers have released. But I have work in progress I think people will enjoy. Just didn't realise how responsible i would feel untill i read that message and had a full blown panic haha.
has someone seen any change/improvement vs 20b?
Since kitkat my g2 stutter when playing youtube HD video over wifi when bluetooth is enabled. as soon as I turn it off, it plays smoothly.
I would really like to know if this release fix it before upgrading.

If done also some investigation, the "crash handler" is never called within the kernel, so it obviously has to happen somewhere outside, which makes it even more likely that LG patched something new in, I'll try to "disable" the handler and send you an image, would be great if you could check, if it's working out as I think @suljo94

so if I understand well your kernel should work on every rom (including CloudyG3 1.1 wich is based on M firmware) ? The watchdog error comes from somewhere else right ?
A Nandroid backup made with TWRP can fully restore the phone to a good state if we have this watchdog error ?

Yes and no, the kernel is compatible with any rom and is confirmed working on Cloudy, but some face problems on 10L based roms, which is not directly rom related though.
Yes, a nandroid can restore it completely, currently this isn't even needed, but just a reboot fixes it.

Dears,
A million thanks for the help. Now the issue is that when trying to load the kernel. What do you suggest to be the best settings for governors and schedulers to get the best performance and which ones to have the best ratio performance/battery drain?
Thank you!

Thanks for the ROM. I'll be testing and report back on how it works for me.
One issue I immediately see if that wifi seems to not be working for me. Every time I try and turn it on, it is either greyed out and I can't toggle it, or if I am able to toggle it, it just doesn't do anything. I rebooted, still same issue. I think I flashed it properly (I wiped data, cache, dalvik, system), but I may try flashing again.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for this?
EDIT: Did a second full wipe and flash and still no wifi. Everything else seems to work connection wise, airplane mode, bluetooth, mobile data, just not wifi.

DPI change?
Hey, the ROM is still going smooth. No real issues so far (except my battery life isn't as good as before, but it's not terrible or anything).
I have been trying to change the DPI on this ROM, but I have not been able to make it stick. I have tried using the build prop editor app as well as directly editing the build prop via ES File Explorer. Neither has worked. Has anyone been able to change their DPI or is there something specific that I need to do to get it working?

I have tried some of the Chinese roms for my d820u, with various success. The best I have found so far is this one (rooted deodexed but otherwise stock from HK). Very stable, good on battery usage and supporting correctly dual standby (none of the other roms were). Aside from a (very) few Chinese words here and there. it is very good.
http://bbs.gfan.com/android-7855530-1-1.html (you need to subscribe to the forum to download, Google translate is your friend)
You can flash it in TWRP, the first setup screen is in Chinese but you can change the language to English pretty easily.
If you need the Play store or any Google apps, you can flash one of the 4.4.4 Gapps package as explained in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
You need a full wipe after installing the Gapps package, otherwise you will get a force close on the initial Setup Wizard.

The look&feel is exactly stock HTC. I use Apex, so a home screenshot won't help you, but I attached the dialer and about screens.
I haven't had time to test it but the author claims perfect root and ART working. I came from an already rooted rom, I just flashed TWRP, the rom and gapps. Xposed status unknown, and I can't really tinker right now, I need the phone for work.

i'm wondering if the dialer can be used on stock rom. so, if you don't mind, kindly upload the contacts and phone files and share the links. is there built-in call-recording in the in-call screen? many thanks in advance.

I'm learning as well with you guys! Can't wait for the ROMs to kick off and this phone to really be used to it's full potential!
Hello guys, I just rooted the phone (even tho it came with an unlocked bootloader) I just checked the android development section... and there are no roms? Is that right or am I looking in the wrong subforum?

Wow @koop1955 you really are Einstein! I'll get to flashing right away, I have already rooted but had not encountered the deep sleep problem so I wont do that install yet.

If you are not experiencing the issue, then there is no need to flash.
If however you take the plunge and install TWRP, you will probably need this.

I tried to be clear that this was for the tutorial, not needed for you...yet.
If you are going to flash a ROM, even via FlashFire, I believe that you will trip Knox. Same with a custom kernel. (Joe, can you ask a dev?) That said, if flashing a ROM is in your future or if you want to include this in your tutorial, then you might as well flash and use TWRP. And if you flash TWRP, you should flash the patch.
Joe, I hope to see you on the Dark Side soon...we have cookies! (And some pretty cool ROMS!)

Very good to everyone, compis.
I present my first Custom Rom for the new LeEco Le Pro2 X720, a piece of terminal that arrived yesterday.
It is based on the 20s version of EUI 5.9, with the following changelog:
- Clean of Chinese applications.
- Play Store installed.
- Synchronization of contacts and calendar with the Google account.
- Rooted.
- Busybox installed.
- Bloated.
- Changed the splash so that the boot is not in Chinese.
- Changed the animation boot by Google.
- Included Root Explorer.
- Including Google Pixel Launcher, for those who do not like the Launcher EUI.
- Including animated wallpapers of Google Pixel, very cool.
- Small and very light tweaks of performance improvements.
In my blog you have several catches, one of them with the punctuation of Antutu:

No, my ROMs never contain bootloader and baseband. I think that this are a LeEco responsability, a wrong flash or this files may cause damage on our phones.
Youre welcome ¡
This rom Turkish Language?
Very good ROM so far
I'm still using your ROM since yesterday night and so far its solid and I removed even more leeco bloat with root uninstaller. So far your ROM has the lowest RAM usage by far.
When I do clear all recent apps still have a 2.6GB RAM free!
If there is anything you like to ask or know just reply and I will do my best to answer. I'm using the Chinese Leeco Le Pro 3 from Honorbuy (X720). Been flawless after rooting and flashing TWRP with the Grossoshop ROM and now yours.

I will off course report back during the week on how I get on with it.

On my device (X720) the Rom doesnt boot.
I wiped dalvik/Cache and data and installed the Rom.
Check if your file are wrong, download again please.
I dont test yet, but other users had installed it without problems.

sorry I do not know. I'm on cm13 right now.
I tryed another time.
i flashed over my 17s the GrossoShop 18s Rom. That worked and the rom boots.
After that i flashed the T.A.R.S. Rom over my GrossoShop 18s Rom and wiped cache and dalvik.
But it still stucks in splash screen
I tried also another 20s Rom. "V2_LE_ZL1_LEX720-CN-FN-WAXCNFN5902011181S-5.9.020S". This Rom stucks in TWRP when installing on "patching system image unconditionally"
