[Q] PACMAN ROM + reboot randomly shows fresh installation

hello everyone, i have this problem:
I have installed PACMAN 2.54 ROM few days back and suddenly today with 70% battery i saw that it is switched off. Pressing the power button won't start it and hence i made a cold reboot (power button + trackball + volume down keys) and the phone started. But it showed a fresh installation of paranoid rather than starting with my existin installation and launcher, apps, etc. Any suggested solution how to restore to my previous installation?

[Q] issue with lockscreen and power button....

After flashing funtouch touch os and blaze kernel i have issue with lockscreen since after pressing power button 4-5 times only lockscreen appears. And this problem exists only with funtouch os and blaze kernel and i really want to use funtoush os. Then i tried to flash the stock kernel and reflash the funtoush os rom but it gives me 'Unfortunately setting has crashed' error, but setting gets opened but phone does not connect to pc. So i cant reflash the rom again and if i restore the previous backup of funtouch os then no such error occurs but only power button issue is found. Restarting the phone soves the problem for some time. I even wrote on funtouch os thread but no reply came so i am posting here. So plz help me to get rid from this problem. Thank you

My micromax canvas 4 is switched off and also my all butons thats is volume up and down and also power buttons are not working i have also not turned on USB debugging before my mobile was switched off so i cannot even turn it on my my laptop please suggest me something to turn on my mobile.

yesterday i decided to flash a new LOLLIPOP ROM in my redmi 1s and after searching for many ROMs I downloaded "[ROM][5.1] Android Ice Cold Project 9.0" and after following the MIUI site's tutorial about "How to Flash Custom ROM On Redmi 1S", I flashed this ROM..
Music player was stopping continuously but other then this everything was working fine...and as I was using MIUI 5.0 earlier, after getting the backup of apps and data using titanium, I restored everything in this new ROM(although I was not supposed to restore the data but now I'm regretting about that)..and after restoring the data from titanium, it demanded a restart so after rebooting the phone now everything is stopping continuously (email, message some trebuchet app and many more)..even systemUI has also stopped and even sims are not showing any network plus after connecting USB it is not showing files of phone..
Now I can't open the phone the only thing i can do is long press the power button and reboot/switch off the phone..
tried the recovery mode by pressing the volume down+power button but it is showing some FASTBOOT icon and is not running further...
I don't know what to do now as I'm new in this area...So please help me out..:crying::crying:

Its fine nothing to worry, you can get back to other ROM using recovery.
But you were doing it the wrong way.
Volume down + power = fastboot mode
Volume up + power = recovery mode
Hope you got it.
Wipe everything. Flash a fresh ROM.
And remember miui v5 is still android 4.3
And lollipop is android 5.
There are several apps that are still not compatible with lollipop (because of Runtime change).
Anyway try that. And ya, use latest titanium backup and also better to flash SuperSU instead of inbuilt root. Since many people had problems with inbuilt root app in developers setting.

Dude that key combination is for fastboot mode,to go into recovery mode you should press Vol up + power button.And why are you restoring apps from miui on cm based rom.it will not work,miui apps requires its own framework.so dont restore miui apps on any other rom

hi all , i unlocked bootloader , installled custom recovery , than installed Leedroid Rom and finally Xposed, its 2nd week i think, well 2 days before i upgraded my room to latest leedroid version ,
anyway here is the thing , i charged my phone to full watching movie on computer and playing game clash royale and checking whatsapp and facebook , but now screen wont turn on , i hold the power button nothing i held for 10-20 sec nothng , power+vol up , still nothing , ok than power+vol down and botton light flashing (back and running apps) , i plugged to charger nothing to pc , nothing
i dont know whats wrong its not even a month of device
xposed app listed below they had to do somthing about this ?

UPDATE
when pressed power+vol down the capacitive keys (back and recent apps) i just touched both , and boom vibrated and went to download mode than i reboot and everything was normal
can someone know what was issue

Latest Leedroid + clumsy kernel are buggy, it will freeze the phone randomly, so reflash Leedroid but with stock kernel (it's in the Leedroid install menu)

Is there any other better custom kernel ?

Every ROM is crashing/freezing

Hey there, i tried few roms (almost all of them based on Android N) and every single one freezes randomly or crash and then i cant power up my phone and only combination of Power key + volume down will start phone normaly.
Sometimes phone runs smoothly without any problems for hours and sometimes im getting crashes every few minutes .
EDIT: Ooops it looks like i choosed wrong section.Can someone delete it or move it to Lenovo K5 ?

Im on lenovo K5 with Ressurection ROM Kernel(See image)
