Help PORTing Alien ROM from SKYROCKET

Not many roms are coming out can someone atleast port them over from skyrocket id like to have the alien rom working how it should i hope i put this in the wright place to so every one will see

I will work on it a little later today.

You should do some of the newer ones. I've flashed the aosp themed one and the venom and they are quick and data seems to not lag as much when using 4g.

If you have the rotation issue, use a t989 kernel instead of a skyrocket kernel.

FYI
If you don't know what section this goes in I believe it has been mentioned somewhere, "Read Me 1st" to put them in the General Section and the Mod will move it. Read before posting.

Alright everyone I think we are beating a dead horse here. The person understands what they did.

Flash in recovery then reboot let it finish booting, then go into recovery and flash one of our kernels.

Have you flashed this yet? I want to make sure the problem is not specific to Bori however improbable that is

Guys this obviously will only work with WIFI right now so it's something to play with. Dazednconfused is a very talented Dev over at Sprint.

No I haven't tried it yet. Been testing for computerkid23. To me it's just a teaser without working data.

It's all good with me. Maybe somebody can help with the data issue. If you get it working let me know. Maybe add a huge thanks from me to Dustinb17 for sharing a lot of his blue Cobalt images with me to get the original rom put together. Nice job on what you have so far man.

Team venom has a lot of these types of roms over at the sprint forums...
Once I perfect my porting script I might ask permission and port some of those too

hey bro, i dl your file and made it into a flashable zip, but it wont boot, i think the boot.img is bad, did you put one of our kernels in?
well it goes to the bootanimation which is nice but all goes black after that, ill tinker with it see what going on but just thought id let you know

I'll try to get in touch with bori also. I know he changed the boot.img and then flashed an AT&T kernel.

First off, hello.
My name is Joel, new to posting here but normally lurk around.
I have a question about the Chaos Rom, is it comptiple with Sprint SPH-L710 Galaxy S3 running stock 4.1.2? i read all over the topic but could not find a list of compatible devices ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38005934&postcount=3 )
If not what are some recommended Roms, i dont really want CM.
Hope this is the right place to post, if not Please let me know, im having a hard time finding my way around all of these sub forums haha.

That ROM is for the International s3 the I9300 if you flash any ROM from that section you will hard brick your phone.

Thanks for the heads up, is there a Sprint version at all? i like the rom because of the different things it includes.

Wicked sensations...MOAR...The peoples rom are the ones i recommend....howevever its really just up to what you are looking for. There is definatly something for everyone. Just keep searching and u will find the right one for u. Try different ones out. And u did a great job by making sure about the one u were considering.

DO NOT FLASH this rom as I do not know if it will go perfectly or catch your phone on fire. I take no responsibility for your actions.
With that said, here it is 4.3 for the N7100 and I was hoping that a developer would be able to port it. Judging from the discussion I have been reading Knox is included and causes some problems with root but you can disable Knox from your app manager. Anyone with porting experience care to weigh in?

Hmm, yeah didnt see that. I only saw the forum sub title seeing N7105
Well maybe we'll have ours soon.

I tried flashing a couple ROMs with this base and all they did was get as far as the boot screen, and then the phone vibrated in a pattern similar to Morse code lol XD I went to recovery and restored my last ROM and all was well. I hope we see a port soon!

Nothing yet as far as I know. We are waiting for Samsung to release a kernel for our models.

I hope it wasn't because of the Cloudy incident. Cloudy was totally out of place! This ROM was a game changer for the Sprint G2! I hope we can still have access to it soon! 1.8 was soooo close! Bring it back pleaseeeeeee!

No, its a G2 Rom. Its a port from a G3 dump but its for a G2 so it belongs in a G2 forum.

Rom for the G2 that's ported from the G3, the rom is sim unlocked, very easy to unlock a Sprint LG G2. Always flash the GSM version of the Rom through Aroma
