Dear all,
I dislike the LG's email client and its clock application in their v50020b form (Android v4.4.2). While I've been able to get the Android's default email client (Email.apk) from another Kitkat device I have and make it run fine in the LG G Pad 8.3, when I install the Android's default clock app (Deskclock.apk) and I run it I get a FC.
Has anyone an idea on what may be wrong / missing doing this?

Curiously, i just installed the apk from http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/themes-apps/app-4-4-kit-kat-clock-alarm-timer-t2513526 and it worked flawlessly. Maybe the apk from my other device is using cm11 not stock android.

I have an application called Foxtel Go, which allows me to stream my TV programs (Foxtel) on my Android device. However the APP only allows you to use it when the phone is not rooted (Condition one) and running an official Samsung TW Phone (Condition 2). I have condition one solved because I have an APP which hides root using Xposed Installer. Condition 2 I cannot meet because I'm running Android 4.4.2 (ProBam ROM). Is there a way to make Foxtel Go think I'm running an official TW Rom?

you have to change the build.prop to the requirements of the app
Download a stock based rom and take the build.prop file
Open it with a file manager and change the parameters to your custom ProBam rom
Does anyone know if it's possible to install the Google stock dialer from the nexus 5 with unknown caller ID onto the lg stock rom? I know the dialer works fine for asop roms but I'm uncertain about stock based roms.
I doubt that it would work since the bases are different but confirmation is appreciated.

I don't know about RadeonMaya ROM but it works fine in stock kitkat for F240K variant (I think Radeon Maya is based on a F240 variant). It works in conjunction with the stock dialer so you should not delete any stock apps. Just install the google dialer in system/priv-app with 644 permission. Then you need to create a shortcut to google dialer to enable the dialer.

Where did u get the apk? Just ripped it from the zip?

Found it, had to find the Odexed version and was able to locate that from the nexus 5 forum. Worked just fine when I moved it to the folder and set the permissions as you stated.
I was able to create a shortcut via Action launcher so now i'm all set.

since i updated my g pad to kitkat rom,i am not abble to find or synch my pc google chrome favorites to stock lg browser
i also have an lg optimus f6 as phone, and the stock browser propose for favorites : phone or mail adress.
when i choose mail adress, all my pc favorites are synchronysed with my phone, as my g pad before kitkat update, but now my g pad stock browser only propose : phone and i didn't found a way to change it
i don't have this problem with android chrome browser, who works fine with it, but i prefer the stock lg browser to use
if anyone have an idea, cause i don't like others browsers ... :/
I also have the same issue. Can't synchronize websites with the stock android Web browser. And I have stock kitkat update too.

I flash the stock rom 4.4.3. When I try to install Zooper Pro Widget I have a RPC:S-3 error. I have no problem to install other apps or make an uptade of other apps.
I've tried remove google account, clear data/cache etc. but nothing works .
Impossible to live without Zooper Widget. So useful app for design the N5.
Can someone help me ?

Had the same problem with "ai type +"
But they have in latest upd, add *fixed server update error RPC:S-3
dunna whats wrong though.. it is a google server problem for diff apps?!
I touched original QPair apk just a little... So... When you receive new SMS or MMS, popup windows will appear. Before I touch, it crashed but now, not anymore.(really?)
You will be able to enter Message Alert menu in QPair app without crash as before.
In order to install and use QPair, you should edit build.prop.
1. ro.product.brand=google to lge
2. ro.product.manufacturer=asus to lge
3. Uninstall QPair app if you installed another QPair app before. I signed with testkey so it will occur signature conflict.
It doesn't matter whether you installed Qpair app to phone. You can install QPair to your phone from Play Store.
I searched LG-V510 in smalies and changed it to Nexus 7, so you don't have to change product.model to LG-V510 (maybe, I did not changed but working well.)
ouh,,,,,, My little English knowledge make me difficult...
Umm, SMS popup will appear very normally, but when you touch text field, keyboard will not pop-up. I don't know why, logcat says "D MmsFloatingWindowService: [LGE] showInputMethod" but nothing happen.
When you long click the text field, it will crash. I think long click menu is not implemented to this apk but I don't know how to do it cuz I'm not a developer.
Anyway, Enjoy~ I bought Tablet talk but I uninstalled it. Qpair is more better I think. O my money.
If it is illegal, I will delete it.
I can't seem to install the app, i get the "package appears to be corrupt" error. Any ideas? I'm using Resurrection Remix v5.8.0 (Android 7.1.1).
I used to use QPair all the time but one of the updates stopped the build.prop trick from working
