[Q] Using speaker with display dim. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I have my display set to sleep after 30sec, and power button set to end call.
When I use my phone in speaker mode and the display goes black, I'm unable to access anything (say if I want to add something to my calendar, while still talking to someone) because I have the power button set to end the call.
Is there a setting somewhere (or app) where if this happens I can double tap the screen or use the volume up to awake the phone?

Try PGM app
Aka
Touch control

For BB10 style screen wake use the following settings:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Which ROM you running?
Cause most custom ROM's have the option to make the volume buttons wake the screen.

[Q] Lock screen freeze issue (with pics)

My wife's SGS3 has a strange lock screen freeze issue I'd like your input on.
How the lock screen is supposed to look.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
How the lock screen appears when the freeze problem arises. I can't input the unlock pattern since the input dots are moved partially off-screen to the right. The screen is unresponsive, so the only option is to turn off the phone and restart using the power button. This happens about once a day. Any thoughts?
Looks like it's displaying the landscape config. See if there's a setting to turn that off for the lock screen.

[APP] Flashlight (With Translucent NavBar/Softkeys)

Hi guys, I have created this simple and fast Flashlight app (without ads) with a lot of innovation, such as the Translucent NavBar, Lux Sensor Mode and Camera Mode.
By default it'll light up both your LED and Screen, but you can also use the other modes such as LED only or Screen only. I have also included Shake Mode, Anti-Touch Mode (Control the screen by using your Volume buttons) and Screen Color Mode.
The design is simple and you can also change the button to Turn On and Off of the app.

Did you used any mods to activate an onscreen navbar? That removes the touch key light duration option.

Are there any on screen volum slider? needed when driving

Once I am in my car it connects to bluetooth. With the phone in the holder its impossible to get to volume button unless its removed to access back volume buttons?
is there a workaround for this... I'm sure anyone who puts their phone in some sort of a holder, has this problem...
Is there an app that puts a volume slider on the screen?
You can add a volume slider in your notification panel by going into the edit toggle all the way on the right. Just tick the volume option.

If you ever find yourself taking your eyes off the road to fiddle with phones, consider buying a cheap bluetooth remote you can operate by touch. Much safer.

Pixel Stand Question/Help.

Got my pixel stand today and have a couple questions.
When I place the phone on the stand while the screen is on instead of displaying the 'assist' screen: (photo for reference only)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
the display goes to sleep and displays the screen saver - which in my case is just the clock.
Only when the phone is in the Always On Display state: (photo for reference only)
does it show the 'Assist' screen. Is there a setting somewhere so that any time I place the phone (regardless of it's state) on the Stand it defaults to the 'Assist' screen?
Secondly when I'm playing music it displays the song info, but after several tracks it reverts back to the 'Assist' screen.. Is that normal?
Thanks!
